  1. I hope this is a return to form for COD. I do like the series but it's gone way downhill since BO3 (the last decent COD). Chances are Activison will fuck it up. They always do. They always go full retard. No mention of the F2P bit that is supposedly coming.

    What do you do?

ONLY GONE AND GOT THE FUCKING JOB BOYSSSSSSS!! Just had a call saying they'd like to offer me the job. They said am I sure I want it as its a big pay cut from what I'm currently on and I said yes 100%, as I want to get into IT. My mate who works there said struggle for a year and then after that you have the qualifications and you can work your way up, which I totally agree with. My girlfriend is very understanding also, as this means I won't be able to save for a house for a year, but says my happiness comes first 😄 So happy! They just need to contact my references which should be fine, then wait for a formal job offer letter, by which I can then hand in my notice and start my 1 month period before leaving. So chuffed!!

    Dauntless

Information about Dauntless Developer(s) Phoenix Labs Publisher(s) Epic Games Engine Unreal Engine 4 Platform(s) Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One Release May 21, 2019 Genre(s) Action role-playing Mode(s) Single-player, multi-player Dauntless takes place in a fantasy setting, where a cataclysmic event has torn the world apart, releasing monstrous creatures known as Behemoths that prey on the surviving humans. Players take on the role of Slayers to take down Behemoths, collecting loot that they use to craft and upgrade weapons and equipment as to take down larger and more powerful Behemoths. While hunting, the game plays as a third-person action game; the player uses a combo system to attack the creature, while monitoring their own health and stamina gauge. Such hunts can take upwards of twenty minutes of in-game time to complete. The game can be played both as single-player or cooperatively with up to four people. Dauntless vs. Monster Hunter: World- Dauntless is a less hardcore, more friendly monster hunting game. The combat is less rewarding, but still fun to execute. The monsters feel less alive, but still interesting to fight. The art style of Dauntless really sells a more interesting fantasy world than Monster Hunter: World’s realistic dinosaur look. Dauntless is vibrant, cheerful, and relaxing to play in the opening hours. It’s the perfect starting point for a player interested in monster hunting or for someone who just wants to hang out with friends. Dauntless also has something new to play and check out every few weeks. But Monster Hunter: World is still the king monster hunter when it comes to skill and game play. It can be very frustrating, but taking down a Tempered Deviljho is more satisfying than anything we’ve felt in Dauntless so far. The skill it takes to defeat that beast is something players only gain after dozens of hours in game and a lot of investment. That said, Dauntless just came out, and we haven’t had a chance to hit the late game yet. The choice between the two comes down to accessible and fun for Dauntless, or difficult and more satisfying for Monster Hunter: World.

    Arcade Club Leeds

This place opened up yesterday. It's much closer and easier to get to for myself. I didn't go for the opening as I gather for the first few weeks it will probably be heaving. Now it's up and running, I'll be heading there with my Dad and girlfriend once we've got enough money together. Is anyone else planning to make use of this venue?

  7. This is most likely be far bigger news than the upcoming Season of Opulence. This is the first ever Bungie will be going it alone proper and something tells me this will be a pretty big announcement. For some reason i'm feeling like they are going to release some content that we either 1) don't expect or 2) did expect but we'll get it for free. The Annual Pass was a killer for a lot of people and I think they need to see how it compares to other games that are in the market. With the new CoD not having a season pass, I think they'll have to look at Eververse and see what they can do with that - I also think with how they are remodelling Eververse, I'm pretty comfortable in them charging what they want to in that space. Overwatch has done it for years with random loot boxes so allowing direct purchases for what you want is fine and hopefully supports the game better. The head of E3 is also meeting them an hour for a live discussion after their reveal just under a week after this (June 11) so its really heading for some large positive news - just at a time when it needs it the most.

  9. The PC base was always small because of shitty ports. If it's a console port again then I don't see that changing too much. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

  11. Agree with a lot of that mate. Good news is that Competitive loss points now don't mean anything towards the Crucible Pinnacle Questin Season 7 as its all about the points. Good move I say as its gut wrenching to have one good night followed by a terrible one and feel like playing teh previous day was pointless. No sparrows still in Mercury is ridiculous. They said they were looking to do it but i'm sure they said just before Forsaken they wanted to but because of priorities content was more important than this. I get that but you still sit here i think there must be another reason why its restricted. The new 6 player activity i'm hoping for less mechanics, more just all out fun in a party of 6. I think thats where they should angle so raids can be mechanically challenging sometimes. Weapons is an interesting one. I know if i didn't force myself to try out something else when the sandbox changes came out I would've just stuck with my loadout. I'm finding this time round there is more variety that can work for you but like all shooters, cod, battlefield, etc, its all down to your playstyle and attitude to try out stuff. I know on CoD MW i barely change guns when i've found one that i'm half decent with. Gunsmith totally agree. Even with the new bounties coming next week to buy from him, i'd love to see Armsday come back as the underlying code and details of Armsday has been in the game somehwere for quite a while.

    Rage 2

It's actually a really good shooter and a lot of fun. Sounds great (admittedly I have turned down the music) and feels great. Top tip: if you go to the last geezer and do some of his missions, there's a perk that enables you to view all the data pads and loot really easily.

  15. No specialists this year thank god - instead it's Operators. Still not 100% clear on how it will pan out but I assume it'll be like 'create a character' rather than class. This is where microtransactions (cosmetic only hopefully) will be pushed most I bet.

  17. I've gone from "couldn't give a fuck" because of Blops 4, to "you have my attention". Apparently the game looks stunning because of the new engine. Campaign is supposed to be realistic and really quite brutal. It honestly depends on what they do with MP. All maps are going to be free. If all the in game purchases are cosmetic only then I'm fine with that. Via the FG App

  22. Im pretty vocal on comp PvP especially as mentioned solo v teams but that could be due to player count. I still think the penalty for a loss is too much and the grind to great, I get that stuff shouldn't be given away but at least make it feel like more casual players have a shot. Destinations, I haven't been in the dreaming city or the tangled shore for anything other than random strikes( which I have enjoyed grinding) for ages, don't see the need. I'd actually rather flesh out a few less destinations especially terrible ones like mecury, wtf no sparrows! I'd like to see raids more fun and less mechanic heavy tbh since late desriny one I really haven't been bothered to do them I want to have fun when gaming not be a professional sweat, I could care less about world's first just make it fun. Weapons mostly pointless not since early d1 have I had a need to look further than my usual loadout for pve and PvP other than to do triumphs, in PvP especially change stuff up likely outcome you get destroyed. I remember in d1 changing weapons mid activity as it was beneficial now I have whole weapon types I never use. Most weapons are vault trophies. Gunsmith pointless.

    Game of Thrones

I’m going to go against the grain here and say I actually enjoyed this season. It was far from perfect, it was rushed, there were a few wtf moments but no more so than other seasons. However overall, the actual plot points, I enjoyed and was happy with the ending. Now where’s that change my mind meme when you need it.

    Dauntless

So I own both MHW and now decided to give Dauntless a try. While MHW is a complete experience Dauntless is a surprisingly fun time and with way less setup. (Do you only have 30 minutes to play? Well you can get 3-4 hunts in) Best of all, ITS CROSS PLATFORM! That means us PC members can play with any console members at anytime, use in game voice (or Discord) and kill some things. I'm not typically very good at monster fighting, souls game-esque where you learn attack patterns and so on but I have to say I am digging this after one night. We should all pick this up. (It's free)
