  1. If they put the games on a modern engine that would be interesting but if its just an airbrush over to make it 4K or whatever, you can already have that on PC. Pointless. But yes @GazzaGarratt like @J4MES OX4D said, the stories are magnificent if you've never played them. Vice City and San Andreas are both brilliant and both so different. Best radio stations as well 😁

  3. FG Friday gave many of us our first chances to look at the game (good turnout as well @phil bottle @MrBiron @Greboth @LordBaguette @Macca89 @Stretch616 @Diddums @tronic44 @Tadnothad ) and I thought for the most part it actually has a lot of potential. The graphics on the PS5 looked incredible, and I already feel like there is a good game there to be played in November. The glitches which nearly gave us all epileptic fits was the most concerning issue I experienced through it. A few other graphical mishaps but overall my experience wasn't as bad as you guys above had. Its a 2 month old build and they've confirmed they had some server fixes already in that just missed it - I'll still hold reservations on that due to their previous launches, however it won't put me off the game at all. The attachment selection in game is awesome and so good that you can switch out mid running to another capture zone. The tornado came into one game and we all went flying into it. Crazy scenes and the UI glitching out (on purpose) when you're in it adds to the coolness of it. It could get annoying after a while if campers start to spread into the camoflauged trees and dark green surroundings but should be enough people in-game running around like headless chickens to balance the game out. Shame others felt the experience wasn't that great, I just looked through the shitty bits and felt an extremely solid game to be bought there.

  5. Your perpetual optimism is as unwavering as ever. 😆 I do however think the game will end up being good. I don’t think it will out the gate though. BF 4 went through a rough bit before it became the game we loved. So I imagine this will follow suit. This is the first game that made me come close to hurling from using the tank gunner. So that’s a only in Battlefield moment.

  6. What, you? You looked through the (very expensive) shitty bits? I don't believe you.

  7. It's a rare Gr.4 this week where your car should shine @GazzaGarratt but I understand, its a harsh unforgiving game when something goes wrong. I suggest finding 30 minutes each week to test and that might help you come race night.

  8. None of the games have online play but each one comes with a magnificent standalone story. Vice City and San Andreas will definitely go down in videogame folklore.

  9. I knew the Beetle was a thirsty bitch but didn’t realise it was that bad. A shame it ruined what was a good race. But as you said you had a lot going on last week so I wouldn’t be too hard on yourself mate. It’s good to have a Kiwi for the competition but it was nice having a week off to have a more relaxed race.

  10. I think if we start putting up some GoS runs as standard anyway, I think this will help more people get used to it (including me!) so when we do have a few people needing Divinity we'll hopefully have a pool of people really solid at GoS to help 😄

Hello! I wouldn't mind sniper elite or Warhammer to be honest. Both are games I would love to try 🙂

  14. Ridiculous crap like that should never have even made the beta. I don't know why they do this to themselves. So many little annoying issues that need to be sorted before launch. There's a really good game to be had here if they can avoid fucking it up. I much prefer the PC version. I increased the frame limit and turned off Vsync and I was getting a solid 70 fps on high settings (1440p). Ran really well and without the weird flashing glitches on the PS5.

  16. It's really common for the general public to think of content creators as just people who sit in a chair and play games all day. They don't understand editing videos, photoshop skills for thumbnails and stream assets, brand management and trying to secure sponsors outside of all of this! There are two mini-rob's now! (A 6 and 4 year old!) They're doing great!

  17. Had one game just now on PC and it was pretty decent. Mechanics feel familiar and the game looks good. Animations are very poor at times though especially when looking at enemy air vehicles - I saw a couple of jets do instant 360's and infantry movement can appear erratic and wonky. The user interface is far too busy and I hope elements can be disabled, scaled down or minimised until relevant to the player. Maps will take a while to learn but I found it quite difficult at times to spot the objective and when capturing, it needs to be clearer - not as clear as the sector report bars which take up 10% of the bloody screen but something just a little tidier that doesn't blend in to all the other onscreen shite. Games like this you can lose your bearings quite easily especially when trying to manage your squad, the objective, gear and the enemies in an instant. Got to see the rocket go off Also a five man feed including 4 with one grenade!

  21. Honesty is the best policy - and I think after how I felt in last week's racing its made me feel a little put off my GT habits. It was completely my own fault and whilst it didn't help that I was rushing back from daughters footy training and quick pop to my mums as the family dog after 16 years had his last night on this planet, it doesn't take away how shit it felt for fuel to end what was a great race up until then. First race ever I didn't look at the fuel gauge and concentrated on the calls that were just expected to be about tyres. Chose a better tyre to ge through the race, only made one mistake that cost me 3-4 seconds and that was about the same distance i was behind Phil in 2nd. What I didn't expect was the game to tell me i had 1 lap of fuel left with 3 laps to go. I tried to eek it out but essentially paused the last lap as i had no petrol whatsoever. Gutting performance after a strong race. Might need to miss a week to make my brain feel better about it all. We'll see. Outside my own misfortunes, @Greboth put in his usual class at the front. @Mikepjbell @crispymorgan and @slamminbones were a little off the pace last week but @phil bottle is starting to show he is Mr. Consistent with a strong second place again.
