Probably, afterall people push back on the over zealous health and safety departments, I know we do. Celebs and the media have been terrible through this whole thing, post one thing do the opposite, people bashing on about how restrictions should continue then sticking their smug faces up at either Wimbledon or Wembley, oh and the excuse that they are either double jabbed or passed a test rubbish. That was the criteria for being at the festival of speed I've just returned from, bare amounts of checks basically I flashed a QR code at gate staff, could have been anyone . Being there you wouldn't have known what we went through this past year and a half. Face coverings only required indoors. I do believe things had to be relaxed, I do believe there will be some good things, positive things that come from what's happened but having worked through it all people do need to take responsibility, I don't know why some seem to need to be told everything all the time.

Yeah I'm proud of the team, young team just ran up against an experienced, cynical and pretty good Italian team, at times we bossed the game, but at times they bossed the game. Huge character of those guys to volunteer for taking penalties. Despite the disappointment very excited for the World Cup. Did you see most of the team removed the medals as soon as they were out on them. 18 months time we will have grown again !!

Something to always remember, no matter how painful or difficult the aftermath is. Makes me proud to be from England.

A couple of things so far we have to try to be balanced over... This is in a nutshell the positive angle to be behind. I'll keep standing by Gareth Southgate regardless of what he does now, with 2 semi finals and a final to his name. And whilst i'm excited like yourself, its about being balanced that we don't just immediately go and put the biggest pressure on a group of lads for the biggest tournament in football that is 18 months away. We have to be extremely lucky to win out of all the teams that try to go to the World Cup. I'm sure we'll give it our best shot....we have to stay grounded and getting to another semi or final would be amazing, winning it is the pinnacle. I just hope if we don't have the greatest time at the next World Cup, I hope people will see its not the biggest catastrophe on the planet (thats more attached to not qualifying for a WC, etc) - we have just been to our second final, not in 55 years, but in the whole history of football!! Once we're doing that consistently like Italy, Germany, Spain, etc we can then start to remove that stigma of anxiety and failure.

We all have our opinions on how the team should be set up. Football Manager has ruined countless relationships since the 90s 😅...but I won't second guess the manager who finally got an England team to play together. I'd say the future, and the World Cup looks bright 🙂

This should be an interesting watch I remember when I was in secondary school and he was filming at one of the local pubs down the road from me. I didn’t know who he was at the time but he caused quite a buzz around and even bought a pasty from our corner shop apparently!

It's so sad to see the condition he's in these days, but at least he's still around and still keeps going. I think his portrayal of Jim Morrison in the movie "The Doors" to date was probably one of the best performances of any actor I have ever seen in my life.

I want to see that but don't have Prime. Hopefully there will be some other way to watch it so I can see it. I feel the same about Pratt. He's probably one of my favorite actors now. Something about him just seems really genuine which makes him come through as someone that is probably a really nice guy. Kind'a the same as Patrick Swayze use to seem to me.

Exactly that - he made no one take a penalty, and then tries to take the heat off them - top man Southgate. Aynone who is second guessing him know was probably thinking he has a genius after 2 minutes when his wing back switch and Trippier for Sako switch looked a masterstroke.

I think they did volunteer and GS said he chose them to take the heat off them. This is the manager stepping up for them as he really does know what they're going through! This is a young, evolving team with a tactically astute manager blessed with man management skills much superior to his predecessors. Two semis and a final in the previous 3 tournaments... Just need to make that final jump which I think will be at Euro 2024..another SF in Qatar is my prediction and I'd be happy with that with this young squad

I believe they did volunteer as all did, however Gareth chose the line up based on training - something other managers didn't do in the past and thats why we got beat multiple times. We can believe whatever narrative we all want to believe in, I might just share a few facts to help bring context and balance for the people thinking that the line up wasn't the right choice but why Gareth (and myself) believed in it. When we beat Columbia on penalties heres the takers, and the outcome just to help: Kane scored - Aged 24 Rashford scored - Aged 20 Henderson missed - Aged 28 Trippier scored - Aged 27 Dier scored - Aged 24 And a stat based on Roy Keane's view: Regardless what happens though, we all know penalties are the cruellest way to lose. Its virtually pot luck and has no relevance to the game that was played beforehand.

