  1. Get the F... in. Result this is as I know how people find it hard to press more than 3 buttons. Great to see it in the UI. PS5 players will soon be able to join Discord voice chat directly from their console BLOG.PLAYSTATION.COM Easier access to Discord voice chat will roll out gradually over the coming weeks. Should mean we can utilise Forever Gaming discord voice channels alongside game nights. Means crossplay really will now ramp up I reckon. I also find Discord chat, really smooth AND even clearer than PlayStation.
  2. The last one on Xbox 360 that came out with the console at launch looked amazing at the time but the gameplay and shooting was really poor. It does have that similar feeling, looks visually decent but that gunplay didn't fill me with any confidence it will be any better than the one years ago. Lets see what the reviews say when they come out. I feel like it will drop in the sale very quickly, but I hope I'm wrong for the developers sake.
  3. Thats where I sit abit. Fantastic they've created something like this to see how far they can push the boundaries of games. Just not sure it would actually be enjoyable in any way.
  4. Finally a beta is now open for anyone that wants to give the upcoming game a go. I expect this to be still very early doors and probably with lots of things they have tweak but nice to give it a go as an alternative FC24. Let us know what you think below. Only a small download at c.28GB on PS5.
  5. Sad but not surprising as it was expected. Needs a global change, not just one league.
  6. Not generic mate. Just pure quality this one was and defined alot of what pinnacle console era stories needed to aim for in my opinion. Unpopular opinion would be Destiny. Its been a fascinating ride in terms of story, and some great missions and world it has created, even if we all probably hoped some of the background lore would've been in the game more. Recently, I would say the Hogwarts Legacy had a great storyline. Really inviting and made you want to keep playing more and more. Again, the world setting just makes such a difference. And its hard not to give Final Fantasy 7 a mention in here. Some of the best characters made in a game, that were also playable.
  7. I can't believe its been 10 years! Pre-ordered and I hope that we do see many of us back on, its been a while and I know we'll all enjoy the ride whilst it lasts.
  8. Just another FYI - The Ferrari 330 P4 '67 £20m legend car is available to buy again if anyone needs it for their PS Trophy collection. @phil bottle
  9. If you haven't picked up Streets of Rage 4 before, then this is an absolute great month to get it! Superb game, even more so if you loved the classics back on the Mega Drive.
  10. I think the kicker for me is if the new map comes with new items, accessories or in-game activities you can get involved with. A new map is nice to explore new scenery for a game or two, but if we are doing the same without being able to develop maybe perhaps base building in greater detail, new people will struggle to get involved like they already do today. As you say Phil, its just another skin that people will want to add mods to it.
  11. YES! That was a great game too. This made me think of Super Saturday at the London Olympics. Some great scenes whilst watching this unfold through the whole day. Can't believe the whole event was 12 years ago 🤯
  12. Not Super Mario Kart, philly?!! Unless that wasn't 90's I guess? Absolutely incredible game. I spent ages even just on the training missions 😄 The dreamcast version of this was incredible!!! The world map on how they created the campaign was just not like any other fighting game. Another fantastic concept that made a game standout on its own. Just couldn't get into these unfortunately! Although @Findmartin was hooked on these if i remember rightly. A game before this was Pandemonium that I really enjoyed that was even more linear than Crash was. Snap 😄 I would've said Zelda on the GameBoy but unfortunately I was so shit at the game, I couldn't get far so didn't like it back then! Now, playing it on SNES online, I can now see what the fuss was about!
  13. Man, this is sooooo hard. Too many to choose from given it was peak gaming as a kid. I loved Virtua Racing on Mega Drive. Took graphics and games to a new level. And then followed by an incredible TOCA and TOCA 2 games on the Playstation 1. Driving games just were never as good as these for a while. So many sport games tbh defined me as a kid so I have loads that wouldn't really be on many people's radar, like Madden 92 NFL and NHLPA Hockey 93 which was insanely good. Micro Machines Turbo Tournament 2 was incredible for their tournament mode of 4 leagues with promotion and relegation - some concepts that are still not matched in other games to this day and I have no idea why. Outside of sports games, Tomb Raider I think was just gamebreaking for RPGs. And as others say, Final Fantasy 7 lit up what was achievable on open world games for me.
