I mean, I don't think the patch being delayed will change people's minds to hand over money for this shower of poop. Multiple patches need to be lined up if they're serious for this to work for them.

I did not know this and now I do, I wouldn't really want to invest time in it until I saw what they were gonna change it to. Tribes of Midgard is very similar in the sense it felt great to level up and try things out but before you know it the game is over and you have to restart. Not always a fan of games making you do this.

No, it won't make it harder because just like now, you can access the free raids and dungeons today and you buy the relevant pack for whatever raid/dungeon you want to play. However, the newcomer thing has always been an issue for Bungie because I can foresee if you were on your own and never playing much with a place like FG, then it would be had to pick up and understand - especially if you are invested in story. The rely, too much still imo, on existing players showing new players the ropes. Good news for you Ant, is we're here to do that 😄 but that doesn't mean that Bungie should do that moving forward. As we're semi stuck in the new development underneath D2 to make it easier for new content, I think the next big jump in experience for new players will be Witch Queen in February.

In a word, no. But two things bother the Destiny community and in many ways, Bungie keep doing this to themselves. You also have to take a pinch of salt the broad Destiny community on social media and reddit because if you spent every day on there, you could probably find the next drama event 24hours later! I said a while back I would do a breakdown for what you get for your money with the upcoming DLCs. Ironically, I haven't done this yet and this point shows why. Bungie have decided to move the Dungeons to a separate pack to purchase IF you don't buy the Deluxe Edition. So, no, its not more money as what we're paying for is what you will still get....but Bungie wanting to try and be the most actively open game company completely miss the ball when it comes to any communication regarding the monetization of Destiny. The second point is more so what people are buying and what timespan it has in the game. The Destiny Content Vault which is basically a fancy name for just removing older content and bringing back old content that has been improved, really doesn't sit well with people - even if they have either a) no intention of playing old content again and b) no one really ever owns any of the game in a live service (once the server switches off in years to come, thats it. Its done). The more I think about all of this is that in reality you just have to step back as an individual and ask yourself, will you get value for money out of what you buy next in Destiny. For pretty much everyone here, based purely on time spent, it will be worth the money as you'll always have something to do every single week that is varied within one game. You can't pay for it all now? Not a problem, buy a-la-carte for what you want...just know that if you buy it all individually it will cost a little more, which surely is to be expected, right? One last point to mention. People will say its a subscription based game already so just go to monthly subs. I can agree with the idea that it kind of feels like that, but I won't endorse moving to monthly subs only. You should be able to buy what you want, when you want and not have a bank account set up (cos it isn't just adults that play it) for all the content not be accessible if you don't pay your monthly X dollars on the next payday. Plus, there's just not enough content like how WoW on PC run a proper MMO - and even then some say they don't get value every single month. I do hope they can find a way though to get back permanently some old missions from D2 so new people can experience a better story to follow and we can have some replayability in it.

I think its a great discipline to get into, not sure I have the patience for it but I'm glad you're giving it a go and have so many positives so far. Daveydave @IPSWICH HIGASHI really stands by the values of Shotokan Karate and I wouldn't expect this to be much different. I bet you're using muscles now you never even realised you had before 🤣🤣 Have you looked into the rewards you get? e.g. belts, dans, etc? If you love it already you should at least go for the first one available if you can.

Well, first time watching Man of Steel a few days ago. Man, DC dropped the ball by losing Henry Cavill after the first few films. I've never liked Superman in previous formats over the years and because of how the character never seems to have much of a weakness but this film seemed to carry more weight about how he can be more human than superhero, which I loved. It felt like it jumped through some parts of his growing up, luckily I think there was enough of his initially birth and what happened there to him worrying about whether to officially show his face as a superhero to make up for that. Great film and such a shame we won't see him again as Superman after Justice League.

There's a really good chance we get to a point we won't have a AAA football game out like e've seen for a few years yet if FIFA are onlyt starting to look into broadening their horizons in the gaming industry. Interesting. Not sure how to feel about that.

I'm not sure if its too late as the season has started but i'm trying to think of ways to get more into NFL abit more and I'm thinking that to help me (and maybe others that want to learn too) that we could do a Fantasy Football league with some of you veteran NFL experts? I know we need a few names because there is a draft as part of the setup which don't really understand so if there is also someone to help me set it up that would be awesome. What do you reckon folks? Could be a decent laugh too as we set up each week against each other? 😄 I'll tag a few NFL people I can remember! @Antpool84 @Baabcat @Plumbers Crack @Jason @TigerBurge @G_dub52 @jordie1892 @Lurrchh and anyone else that wants to get involved for the lolz (and learning! 🤣)

I think free to play can be a frightful thing as you then worry in the opposite way that every bit of the game is broken down and charged for - however for a game like FIFA, that would work for many of us. I'm onlyinterested in Pro Clubs, so give me stuff thats available for that than any other gamemode. Hell, I probably would spend more money on it if they did offer options To customise that gamemode even more with kits, badges, etc. I think we'll get a taste of how this feels in UFL Football tbh...just hope it has similar gamemodes too.

Never heard of these although they look incredible. Funny though, because I find these are like an amazing, well presented posh dinner. You can apprecitae the presentation and effort that goes into it but that doesn't mean i'll like it! I wouldn't know where to start with these.

Yeah, there's actually 3 guns that you can farm for better rolls this Halloween event: Green Jurassic - Pulse Rifle Braytech Werewolf - Auto Rifle Horror Story - Auto Rifle Looks like my best drop so far is Rangefinder and Unrelenting on the Green Jurassic but its not as good as other things in the crucible curently. Also, the Dino gear can be bought for 6000 Bright Dust instead of Silver (real money) so I went ahead and got the Titan set. Its pretty decent, although I think the focused on the helmet more than everything else. The clawfeet do stand out though when I run about i've noticed! I made mine with Neon Pop Shader which I think makes him stand out more 😄 Make sure you also check the Bright Dust store section every reset. The Sparrow from Halloween is amazing - essentially a moving Spider when you drive around on it! - but you don't have to buy for silver as it goes on sale October 19th to October 26th you’ll be able to pick it up, again from the Eververse store, but for 2500 bright dust instead! I think MoreConsole enjoyed even more so but ngl, i'm with him!! (Video is only a minute long).

Great topic James @Lurrchh . What games have you used these on so far or is it more just for the D&D type of game? We thought about D&D a while back to try and play one day as we'd need a few large sessions to complete it all the way through but it didn't go too far. The winter might give us more time though this time round. I know that Elliott@Middle Class Caveman and Sarah @Rumelylady know a thing or two about this stuff and i think its a lot about giving some prep time to something like this. We could also stream it to which would be a fantastic demo for us all and others in FG that may be interested but not sure whats involved (like me!).

Ello Mr. @Greboth - did you get any further with these at all? Would be cool to have them as something to help people get started on Twitch with FG.