I think England did very well getting as far as they did tbh. It's a shame they conceded that goal to Italy last night and at times they didn't look all that professional but I think Southgate has achieved more with this team than most have in decades and that gum he chews on every match must be broken down to a molecular level by the end of the game 😄 Feeling a lot more confident for the World Cup after this tournament, the team have shown a lot of potential.

The hoarding thing was some next level cuntery. In a display of stupidity not seen since humans were still tadpoles, everyone decided that fuck everyone else, their needs are more important. What the fuck do you do that you need 600 rolls of loo paper? How thick do you have to be to think that a) people haven't been wiping their arses without bogroll for thousands of years and many still do, every fucking day, and b) that we're going to run out of the stuff? I mean, I've not even finished high school and I could've told you that had it gotten to that point, people would be cashing in like motherfuckers to make the stuff. A literal gold mine of arsepaper. Oh, of course bogroll is only domestically manufactured because nobody's gonna pay for a shipping container of a product that only achieves about £5/ton but no, we're all gonna run out and we must buy all of it as much as possible and fuck that old lady in the aisle who's clearly struggling and needs it more than you because China's having supply trouble. I ended a lot of acquaintances because of that, and I think I unfriended about 100 people on Facebook because of it too. Selfishness is one thing, being as intelligent as a retarded crab is another, but both combined? @Diddums A very well written and true post. I work in retail on a shop floor. I lost faith last year in March on the original lockdown. Simple rules like distancing and following a one way system between aisles so people aren't making face to face contact. Folk be strolling in the aisle the wrong way, "Oh Sorry Mate Didn't know, As They Grab Their Shit" There was fucking markings on the floor and tape everywhere. Even individual boxes for distancing. Some people queuing patiently at the top of the aisles to get supplies for their families. Some arsewipe cutting in. Jumping queues and playing dumb at the checkouts. Don't get me started on restrictions. People would grab their quota and comeback later for more, and or send in their spouse and double up on limits. Hearing customers boosting to someone that they have been to 4 or 5 shops already and have an online order coming later. I even heard 2 woman chatting about using baby formula for having with their tea and coffee in the caravan holiday during travel bans. Because the marvel had run out. The country up and down is fucked up because of the unreasonable people that reproduced and taught them to be cunts. I missed out on all 3 scans for my baby last year. Yet 6 different households were able to meet at the pubs. Some people haven't even had jabs, others still waiting on a 2nd. People have given up and sick of it all. Can't blame some of them, look at the people making the rules like Matt Hancock, Boris, Dominic Cummings. That bint of a Scottish healthy secretary. It starts from the top. Idiots and terrible role models. I want to believe the world would be a better place. It's just not!

This virus has killed a lot of my faith in humanity. I always knew that people could be cunts, but there was always that little bit of optimism that it was a phase, a bad day, a bad mood, whatever - and that these people are actually generally nice people. But seeing what a scene people make when asked to wear a mask, social distance, or just generally respect the health and wellbeing of those around them has killed any optimism I had. I've sadly come to the realisation that a large part of our society is filled with gibbering retards who think that the slight discomfort of a mask is more important to them than the safety of those around them, regardless of any conspiracies or bullshit. If people are dying, and it might or might not be a virus, but you can help eliminate a part or all of the risk by simply wearing a mask, then fucking do it - the end. But nope, we won't be told, I refuse to be told by anyone what to do, the adult equivalent of "you're not the boss of me nanaaanaanaaanaaa". Just look at all these idiots who must absolutely go on holiday, and then whinge like little bitches because they have to quarantine when they get back. How utterly selfish are these people? By far my favourite however are the "I don't need to social distance or wear a mask because I've had both my jabs" - congratulations on telling the world that your education has failed you spectacularly. Please enjoy wearing the invisible "I'm an idiot" label that the less-stupid parts of society have stuck on your head. As someone who's worked through the whole thing, lost his job because of it, lost his gran during (note: not because) it and was unable to visit his mom and give her a hug after she just lost her mom, seeing the utter disrespect and arrogance of many people around me is fucking depressing. As much as it kills me to say it, I do honestly believe that this virus is doing the world a favour. It's just such a shame that so many good people are being taken along the way. I think I need a little ditty to cheer me up, fuck me that was depressing to write.

Believe it or not there's actually some guys that are upping the lipo cell count and motors and hitting 160-170mph. Wayyyyyy too fast for my taste though. I'm sure 85 will be more than I care to hit with my 50 yr old eye sight lol
