One week to go. Regardless of whatever comes next, these Showcase events are always a joy to watch, very similar to watching Marvel trailers and deep dives into upcoming titles. And it definitely is worth talking the moment out of your day if you can watch it live for the experience alone.

Call of Duty: Vanguard Alpha begins August 27th. Only on PlayStation

Any addition was obviously going to be connected into the new 'hub' of Call of Duty ever since they created Cold War and MW user interface to be connected as one. I'd actually think we need whatever update is coming to be connected to Warzone as thats their future. Lets just hope it isn't a waste of space campaign or additional MP part.

Of course, I was following the best advisors and saying what they say so had to be said 😬🤣 I've really enjoyed the team thingy as myself and James @Lurch have talked through a few races which was fun to help to each other through. I suppose you need a little more 'activity' to make it really fun though, for instance we had a few liveries but not many for it (totally get why as they take an age sometimes but it would've been more fun to share and get people going). I'm a fan of sticking with one car as it will add to the excitement and imbalancing through the races. Yeah, totally with you. Its the one constructive feedback I gave without a solution as you can imagine I couldn't think of one! It would keep many of the other people that arguably are at the lower end of the grid really excited and into it each week. Can we have the oval 20-30 lap race please in the season @phil bottle?

After 2 games no team in the entire Championship have a 100% win record. I think this year may have some random teams pop up in the top 6 at this rate already.

Been a great second season and seeing around 8-12 people each week has been good attendance. My thoughts are in no particular order: One race rather than two races for league. I would prefer two but I don't think we have enough availability every night for people to play 3-4 hours of GT. We need to find a way to keep the numbers nearer 12-16 each week as the racing is then through the entire field. One race would probably help or playing 2 each fortnight and having a week off 'league racing' could help that. Manufacturer idea was great and keeps many people closer than we expected. However, only part that I think is a constructive point on this, from a personal note, is it hindered me getting into the top 3 many times, purely down to lack of pace in our choice of car. One manufacturer is easier for newer and people that play less than the regulars to get involved. Weirdly, I think reverse grid would interest more people and give more challenge all around I think but not sure how to implement it as Qualifying is something I love doing and seeing (equally shouldn't be technically punished for putting an ace qualy lap in). That's about it as it was a really good fun league again. All the above is trying to solve is more chances to get more people involved and enjoying themselves when being there. Endurace Race thoughts - make it a one off random day event separate to league. I don't think as many will want to try it out but leaves us with the ones that do. Plus, no impact to league element. an be like a mini-cup that we do every few months separate to the league....I think that would be pretty cool actually 😄

Great to see so many turn up, even if I assume it was a little last minute! It sounds like it made for two great races because of it so thanks for people to continue to turn up. I'm not overly down that the scores have ended up how they have as we've had many miss outs this season, with our team one of the most. So whilst it doesn't look tight lower down, @Lurch and me sit with 11.9 average score per FGer, per race whereas 2nd place @Mikepjbell and @crispymorgan sit 13.6. Only 1.5 points off which is virtually a place each on the finish line and it would be a different story. Consistency will always be king on this game though, and its good to have people as objectives to work towards to know you are getting better. @phil bottle a little premature to say good and constructive points, although I agree with one race per week as I think some struggle to make it all night on GT Sport. Sticking with one constructor has been fun though so far, even if it can be more challenging against your own team some weeks.

I think the key part to this is they would still need c.500 smackers to part with to make the code useful 😃 Many of the keen FGers seem to have one now in the UK and the others are saving up for one. Shame this doesn't help the Americans as I'm sure some of them are more in the space of wanting one but can't get hold of them.

This makes no sense to me but the fact it only needs Vanilla is insane that you can't get on. @Greboth @Misneach_ any ideas? Also, Tommy @BO7H B4RRELS get your shiny ass in here. You have no excuse now! and @Spacedeck , I'm sure we can figure something out to work together on!

