Oblivion was enough for me considering the worlds are bloody huge! I think I fancy Elden Ring's open world that looks like it takes some of the Skyrim vibes. What does the DLC's bring to it? More story or/and more magic, weapons, etc?

This and Halo are forming the view to ask Santa nicely for an Xbox soon. The reviews i've seen are great, and it looks like such a fun and chilled experience with so much to do. I'm really enjoying driving games lately with the likes of Gran Turismo, Wreckfest and Hot Wheels but feel Forza could make me stop playing all 3 until GT7 pops along. How many cars are in the total game?

It was a great game to see. Its been an age since we could actually say we have a team that will beat good teams and really punish the poor ones. The fact we have breezed qualifying just shows how well Gareth Southgate and the team have done in recent years. Mental to think the European Champions might not make the World Cup...feels abit like when Liverpool won the Champions League but only finished 5th in the league 😬

It'll be interesting to watch it for sure @Lurch . I wasn't a fan of Gorillaz back in the day but that was just cos of the music. It probably hits the spot right now if they can make the characters have some personality to get behind.

If youre comparing these two and others out atm, then BF2042 really isn't a bad buy at all. Looks like you don't get anything new for your money on this port.

I played an hour or so of the Network Test and it definitely is the real deal. Considering they made Bloodborne, its not surprising where most of the stuff has come from in the game, but they've added that 'world' feel to it rather than a small and, in some places, linear feel that Bloodborne has. I can see it being super frustrating, annoying, head bangingly crucifying due to the type of game it is - but it already feels like its way worth the money for a full AAA PS5 game. I think a basic tutorial on how the game works with controls would help when its released but let's face it, if you don't touch games like Dark Souls and Bloodborne then I guess you won't touch this. I'm not sure how much story will come clear as thats the only part i'd say doesn't feel to make much sense at all. However, that kind of pushes you forward to explore places, like caves and take on mystical enemies lurking on the World Map to see if it gives you any more insight into the world you've been dropped in. Character choice too is way more than I expected too. I think after the game comes out, I think they'll be in depth guides on how each build works with different playstyles. I picked the Magic Knight one which means you have a Health and Magic bar to work with, similar to what Final Fantasy was like. Looks to be a really interesting multiplayer mechanic too and i'm hoping that means you can summon quite a large group of people to help defeat large swarms of enemies. Let's just hope it makes it easier to understand than Bloodborne's version of co-operatively play! All in all, if this isn't on your 2022 list, then have a word with yourself. And if you don't know much about how this will play through? Then plenty of time to go and buy Bloodborne right now - its only £13.50 on Amazon.

Just seen online that the PC version has been unplayable for 3 days, not sure how much of that is true?

January Sales might be a perfect time for for it to get to that price I think.

We might be busy doing bits and pieces (there is soooooo much to do 😅) but we try to ensure that a few people get recognised to give them a big smile along the way. The FGFGF recently: As mentioned above, @Antpool84 has been a great addition to FG this year and whilst he's tried to get involved in many game nights, the storage has been holding him back for some time. Hopefully the 2TB external drive goes a little way to keeping his smile on his face. Huzzah! Equally, we never thanked @jordie1892 back in the day to help create and get the FIFA mini euro league up and running. To get over 40 matches done was immense considering we hadn't done anything like this before and as a gesture to one of the coolest FGers we have, some FIFA Points went his way so he can boss everyone on Ultimate Team in FIFA 22 😄 Finally, our resident Batman Chad @Riff Machine , has gone through a hell of a lot of late so it felt logical and common sense to perk him up with a few goodies below and some Steam vouchers so he can find something to enjoy on his PC. We're always here for you big man 👊 We have lots more to do, loads of ideas and thoughts to implement and we're nearing Christmas (a little too quickly, even for me), so where possible we should and must continue to make people smile with the FGFGF and keep donating when and where you can. Good news regarding the Standard DIGITAL version in regards to crossgen. This version (currently £69.99), will now include cross gen so you know don't need to buy the £90 "cross-gen" bundle which includes the season pass. I'll be getting the the standard version now it has cross-gen as we can always make a decision later down the line if the Season Battle Pass bit is worth buying. £20 saved which is nice unexpected surprise.

Not worth it due to the fact you also only get 10 hours between 12th-19th so its only a few nights of gaming.

Great advice @Docwagon , I've been very prudent over the last 10-15 years but that was more to survive rather than save. I think its also about where your life is too e.g. I could've saved when my kids were younger, but the middle-teen ages are quite tough as you have more new direct debits (phones, data plans, etc) alongside increasing existing ones (e.g. food, etc). I'm not putting myself under too much pressure to save a huge amount right now, more so focusing hard on when's the next time I can get rid of or decrease some direct debits. Also, this is ALWAYS about priorities, as we always have different ones depending who we are and our situation. Personally, don't be scared to cancel Netflix, Amazon Prime, Spotify, Disney, and any other rental plans for just one month. You would be surprised how much you can save and how much you don't really miss it. They're made to turn them off or on whenever you want so just do it! I cancelled my Amazon Music 2 months ago and i've seen myself use Spotify free version on my PC for a while and I've not yet come across a song I can't play. Equally the adverts don't bother me that much at all as they aren't after every song.
