Ghosts was awful, i hated almost everything about that game. MW3 was one of my favourites, i know they'll some how ruin MW4 because it's what they do best now. What i'd honestly rather they did is remastered games like Blops2 and MW3 and forget about this shite franchise. Blops4 is awful, they've suckered people in to thinking that's it's ok to pay full price for a game that is basically a few maps. The fact that there is no campaign is a joke! The one slightly redeeming factor would have been to play blackout with friends in a custom game, which you can but whats the point if 12 of you are playing on a map that's designed for 100 people? No one thinks about anything any more, they just churn shit out and throw it at people and everyone gobbles it up. Everyone raves about battle royale, which by the way is free on most games but that is their main selling point on this game. I can't deal with buying into this franchise any more, the only thing i like about these games is the zombies but i'm not paying £60 for a zombie game. I also like our custom games but again i'm not paying that much for us to play custom games once every 4 months. I'd just like to thank all the companies that have ruined one of my favourite franchises, they've done a fantastic job. 10/10 for lack of effort an imagination.

The core game is fine but it has a limited presence on Twitch and most YouTuber's have long gone back to Fortnite. Microtransactions seem to have driven a huge amount away and the Black Ops pass content will drive another wedge. Then there was this released a couple of weeks ago COD games have struggled after Christmas since Ghosts. Even Blackout seems to be getting tiresome for many and that's because it had no forwarding strategy in place unlike Fortnite. The whole product is rushed and re-releasing old maps and then re-releasing them again with different weather or time of day isn't going to keep people on board doing the same things they've been doing for over a decade. If a COD is doing badly, they start hyping up the next one and monetizing the hell out of the current one before the shareholder payout - both boxes have been ticked so my guess is BO4 ain't doing all that good.

It's missing an option. None. That said, Ghosts 1 was probably one of the worst COD's I've played and I enjoyed MW3, so.

You have to do some specific tasks to begin with. The story at this point centres round your intro to the world and you are partially enslaved. Trying not to give too much detail here as I'd rather not spoil the story. Your tasks at the beginning are all about freeing yourself and the game introduces you to all it's particular mechanics during these missions. What do you reckon? Senior comms manager shared this today. Experts say MW4 but many comments think it's leading to an ending for Ghosts 1 story. I'd rather see it be MW4 than Ghosts 2 as that storyline was pure quality back in the day and never had the chance to play MP much at all.

I had bought a Nacon rev pro 2 controller in October. It lasted 2 months before the L3 and R2 stopped working. Needless to say, I was pissed. I really liked having buttons on the back of the controller for remapping. FYI, DONT BUY NACON! In any event, I was on Amazon and came across this strikepack from Collective Minds. It basically gives you 2 remappable padels on the back of a stock DS4 controller. There’s also mods you can get for certain games, but I haven’t nor plan on using them. I’ll recommend this this to anyone that doesn’t want to drop a shitload of money on a SCUF or custom controller. It was $50 CDN, $40 US. And to have the extra paddles on the back of a stock controller made my friggin day.

I like the ballsy attitude as it would be cool to see something new enter the market. You've hit the nail on the head though mate, they must have some top USP or guaranteed AAA title makers on board to say this. I imagine it won't be long until we get 120 FPS on tv's as standard. Maybe a bit longer for affordable ones. 😂

Ah cool, thanks for the heads up Phil and Brede. I watch a lot of Byf in the past and hes started doing some lore videos on Warframe so that might help me get into the main story first then. As you said Brede, as the game has developed so much now I know there's many avenues to follow...Just gotta pick one with your guidance! What phil says. The game was alot different when we started out, and we had to do certain quests/missions to unlock the next planet etc. Best way to not lose yourself is to team up with someone that knows the game. Also there's a test you have to do to rank up your master level. They get harder as you level up.

Doesn't matter to me, I won't be buying it.

Pretty pointless I'd say. Unless they have bottomless pockets and give it away for free. SEGA couldn't cope with the demands of the console market and even Microsoft didn't come good until their second effort. Mad by name, mad by nature. If you think about it also; the red dot reticle costs more than Warframe which is an entire game. That's how fucking stupid Call of Duty and this industry has become.

