You know, I'm okay with this. I really am. If your K/D ratio in game means that much to you, go ahead and get this dick-enhancing swedish cock pump that also tells the time and K/D. People used to rage quit or leave because the standards of their teammates weren't up to scratch, thus making more games imbalanced while new players were found. It is infinitely better seeing a score and things like objectives make a clear difference in how you're doing in the match. Plus if they pay $20 for this it'll mean they can support the game a little longer which means i can get some more free stuff hopefully.

So has anyone tried Spec Ops since they released more maps/missions? How do they play since the update? I'm fancying to give it a go at some point and wondering if an FG squad have got the minerals?

Let's get your thoughts. Here's something new - i'm enjoying Destiny again. Wait, Lee enjoying Destiny? Tell me something I don't know. OK. There's a reason this time around that playing feels less anxiety riddled and more comfortable than the last few seasons for me. Power grind essentially isn't needed to be the main focus anymore. Its a great feeling because when you logged on previously whilst its easy to use that as the go to thing to help you work out what to play or do, it would be the only thing to be focused on. Initially there seemed to be a lot of worry about the roadmap which I understand. Everyone wants more and more and more content for basically the cost of 2 pints of lager and then want it all straight away - but what i found in my first few hours is that it was nice it wasn't all over in a second. Equally the grind to do the first few quest steps wasn't too bad or hard plus it took me places i hadn't been in a while (Mars and Tangled Shore). Sundial is a lot of fun and way better than the Vex Offensive from last season. Yes, based on the menagerie, which was the ideal thing to do because that was their best season of content by a mile. What I like more is these Obelisk things that are basically like vendors but open up after upgrading them a bit. That kind of 'reveal' was nice. Not in your face and not too hard to unlock. Makes me want to play more. I can't wait to play some of the story of Saint-14 and finally have some time free to go back and do other stuff such as raids and triumphs. I now feel like I have time to play other games alongside this rather than feeling forced to play it every single night. I think if more tried this knowing they don't have to play it every night, they'd feel the same as me. Whats everyone else feeling about it?

Granted, BO4 is way quicker and I think you end up getting used to wall jumping and boosts that it doesn't feel that bad for how that game was set out. I'd like to get some games with you mate @IRaMPaGe , would be interesting to see if its the usual issues you are feeling are more centered around sole players rather than in squads.

I've started watching WW2 in Colour on Netflix. Really enjoying it way more than I expected, the simplest of things like colour can really hook you in to a docu-series. Definitely interesting to learn how Hitler made mistakes as well as the Allies. Should've enjoyed History at school more.

Just thought i'd chime in now the new FG home has been here for over a week now to see what you think about how the articles section is working out? Please be honest and constructive as its new and it'll be good to know if its being used/not used, nice addition, doesn't work for you, not sure if it'll be used, etc. Also, if you have ideas on how to build on the articles section out into next year e.g. ideas for things to write up about or even if you want to write one, please shout up. I don't want this to just to be me again, you guys have some way more interesting words than me. Maybe even a series of some stories might be interesting and fun for people to get involved in? I appreciate any responses you've got 👍

Thanks for posting this up @techno . I've watched a few and its opening up quite nicely this season, better than expected. Datto's video helps but actually seems a little more to it as well with different upgrades to do on the obelisks and more to unlock over time.

I might look at it if its still available mate. I'm just looking into creating a Steam account for my son so he could try it out.

Didn't see this update, cheers for the share James. Replacing is probably because they don't want to split player count. But I still can't see any feedback anywhere to say why the standard mode wasn't working and OSP is better. Answers on a postcard, please...

This year's OW Winter Event is from December 10th to January 2nd. 3 separate week's worth of skins and sprays to get again. This time round it seems to have a slight variation of the snowball fight mode from last few years. Snowball Deathmatch will be a separate gamemode to choose in the Arcade mode. Also, noticed that Mei catches a snowball thrown at her - I'm not sure if that's just her ability or a common one for everyone which should be what's happening. I must admit although it's not really different to the last few years, I've always found the snowball fights to be some really good lolz with everyone. Could even be a great FG party night between us all the OSK (One Snowball Kill) about.

They do say your mind isnt ready to go to bed if you dont doze off within 20 minutes. Whilst reading is good another way is to 'reset' your body by getting out of bed and re-doing your going to bed routine. No, not turn on the PC and playstation and play for another 5 hours but just small things like going to the toilet, checking your lunch is done for tomorrow and locking up the house. You need to free your mind of other things that its thinking of to help it get in the mood to turn off. I'd also totally do @Middle Class Caveman idea of listen to rain. We've recently put on Alexa to play calming rainfall forest music and its brilliant. People do pay for a calming app out there but Alexa is cheaper after you buy an Echo Dot for your room.

I've not seen this survey and I'll go as far to say it's up there with the best CoDs we've had. Dont go slating it down straight away when I compare it to your favourites, I'm sure whichever CoD favourite is yours it has major issues which you raised at the time. Also that survey must be based at a small % of players that have traded the game in or something because its worded like they know for a fact they've stopped playing. Any game should send a survey out saying thanks for trying us, shame you stopped, let us know why please some can try and make it better. Hell, I did that a while back with FG. Always gotta get feedback to know how to improve no matter how bad OR good the game is.

It was worth a go Elliott. Abit double standards though to say migration was available (for an unknown period) and may be available again at some point (for an unknown period). For a company as big them they should be clear with dates and availability personally. I mean you do pay a subscription for this service every month so I'd expect their support to go abit further than that conversation.

Omg omg omg. I've asked for the remaster of RE2 for Crimbo as its added so many great things and now the one RE game I actually completed on my own is getting the same treatment! Looks incredible and I cant wait to get it. Also, dont miss out that the game will come with the new RE multiplayer game which apparently amazeballs. I might start a thread on that one as its severely underrated apparently.

I'm aggressive when I play CoD but it felt like too much easy stuff to pick up and throw/put down as traps. I got killed by a random weapon different to mine every single round so maybe it was my luck.

It's more the fact that it's not a level playing field for me. You could pick up completely different weapons and the cool thing before was everyone had the same. Also, now I have to think a little more which means it's not a pick up and play gamemode like it was. I have to REALLY switched on now as opposed to turned on with a dimmer switch. Do you think theres too many hand grenades and bouncing betties?

James is right, go hardcore on HQ and that might do it. Tbf, I get excited about double and triple kills on this game as it makes me they're more rewarding - fuck the quad feeds, so overrated.
