Thanks for responding Greebs. With these types of things you never know how they'll be received but i'm glad they've been read quite a bit so far. I think if i'm supposed to take no news as good news (?!) then I want to let you all know i'll be looking out for people from now and throught into 2020 that really want to write some longer posts about all the categories we do today. One key part to FG winning the internet is to keep things fresh and that would mean getting more articles up and about the place. Shoothouse plays really well in this Season and I might be on my own but Crash is enjoyable too. Ithink too many people rush into Control point B, thats in the middle of the map. With high buildings all around. And lanes all looking at it. I mean, I hate to be that guy but.... I really hope for next season they take Piccadilly out of the rotation to smarten up the map logistics. Whilst still looking great, its far too open and Domination is a crazy clusterfuck to try and hold B in between the buses.

Lol, I don't think it's acceptable to charge any person $20 for a cosmetic element. I think it's hilarious and justified for all those cockwombles that think its perfectly fine to use a K/D as a key driver to play the game. Past behaviours and experiences dont lie. You still get to see at the end anyway but that's not enough for some people. They make millions of funds from everything that they do, including MTX but the basic premise of if a game is doing shit and no cosmetics being bought wont still get updated. Activision being as cutthroat as they are will certainly follow that rule. Support the games that make even more money, drop the ones that dont. I'm not saying I agree with it one bit, but that's fundamental business. You also bought the battle pass btw, and I have no idea why. People looked over as lol'd at my desk at this. Spot on 😂😂😂😂

Available late January 2020 with RRP $29.99. Cheaper alternative to the custom made controllers by SCUF and Astro but I really hope it actually is worth that amount of money. Like the idea so you can apply it to any PS4 controller and you won't get an official controller with paddles at that cost from anywhere else, i imagine its a pretty good deal. Bit gimmicky though and I wonder why they haven't invested time in making a new one - Maybe cos they won't be compatible with PS5 perhaps?

Pretty big news in the gaming world. Considering Corsair are pretty darn class at making periphals (like mine 😎) and they also already have acquired Elgato who make capture cards their proposition just got a little bit more powerful in the market. I feel SCUF were going down in the market somewhat, or maybe more so being caught up by others such as Astro with their latest controller hitting the market now in Europe. With mergers you always hope the product gets a serious boost in quality - I certainly also hope they don't just ditch consoles either.

I'm gla dyou won't, you aint stupid! 😄 The point is your response to dying alot is not the norm, plus you don't need to know the K/D if you've died alot - you can't deny that the large population when seeing a positive K/D half way through a game either play differently to keep positive or they start getting angry at the lesser players, regardless if those players have been capturing control points while they sweep up the kills. True it does. But if they hit targets they release funds to developers for more developing. That's obvious. Its all connected and regardless of the overall money in Activision - they won't support a game itself if it isn't finding a way to self monetizing themselves.

Will speak to the wife about what she would like to do too. We had a wellbeing session at work and it discussed doing this. It is definitely about clearing your mind and literally being in the 'now' moment, listening to every little thing that happens and not thinking of anything else. It definitely helps, but it's something I've usually not felt required cos I'm usually knackered enough already!

You know, I'm okay with this. I really am. If your K/D ratio in game means that much to you, go ahead and get this dick-enhancing swedish cock pump that also tells the time and K/D. People used to rage quit or leave because the standards of their teammates weren't up to scratch, thus making more games imbalanced while new players were found. It is infinitely better seeing a score and things like objectives make a clear difference in how you're doing in the match. Plus if they pay $20 for this it'll mean they can support the game a little longer which means i can get some more free stuff hopefully.

Me too, might bring a few games and then add to it over the next few weeks.

So has anyone tried Spec Ops since they released more maps/missions? How do they play since the update? I'm fancying to give it a go at some point and wondering if an FG squad have got the minerals?