Is BO4 bombing that badly? I really don't think it's a bad game at all, the Black Ops series out of all of them is something that we should at the very least acknowledge they have parts of a solid game. @Brede and @Phil - nah, we're gonna get one, whether you want it or not!

I actually didn't mind Ghosts. The campaign was solid and I quite enjoyed the MP. Some of the maps were huge and it seemed like the game was supposed to be 9v9 but they couldn't get it to work. Siege(mentioned above) was actually a decent map but it was just a bit too big. Same with Stormfront. I'd rather have Ghosts 2 as the game ended on a cliffhanger. But we'll get MW4 as there is no originality left in COD any more.

Black Ops 4 bombing so badly they're having to hype the next COD already🤣 Ghosts was the beginning of the end and a terrible brand. There was more people still playing BO2 than on the 1st weekend that Ghosts was released and it was the game which made Activision start covering up player counts. after that. The maps were dreadful or simply far too big - Siege, Chasm, Stonehaven and Freefall remain some of the worst ever in the franchise plus things like the dog, IED's and other things just made it a horrible experience. I'd rather they left Modern Warfare alone too as I don't want that brand having its memory tarnished any more. I do think it'll probably be MW4 though and the 'leak' is more of a red-herring. A lot of the staff that worked on COD 4 and MW2 who left for Respawn have returned to the studio so it would be ideal if they jumped back into a brand in the series they knew rather than try and salvage something out of Ghosts. *Just read that Jason Schreier from Kotaku who has sources in the industry says it's not Ghosts 2 so that's a relief and logical. Franchise is a joke now though so no matter what they do, as soon as microtransactions are added, the game is done for and the honeymoon is over.

That's disappointing to hear as we were looking forward to watching it when we got back. May just watch a re-run of shows from the beginning instead.

It's ok if you collect it, I got a full set from previous emgrams before playing, the weapons suck imo only did it as I wanted the emgrams and I like PvP.

I wouldn't have said that a week ago. They've been getting through games when they shouldn't be for the past 10 games. I'm willing to give them a little longer to see if they go back to their usual selves. Blackburn ended a 5 winless streak with a fine win against West Brom. We've deserved more points if games finished at 80 minutes. It's great to see us still playing well, I'm happy even though we could've been in the playoffs easily by now if we could hold onto games. Sheff Utd I think could still turn up as the surprise automatic promotion team. When the beat teams, they hammer them. Bloody Billy Sharp.

It will run rampant in a lot of games before anyone bitches about it. The gaming community did this to themselves showing how easy it is to make billions off of micro transactions.

Looking good for next year. I'm most excited about dipping into VR. Ace combat looks amazing, and I can't wait to try Dirt rally in VR. Beat saber, surgeon simulator, the list goes on. I've grown a bit tired recently of game studios spending longer working out how to extract money from gamers than building the actual game. Some solid titles there to prove that the PS4 ain't dead yet.

I’ve started playing some Clash Royale on my phone recently and am enjoying it. There’s no building bases so you can constantly attack and gain new cards whilst upgrading others. I’ve set up a clan, FG Warriors. Anyone is welcome to join! Once we have enough we can enter clan wars and start winning tings.

Don’t forget to keep some love for the old game though!

Nice time @phil bottle I don’t know how much time manual will find you but it is quicker. If you can get used to manual then things are going to get tight at the front. Apologies for not posting a new combo yesterday, I got home too late and just needed sleep. I will roll the randomiser when I’m home and post the combo.

I think that 1:39.692 is maybe the best I'm going to do while driving automatic, I can shave a coupe of tenths off but i don't think I'll make the 1:38s. I'll spend the next week just driving in manual and see how I go.

Haha that isn’t a bad tactic, unless you use a car that is faster with BoP enable than not. I might have to try that though, see if I can set an even faster time.

I was getting in the 1:39s last night when I had a go with the VW. Still on Automatic. What I do now, is: 1. one decent lap without BOP enabled 2. use the ghost from the car above but switch back to BOP 3. follow the faster car and try and work out where I'm losing time 4. hey presto, better lapping
