  1. Well, its been 3 months since my Grandad passed away and its been very surreal time for me. For those that don't know, who haven't read my PPR, he was essentially my Dad. Lived with him all my life until I met my wife and always remained close to him. Without me knowing, you guys did what you always do best - you jumped to surround me, look after me when I felt quite lost and being great friends whenever I needed it. Exactly what you'd expect family to do. But you also gave me an opportunity to always have him remembered, by me, my family and everyone else that he helped along his journey. For that, i'll be eternally grateful to you all. The tree and plaque you all contributed to will be placed at the Cricket Club down the road from where we lived. It was where I played all my cricket through the early years and where he was right by my side. I wanted to put this up when I had the plaque in my hands (came Friday) and was very apt timing, because this Sunday the family met up for a special meal - his last wish rather than have his money spent on a funeral. It was a great day, and great memories made. Even better when I could show some family members what all of YOU guys and girls did. I didn't need more reasons to keep this place going but just when I needed it, its perfectly timed, like always. Thank You will never be enough. One last note is I want you to know that i'm getting better - He's always with me when we play. He sits below me, every night we game together and when I post on FG like right now. I'm going to keep it that way because he made me believe never to give up on things. Like this place. GGFG
  2. 100% agreed but his business model as gotten them this far, no need to update the nice bits we all want if they dont bring in more business.
  3. I suppose I just never have noticed it because it is such a clusterfuck of a map that whenever we've played on that map even in previous games I have literally no expectations from what comes out of it. I think its seeing the positive in the map - Great for shotgun medals and potentially some killstreaks for certain challenges.
  4. Glad that makes 3 of us 😃😂
  5. Awesome to hear Dave!
  6. Have you got any devs to respond to your views about bikes or helicopters @phil bottle?
  7. @IRaMPaGe clip was great, little clips like that are ace to send across to Rich but also what Rich says above is also true and probably easier cos then you don't have to 'time' it, just whenever the match has finished and you know you had a good one or two clips within it just save the last x minutes. You can trim it later on or split it using Share Factory on the Playstation.
  8. I get that....but the map is 6 x 6 inches in size. You can't take this map seriously, its just a fun clusterfuck for 60 seconds before the game is over super quick.
  9. Makes sense to me that he's probably achieved all the things he wanted. It is difficult to know where Rockstar will now go to be honest as GTA 5 holds up really well in the current industry. I feel they'll want for next gen and see what they can muster up. Ideally these days they need to focus on one game that can just keep giving out the content to gamers, but i can't think they won' be able to get the same feel like GTA 5 because the sheer amount of updates since launch make it a hard one to beat.
  10. I had that same feeling around the plot. It was like having a decent war film journey but I haven't a clue on what I'm actually trying to do, other than stay alive and beat ze germans. Good take mate.
  11. Shut up you hairy fanny. People still haven't got into their groove yet and it's only just turned Feb. You know where I am on Weds so pick a different day if needed. Get your head out of your negative arse and start doing something about it! 👊😘
  12. I personally think you've got to be in for the long game with Star Trek. It isn't all over the place series and that's okay for me. But get its not for everyone.
  13. Good game to watch from a neutrals POV. Great debut volley goal for the dutch Spurs guy.
  14. My only thought is wherever we all meet up, which is usually @Diddums house 😎 I'm not the best cultural person to follow for places to visit but I think its always worth a day out at the National History Museum. Also, do you or/and your kids like Harry Potter? Even if not, the Studios isn't far away from London and its incredible. Such a great day out.
  15. Wut? On Shipment? Just leave the map and spawns and everything on this map. Its a fun clusterfuck and nothing else. Although, I am super glad to spawn 4 inches away to where I was previously 👍
  16. @Greboth, i'll find a night on the diary for you to take me through reinstall and mod packs. I want to get Star Citizen sorted first with @phil bottle though, just to set expectations it won't be straight away 👍
  17. Were they checked when they got back into the UK?
  18. Like Little Big Planet but an upgrade. I don't know more than that. Like Rich says, if it supports multiplayer lobbies, than maybe.
  19. Patrick Stewart was the only reason why I really ended up watching Star Trek Generations and the films ages ago. I'm not a huge fan but do enjoy it nonetheless. I was a little like Phil and was worried it wouldn't be up to scratch as I still have the visions of him when he was younger. However, first episode in and it was a really good start. Plot line seems to hold up and seeing him show different emotions throughout that episode was really enjoyable. Looking forward to episode 2.
  20. When money is in a better condition then you have my word I'll look to buy it @Diddums. RTS is appealing to me for sure.
  21. Week 3 2020, Mon 27th Jan - Sun 2nd Feb IMDb Score - 7.7/10 Trailer Release date of 1991. Its a reputable film and one which is out there based on all previous picks. Hope you all try to give it a go, its not normally what I watch but i'll definitely give it a good go. It has Cuba Gooding Jr, Ice Cube and Laurence Fishburne to name a few actors.
  22. It's funny as I usually enjoyed these type of endings, although now reading your views I can totally see where you're all coming from. Its exactly what I hoped for from the film club stuff as i've now pushed myself to see the film in a different viewpoint as i can be easily swept up by americanised glorious endings. I still think it was a gritty decent film. Brad Pitt does play his role very well for me and i'd recommend the film to be watched by anyone that loves a war film. 7.5/10
  23. Horrible tragedy. Even more horrible that his daughter died too. Never really followed him but you can see everywhere around on social media the influence he has had on so many individuals. And a real gent too. You can't not ignore all the love that's poured out for him and his daughter. RIP.
  24. Kenny, just jump on tonight and whenever you get a triple or quad in a game, click the share button once, then on the menu that pops up click square and it'll save the last 10/15 minutes gameplay. It'll be in your gallery which you then select and can trim it down with a few clicks. Share to youtube or on usb and away you go. Do it tonight! Dont wait for tomorrow! P.S. You have the plays man, dont doubt yourself dickhead! 👊😎