Let's get your thoughts. Here's something new - i'm enjoying Destiny again. Wait, Lee enjoying Destiny? Tell me something I don't know. OK. There's a reason this time around that playing feels less anxiety riddled and more comfortable than the last few seasons for me. Power grind essentially isn't needed to be the main focus anymore. Its a great feeling because when you logged on previously whilst its easy to use that as the go to thing to help you work out what to play or do, it would be the only thing to be focused on. Initially there seemed to be a lot of worry about the roadmap which I understand. Everyone wants more and more and more content for basically the cost of 2 pints of lager and then want it all straight away - but what i found in my first few hours is that it was nice it wasn't all over in a second. Equally the grind to do the first few quest steps wasn't too bad or hard plus it took me places i hadn't been in a while (Mars and Tangled Shore). Sundial is a lot of fun and way better than the Vex Offensive from last season. Yes, based on the menagerie, which was the ideal thing to do because that was their best season of content by a mile. What I like more is these Obelisk things that are basically like vendors but open up after upgrading them a bit. That kind of 'reveal' was nice. Not in your face and not too hard to unlock. Makes me want to play more. I can't wait to play some of the story of Saint-14 and finally have some time free to go back and do other stuff such as raids and triumphs. I now feel like I have time to play other games alongside this rather than feeling forced to play it every single night. I think if more tried this knowing they don't have to play it every night, they'd feel the same as me. Whats everyone else feeling about it?

Granted, BO4 is way quicker and I think you end up getting used to wall jumping and boosts that it doesn't feel that bad for how that game was set out. I'd like to get some games with you mate @IRaMPaGe , would be interesting to see if its the usual issues you are feeling are more centered around sole players rather than in squads.

I've started watching WW2 in Colour on Netflix. Really enjoying it way more than I expected, the simplest of things like colour can really hook you in to a docu-series. Definitely interesting to learn how Hitler made mistakes as well as the Allies. Should've enjoyed History at school more.

Just thought i'd chime in now the new FG home has been here for over a week now to see what you think about how the articles section is working out? Please be honest and constructive as its new and it'll be good to know if its being used/not used, nice addition, doesn't work for you, not sure if it'll be used, etc. Also, if you have ideas on how to build on the articles section out into next year e.g. ideas for things to write up about or even if you want to write one, please shout up. I don't want this to just to be me again, you guys have some way more interesting words than me. Maybe even a series of some stories might be interesting and fun for people to get involved in? I appreciate any responses you've got 👍

Thanks for posting this up @techno . I've watched a few and its opening up quite nicely this season, better than expected. Datto's video helps but actually seems a little more to it as well with different upgrades to do on the obelisks and more to unlock over time.

I might look at it if its still available mate. I'm just looking into creating a Steam account for my son so he could try it out.

This year's OW Winter Event is from December 10th to January 2nd. 3 separate week's worth of skins and sprays to get again. This time round it seems to have a slight variation of the snowball fight mode from last few years. Snowball Deathmatch will be a separate gamemode to choose in the Arcade mode. Also, noticed that Mei catches a snowball thrown at her - I'm not sure if that's just her ability or a common one for everyone which should be what's happening. I must admit although it's not really different to the last few years, I've always found the snowball fights to be some really good lolz with everyone. Could even be a great FG party night between us all the OSK (One Snowball Kill) about.

They do say your mind isnt ready to go to bed if you dont doze off within 20 minutes. Whilst reading is good another way is to 'reset' your body by getting out of bed and re-doing your going to bed routine. No, not turn on the PC and playstation and play for another 5 hours but just small things like going to the toilet, checking your lunch is done for tomorrow and locking up the house. You need to free your mind of other things that its thinking of to help it get in the mood to turn off. I'd also totally do @Middle Class Caveman idea of listen to rain. We've recently put on Alexa to play calming rainfall forest music and its brilliant. People do pay for a calming app out there but Alexa is cheaper after you buy an Echo Dot for your room.
