    The whole weekend of football was a delight to watch, maybe with the exception of the Man City game. Incredible cup ties, and what the FA Cup is supposed to be all about. For any neutral watching football for the first time, that was pinnacle football drama at its best. Fair play to all the ones that got through too. Every winner felt like they did enough in my eyes to win their cup ties.

    Yeah its crossplay but we haven't tried much of that yet. I'll have a look when I know I can dedicate some nights to it and hopefully we can squad up. Discord shouldn't be an issue to use too.

    A great idea Matt - we did try it briefly before but as always its about getting enough people behind the idea. Its likely it would work best if its maybe 1 game a month and as you say, something cheap or free to get involved in that we can all focus efforts on to have a good chinwag over it on here. We also did FG Film Club like this but I noticed doing it weekly was a hard slog (although would love to see that back too). Loving the ideas of FG scores. I've never found a way yet to record them in a smarter way but that doesn't stop us sticking them on posts like Phil has mentioned. I think if you can have a think of some certain games that could be potentials to maximise the amount of people that could get involved in this, lets then see if we can make it work for the upcoming month perhaps!     Hey @oldskoolrave ! Great to see a new face as always! @Plumbers Crack is the 3 wise men all wrapped up in one here...with the odd Dad joke somewhere involved to keep us all sane. So if he's recommended you, then you must be golden 😉 Yep, Matt is right, Destiny 2 was many peoples game here for years. Its dropped off the last 12 months considerably but I know I am planning on making a big push to ask everyone to get back into it come June for the The Final Shape. Its such a fun game to play and help each other. So much stuff to do and lots we can talk and have a laugh with. Fingers crossed I'll be seeing you online with FGers taking on whatever Dungeon, Raids and Missions we have to try and get done 😄 You play anything else other than Destiny? We also group up on other stuff too just in case you like different things alongside D2. Hope to see you involved on here, a great place - the best place, to call Home on the interwebz (thats fact, not just my humble opinion 😄 )

    Really intriguing, agreed!! I think like with most MMO or open world games it will probably depend on how much content will go live at the launch to be able to keep people engaged in this. I do fancy giving it a go though just based off what I've seen above.

    Looking for a bit of feedback everyone! Always want to keep everything as fresh as we can here, and I know we have an awful lot of stuff to get involved in - sometimes too much! At the same time, its ours and we can do loads of things together so why not! FG has lots of spaces so would be ace as I'm starting to look at how we can keep everything fresh here, what parts you'd like better, more of, confuse you, don't understand, want more on how to get involved, anything missing we should have....the list i'm sure goes on. To help if you are struggling what things to send me feedback on, here's a breakdown of areas we have now or had in the past: Forums Articles Blog Videos Quizzes Events Predictions Merch Achievements / Medals Memberships Game Hubs Guides and Tips History Ideas Leaderboard Polls Raffles Roadmap Search Servers Tournaments FG Team Themes Most of these you can find in the menus on FG - just click the burger 3 line menu on mobile or hover over 'More' on the menu bar on PC. I'm all good taking any feedback, good, bad or just comments. If we don't know, we can't improve. Cheers all!

    Interesting to watch. Not much of an opinion on this right now. I think so much more is now depending on what you want out of a video game more than straight up graphics. Thats backed up by the Indie scene and quite a few double AA titles doing way better than expected because they are just fun. We'll see where cloud gaming goes this year. I'll be sitting, watching and waiting to see what happens.

    When was the last time you jumped on it @phil bottle? Like you said, hard to keep up with the updates - I feel like it needs a big re-launch to get behind certain objectives to play and energise people to squad up. Is there another wipe coming up anytime soon do you know?

    Yep, awesome to finally get games in with you! More to come i'm sure this week onwards. Remember...if you're having you've already won 😎 We'll have to try some crossplay, it was encouraged at the start to turn it off whilst it sorted its matchmaking issues out. I'll have to search to see if all is good now but let us know when you get on next, i'm sure some FGers will be on! It is hard to make time for it for sure so I feel that pain a little. I may set some nights up where maybe we all know they'll be enough around for 1, 2 or 3 squads to be able to go out there and have a good laugh with each other.

    Whilst some may not think its as challenging as the super hard games we expect, Hogwarts Legacy has one of the most satisfying gameplay controls to play with in an RPG. I've managed to find this small clip online that shows a small part into the spells and combos, including how you can flip to flying so easily mid-battle. There's so many combo spells to choose from, it really is a whole lot of fun. Smooth is the perfect word for it. No wonder it was the biggest selling game of 2023.

