So this monstrosity of an update for the PS4 has utterly balls'd up all the party chats you could have or see. On the face of it, it looks like you can't have chats on your own, or see any of the other chats going on so its extremely hard to just pop in and say hi or see whos available to jump in to a game with. I'm more frustrated because at a time we're all struggling with very little social contact these days, this only further restricts. Don't get me wrong, if I want to talk to someone, like say @phil bottle, i'd create a group between me and him and then connect to voice chat. No one else though would see i'm in a chat - fine if sometimes you don't want to be disturbed - but not cool if you're happy for people to pop in and say hi, check hows things are, oh and maybe join the game that we're playing? I have an idea though until they patch the silly system (we hope). I'm going to throw out a number of Groups that will show that i might've added you to it. In doing so, its not to spam you with messages (I can do that many other ways already 😏) but more to try and help find ways to group up with people. From what I can see it looks similar to discord where you create a Group or 'Channel', only thing you need to be on the list to access it, either for text or voice chat, otherwise you won't know you're missing out. I was gonna make a few on the lines of....: FG Fridays FG Chat 1 FG Chat 2 FG Chat 3 FG Destiny Room 1 FG Destiny Room 2 etc If you want to not feel on your own and happy to be in a chat where some/all of us can join in and say hi let me know your thoughts. As I don't want it to be forced, you can always remove yourself from it the chats yourselves. Before you do though just ask yourself - how much you genuinely rely on the chat service on being able to just pop in and say hi? You might not realise it but you're probably making someone's day by just doing that. Any thoughts ASAP would be great to have below. Cheers.

First look at the UI for the PS5! What's everyone thinking??

Was some pretty good races this week. First race for me was a proper struggle considering I had never seen the track before let alone turning some fast laps. Only managed to get one good lap in right at the end of quali which still ended up being nearly two seconds down on Greebs. After a poor start in the first race it was a good race with @Mikepjbell where we each had sections which we excelled at but mike did well winning our duel. second race was pretty much the same with positions reversed between me and Mike and a soundtrack provided by Lee having a driving meltdown 😂 The last race was brilliant for me!! Seemed to hit a good groove on that track considering the horror that I had had the previous week. Like Lee said I think consistency really won the day. Need to work on the range of cars I can use as I’m struggling to use anything that doesn’t have a strong front end which is a trade off because I’m struggling in a straight line.

Note to self, all @Diddumsparty chats I am involved in, will be recorded 😂 I'm not happy about that whatever form it takes...but then I'm old school and hate prying eyes or ears in my business🤗

Well, I just turned my PS4 off because of it. They've completely fucked the chat system so trying to talk to your friends has become harder than trying to get Rachel Riley to show us her tits. I'm just sick of the PS4 to be honest, every time I log on there's some bullshit. Update this game, update that game, update the software, can't chat to your friends, I think I'm done with it tbh, and if Sony fucks about with the PS5 like they are here then they can refund that too. Sony: the best people for fixing things until it's fucked.

Good idea. I mean the system would be fine if they just had a private or public option... literally all they need to add to fix it. Not sure what they were thinking

Haven’t started the garage, might make a start tonight if I’m on. I think we’ll slowly start to build separate rooms for forges, campfires etc We should section off the forges so we know what a forge should be smelting. @Plumbers Crack has made a start to a massive garden, the plan is to garden over the entire roof and put bar up all around the base to protect the crop. Theres a shed load of work still to do but you guys have made great progress so far! In other news: I’ve now unlocked tier 5 quests, I know this will make @GazzaGarrattvery happy 😂