Love this thread Chad @Riff Machine . Mine I think will always be Destiny for the foreseeable future. Its become it even more so 7 years since it started because of how its removed so much FOMO, so now I know I don't have to play it - and thats when I end up playing it once or twice a week. The shooting and objectives just end up being a very satisfying experience. Outside of that I seem to have settled into a routine with FIFA and GT Sport. Both are easy pick up and play games but what that does mean is I struggle to pick up others around it as life duties kick in on other nights. Nice to see an array of games above too. @Riff Machine @slamminbones what makes you pick Single Player campaign games? I struggle even more when I've completed a game when I was younger to replay it again. @Greboth @Plumbers Crack I want Minecraft to be one for me but I think I struggle with how its looked over the years without the rpg objectives my uncreative brain needs. Valheim could give me that itch though. I think both games can do that but you don't realise it until you're actually playing them. I miss R6 @The3rdWalker but know my mental capacity would struggle if I didnt play it twice a week. @J4MES OX4D what objectives can you do on Truck simulator games? @Spacedeck I think the key with mine is that they're shared experiences. When I gamed as a kid, I think it would then be linked to my personal life interests - so all the football games got serious playtime. Its not sad you don't have a million hours in one game, its great that you're still searching for one and are willing to try more games. I'm sure any of us could help get you hooked on one of our 'Go To' games 😎

They've kind of missed the window for DLC for me, although it doesn't mean they still can't rebadge it and sell it for full price with the Legendary Plus Super Extra Version. They are in a very lucky spot still as the game does get many players daily so its never fallen off the cliff edge, although the longer they leave it, the harder it is to pull new players in as they'll get trounced by existing players too quickly and not fall in love with it. I just hope they don't waste any PvE development that clearly must be there in some significant fashion. Huge waste of money if not and peoples Dev time if so.

It looked like L4D version 3 but worried it was a shallow game and it sounds like it is. I think if it goes down in price and people wanna try it could come on my radar but we've got things like World War Z that is 4 player and zombie killing levels anyway and that serves its purpose.

Really? Has it been confirmed? Thats utterly gutting to be honest. It makes me also think of when many of us say that they should all the time they need to get it right, and with this one I'm not so sure thats overly acceptable to be this late to the party. Overwatch has been out for years now and really hasn't received huge updates of any kind. A few of us still play it but to now be okay at the game I feel it has to become your main game otherwise you can't keep close enough rank to all your friends to be able to party up in competitive. And for some reason, I dont enjoy just playing Arcade as there's no real objective to unlock anything. With a 2 year delay, imo this now needs to be a fully fledged AAA PvE game and not what they said was going to be like an expansion pack for OW1.

It really is. The gap between Mercedes and Red Bull is closer than ever and now we start to see McLaren and Ferrari getting closer. Not to mention all the drama that unfolded at the last race, that was insane! Loved seeing all the different strategies and mistakes take place. I think Hungary keep getting lucky that either drivers have a real bad day and cause huge scenes or the weather can completely change what happens. I felt gutted for London after he jumped 3 places on the starting grid, only for Bottas to make his one and only mistake in his career on the starting grid. What a time to do it and take 4-5 cars out 😅 Looking forward to the next one already!

I thought that but they've only bought themselves an extra month, which in the gaming dev world isn't a huge amount of time to fix stuff. I imagine it has to be related to that as they've surprisingly received quite a lot of praise for this game so far.

My plan whilst I'm on holiday is try and sort my PC heating issues first before trying this again. I have the thermal paste so will look at it after going away for a few days.

Well done to all involved last night. 2 good races, seeing people do extremely well and the field is continually getting closer. @phil bottle fantastic pole lap mate. You deserved to be higher in that race. @Bluebear you are getting faster and faster which is great to see after so few races. @jordie1892 and @crispymorgan far quicker now you're trying with less TCS (and ABS on Jordie 🤣) @Greboth and @Mikepjbell as always being consistent through 2 races. For me, 2 main errors which cost me placing higher in the races. First race I shouldn't have pitted. I thought Phil, Mike and Crispy were on Mediums. Annoying, cos I was second and fairly comfortable just sitting behind Phil. 2 places lost based on other strategies. 2nd race I didnt stay consistent in Qualy. I shouldve placed second on the grid but stupidly made little errors that meant I gave a space to Mike. This in turn meant I was in too many battles with Greebs and Phil so gave me too much to do to catch Mike up at the end, albeit only 2 seconds away. Same old for me, I should be more aggressive closing gaps from people but I stick to racing lines and expect people to give me room. Might need to change my lines moving forward and use Radar alot more. GGs everyone. Not there next week which is a shame but holiday is calling.

I really like the way this map looks. Its also slightly smaller which may also be useful, given the fact I used to spend many nights just running from one point to another.

Over the years i've aksed FGers to help me understand what team I should follow but as there's never much buzz here I kind of miss when everything starts until I hear Superbowl is coming around again! How is the Fantasy Football league work? Is it quite difficult to do and do you need to start it soon at all? Could've been a good thing to help people here keep some interest in this egg hand chasing game.