    I'm gutted I can't get to this! I'm out for a meal and drinks with the wife and family. Really hope that loads can make it and we can get to see loads of videos of who is getting voted out for no reason whatsoever 🤣

    I think thats a slightly better than half decent I think! Everyone should be putting adding them into their library, the last F1 game i tried was pretty good so its nice to see that latest one enter the collection. I'd tell anyone here that hasn't got Witch Queen to bank it in their library ASAP if we do call on it from June onwards.

    I have played a small part of the start - but more of the multiplayer when I tried a few missions out with Tom. I'd love to find time to go back to some single player action as I was a fan of how varied it felt when taking on the enemies.

    I think if the game has been fleshed out a lot more than it was, I'd be up for having a world on it. Can we get Private servers at all on this? Be interesting if so. Not that it needs it as its more about wherever the local host is at. Similar to Green Hell for me this one. Worth a few plays on it in a month to push the story through and build on whatever homebase you have set up.

    @LordBaguette will, its Ghosts of Tsushima all over again. I propbably need to get into GoT first properly before thinking about investing in this.

    Another sound night, got straight in and no problems whatsoever! Also, looks like they have pushed another few patches out. Yesterday was the AFK fix and now they've upped server limits too: I think I would go as far to say right now, that if you've been holding off because of this - don't. Buy the game, and jump in with everyone. It is fantastic and a really enjoyable experience in missions.

    The irony of all of that is the game has been functioning and the wait time wasn't much at all yesterday. I'll be seeing how the next few days go too and report back. I remember the days of Overwatch hitting these issues and we used to all wait well over 30 minutes to get in when we were playing at its peak. If anyone is having trouble, just make sure you party up as we can help each other through PS invites and the option up above via the PS5 menu system.

    This is apparently working nearly every time for people so may want to try this out 😄 We were on last night ( @Luseth @Macca89 and @Mitch) and where Mitch and Macca got straight on, Matt and myself got the server message. Having said that it only had to retry twice and Matt once so we were both in less than 2 minutes and it was great all night! That was just after 8pm too so a very high peak time so its not as bad as people probably think. I don't think its ridiculous because no game offers 10 million slots for concurrent gameplay, thats insane and probably costs an absolute fortune. AA games aren't expected to have the amount of immediate success they had and whilst i'm super disappointed I couldn't play over the weekend due to servers, sometimes I have sympathy for a company that delievered something way better than they even anticipated. I'd urge more people to give it a go and try and log on. I don't think the peak will last for months too. Whilst replayability now is amazing, we know that their regular updates won't be as quick as other live service games. You don't have to gorge the content (you can't anyway because of slowish XP progression), rather more the game is there to be enjoyed having a ton of doing a few missions with some laughs involved.

    This has popped up as a nice surprise to watch this week! Looks ace. I struggled to get into the game as it didn't itch me as much as Destiny did but the characters and story always seemed interesting. Sounds like they're pitching at the right sarcastic, action focused mark. Jack Black as Claptrap is a great choice. Lets hope the best bits aren't just in the trailer like some other films 😄 Any thoughts?

    Loads of people have been dying for more Elden Ring content - I know the Americans @Jason and @BO7H B4RRELS have been waiting forever for it, so its nice to finally see the rumours 100% confirmed. My son is stoked for it, he doesn't get too loud about hype but has already said its worth pre-ordering it. Looked really good, as you would expect from FromSoftware. Anyone else keen?

    So its pretty clear, this game has surpassed most gamers expectations and for the price too, people have flocked to it...just abit too much than they anticipated! I'm pretty gutted we can't play it most nights of late with servers just saying max capacity without any update of getting on. The issue seems to be a cap on the servers for max players which was then made worse by people going AFK and leaving themselves logged in because the game didn't have an AFK kick function. They are working hard to rectify they have said and I think they've sorted the AFK part but max servers will most likely be a software issue written into the code - so its not as easy as people think. The producer has said honestly that he would tell people that haven't bought it to be patient and wait which in fairness something that not many others would say. I really hope its fixed in the next few weeks as this game is bloody fantastic and a great party up game. Lots of replayability too. How you all feeling about it? I'd love to know more about the technical reasons as its clear that you can't just pump money on new servers being turned on unfortunately.