  14. Yeah I was hoping the same for me tbh...but I haven't reinstalled it as watching is a little easier than getting stuck into a large open world survival game!
  15. Genuinely......I dunno mate 🤷‍♂️ It all starts with games. And then ideas to be able to do mini internal fun tourneys or game nights. We've done that with FIFA not long ago and I tried to get it going on other stuff that would've played to this but in all honesty, no one can be arsed of late lol. What would you do with the clans outside just a few game nights? I'd like to think we're old enough and past it to be really bothered about internal clan disagreements that can easily happen over time....but then again, this is games and the history of FG before it was FG was alot of that! Probably why we're still FG after all this time 🤣❤️ If its life you want to bring back into games, suggest some games and mini tourneys or game nights we can get behind over a period of time. We have loads we can do, for instance Gran Turismo was on a roll...but like any game, it needs people to organise, gather the troops and then people need to set up events t get their arses online 👊 I'd be up for a random old retro clan catch up one night on something, although i'd be FG cos I was never in any of the others many many years ago.
  16. Some have been playing it - @techno @LordBaguette @Macca89 @Mitch @MrBiron I've downloaded it but not really sure why lol. I don't think its a cod killer by any means. I mean first off, CoD can kill itself pretty easily as we've all seen, but this game hasn't had really any marketing and for a free game to hit hard it needs that early thousands flock to it like Apex Legends did. With no SBMM, I think you'll find you wanted to like it, but in reality it just doesn't give you enough satisfaction back....and SBMM would've actually helped with that to a degree.
  17. MW recent CoDs have been some of the better ones in the franchise so I hope they can bring this back and make it worthwhile. I've not seen anything on this one though to tempt me like MW2 and MW3 did.
  18. This one killed me 🤣 @slamminbones can take all the credit for this one! Can't get the song out of my damn head 🤣🤣
  19. 33 named, 7 to be trimmed for the 26-man squad for The Euros 2024. Select the 7 to be left out and maybe say some reasoning below.
  20. Yes! The Holland 4-1 and Germany 5-1 destructions were incredible days for me too. I actually would add England 3-2 Argentina, which was a friendly but dictated who would be the higher seed at the World Cup and it was far from a friendly! I have both 5-1 Germany and 3-2 Argentina on DVD still as those games were that good.
  21. Leeds should win and they'll be hammered if they don't. The end of the Championship though has shown that anything that can happen....
    Well played Kenny! GGFG!
  22. Football? Oh go on then. There's so many, probably why we love the game so much. But this following 2 minute montage just reminded how much I was so behind the England team in 2021. That was a magical day. A time where everyone doesn't believe we can beat big teams. That Southgate can't do it. That Kane can't do it. What a day that was. I'm literally tearing up watching it all over again. And again. And again. This is what we live for. ❤️
  23. Hmm, that is hard. Weirdly, one that sticks out is the Cricket World Cup final England vs New Zealand. Insane game. Scores level and tied at the very end, which is rare in itself but then the Super Over was effectively ending level too but England winning on countback for Wickets. So many random things happened. Bear in mind our captain Stokes is a broken injured man through it all, and to top it all off, England actually ended up as the winner. I accidentally punched my ceiling jumping up in celebration 🤣 From just under 5 minutes, it is absolute carnage.
  24. Can't see it being dropped. We can't be the only league without it when you go to Europe and big international tournaments it will be on I would suspect. Let the teams have 2-3 calls for VAR through the game that can pause the game up to 3 minutes at a time. Works in other sports but doesn't take the responsibility away from the man in the middle that everyone has to accept their decisions.
