With the price tag of the main simulator I wonder how much the "home" units will be😳

Figured I'd start this thread and just update it with pictures of some of my 3D printed projects as I work on them rather than start a new thread for every thing I print and do. Just started this project a bit over a week ago. I decided I wanted to do a medieval diorama for my theater room since the rest of the room's decor is all medieval themed. So decided to start printing a scene which will be a castle tower sitting on the edge of a rocky shoreline of the ocean with a dragon on top of the tower, then a giant kraken coming out of the water attacking the tower. Took about 130hrs to print just the tower pieces. Then did a lot of paint work and weathering to make it look aged, made some vines out of stained twine and ground up some reindeer moss to make the moss and growth on the towers crack. Added some wood railing and made a wood door. Have the dragon pieces running on both printers right now so hope to have that done and painted by the weekend so I can move onto finishing the base and making some realistic water using some clear silicone and paint mixed which other items which should be interesting.

Near the end of the trailer they have to show "Look! Look here it's not just white dudes that work for us. They are people of colour, and women, and women who are *also* people of colour. Aren't we wonderful? Please forget that for years we covered up abuse in our studios" 🙄 Game looks OK-ish. F2P always make me apprehensive because you never know if they'll put all the best weapons behind pay walls or say you can "earn them in game" but it takes about 6 months of play to earn enough "Clancy Coins" (or whatever the fuck the pointless in game currency is going to be called) to actually be able to buy something decent. Or, you know, just spend £20 on one gun because you just know that Ubisoft will take the piss 🖕

So let me get this straight, people can go to nightclubs with no restrictions now and for the entire month of August in which wave 3 will hit but for September, club goers will be required by law to have a double-jab vaccine passport to gain entry!? The nightclub sector has been ignored for a year and a half and now all these knee-jerk decisions are being made. They could've easily been given 6 months to trial a gradual and controlled re-opening to at least garner some income but now they've seemingly been given 6 weeks to rake in the cash while cases rise significantly and then more business-threatening restrictions get enforced. Talk of football fans in venues of over 16,000 needing a vaccine passport too. Funny how nothing to this tune was mentioned about Wimbledon or Silverstone with both events having over 300,000 visitors but anyone going to Sunderland v Morecambe will have to jump through hoops to get in.

Loadsamoney😉 Having tried VR racing I'd probably go for that if I had the urge.

well there will certainly be a visual downgrade but if your next option is to give at least double that then it's more enticing, but we will have to wait and see until it comes out how it truly performs, i really hope it becomes a viable cheaper alternative to giving 1000-2000 for a full tower pc

Hate to say it but Arsenal have already made some decent signings. Spurs look like they're in for some good transfers too. However Liverpool and Man City for me will be the two battling it out. Man United are still a bit off I think and Chelsea don't give me and confidence in their signings last summer.

So, yeah... if anyone wants to buy me one of these, I'll gladly accept! lol I think this thing will be huge. I can see people doing all sorts of things with this. Should be interesting!

Had a blast, cheers guys! Had some great battles with @Lurch and @crispymorgan , can see it being a tough season! I definitely need to get more race practice in, bottled it on a few occasions when coming close to others, particularly a big torpedo into James on the second race...

Ya, was good fun. Just highlighted even more how hopelessly shit I am, even noobie @Kurt even beat me! For me personally, it got a bit late. I get up at 4 on Fridays so finishing after 10 is a no go. Is there any way we can shorten the night?

Really great racing last night chaps!! Lee was super fast in the second race. Shame Phil is now going the way of torpedo-Mike, although I'm secretly really proud. Nice to see a pretty full grid past night too, and I hope that stays because it keeps a good level of racing across the field.

honestly with the prices of the gpus and cpus this seems like the best thing if you want to play pc games for the foreseeable future without selling both of your kidneys, now if you could hook it up to your monitor and use kb/m that would be swell
