Quick lil' update, I arranged an RMA for Dave on and he sent his PC off on Monday. They checked the mobo with various CPUs and had the same issue consistently, so they replaced the motherboard, reinstalled the CPU, applied the overclock again and sent it out yesterday. They tried to deliver it today but Dave's off to see some family so he's going to try pick it up tomorrow from his local depot. Happy endings and all that 🙂

But seriously, good going @Diddums, the plumber would have been up shit creek otherwise. I know he's used to that but you have saved a lot of hassle. Had it been my PC that happened to, I would have been raging.

Yeah the sad thing is, we only wanted a standalone version so there was no need to run it off Arma 2, a standalone where they could fix the bugs, that's all. It was almost perfect, other than the zeds running through walls sometimes and leg breaks while climbing ladders. And desync [emoji41] The mod got me back into gaming, it was that special. I had that same feeling around the plot. It was like having a decent war film journey but I haven't a clue on what I'm actually trying to do, other than stay alive and beat ze germans. Good take mate.

I'm a bit late but I finally got round to watching Fury. Strange film, some very unrealistic content, never mind the ending. Good performances by the cast, definitely, but I found the story, what there was of it, confused as to what it was trying to convey. The horrors of combat from inside a tank? The horror of war in general? What war can make a man do? A tale of innocence rudely shattered? The germans like running at bullets? Not a clue. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
