  1. Thanks for the heads up Gaz, I'll take a look over the next week into this 👍
  2. As soon as I got wind of a PS5 getting their own Pro controller I didn't really look at SCUF anymore as I was worried about compatibility and future proofing it to work with certain games. Clive @Teenwolf25 may have one still and try it out. I do think the Sony Pro PS5 Controller is truly the one part of the overall console that is 'Next Gen'. Everything works extremely well, super easy to custom and most of all I can just buy a stick for £20 whenever I get stick drift rather than nearly paying £100 for a new controller down the road. My original 2 PS5 controller both have stick drift already so this felt like the right thing to buy moving forwards.
  3. Future England defender. I actually think the agent has screwed us over here, he signed a 2 year deal last year so we could keep him but he added a £3m release clause which is peanuts for England's next promising defender. He's played in England teams 2-3 years higher than his age, recently captaining U18s. Came in last year to get his full debut and played fantastically in a number of games. He's raw but the potential is ridiculous with him. My inside person was telling me last season that his mum wanted him to go last season to Spurs but he knew he would get more out of playing with us...thats not lasted long but thats football and we desperately need funds to buy a proven striker. Just hope Spurs don't waste his talent in the U23s and we never see him again. Deserves to be playing a bunch of games this season.
  4. You have a good point there Phi..oh, wait..hang on. **Checks own notes on what I love** Motherf...🤣🤣
  5. I think Diamont is my next board game purchase. Such a fun and easy game to get used to.
  6. Just another reason for people to invest some money and time with Gran Turismo 7. They continue to get free updates, additional cars and loads more challenges have been adding to make the game feel really chunky now, even when you've played a few hundred hours already.
  7. Has to be Hardpoint for me, closely followed by Bounty. Love the objective nature of Hardpoint but puts Headquarters to shame as it has a good rotation around the map rather than feeling like one team always stomping the game in HQ. Something so exciting when you get a decent game and a little bit of comms between FGers and we can work our way out of sticky situations. Bounty shows that the subtle change to a gamemode like TDM can make it hugely popular and fun. The objective pulls you in as you can see where the Bounty is at all times, plus it gives other members a role of either attacking or defending given the fact you can get 5 points for a bounty kill. Wish they kept Bounty kills on the stattracker though, I feel like that would help show how much of a MVP you are in the round. I used to love Search and Destroy on every previous CoD but now I can see why only having one life can be quite frustrating. Early on in this MW2 game, we were loving Cyber Attack due to the unlimited revives you can have. However, the others just flow better as everyone is active all of the time.
  8. Everything is cyclical, and I feel like this time or a version of this space of time is coming around again. I'm just really surprised a game developer out there hasn't picked out the two most coveted gamemodes people have spoken up on for years; Pro Clubs (FIFA) and Master League (PES). If a game came out and just let me play these two gamemodes and removed all the modes i'd get it in a heartbeat. I think the key with a lot of the next football games will be that you have to be on latest generation console to experience the full improvements, whatever they will be.
  9. I've been interested in this previously but I know its about committing the time and effort towards it so everyone enjoys this. Thursdays will be our training night for Yara's football team. Likely home by 8pm but you never know in a few months as it could be slightly later. I'm also looking to pick up Gran Turismo nights back up too. Does this work better weekly? Or any other regular timeslot? I'm open to other days too if we can make it work. Also, is there like a timespan you can make them over e.g. 6 week campaign? Knowing it also has some form of an end may help some people to commit a block of weeks or nights perhaps? I'm gonna struggle with roleplay! but its something i've found interesting when watching...maybe watching one happen at FG first may help push me over the line to do it. Thanks for giving this a go at drumming up some interest James! Love seeing multiple things going on here.
Always some great clips on MNF! Nice one @Macca89 😎
  10. Make sure you let me know mate, if anything you share is of interest helping me retire early then lets get jiggy with it! 🕺
  11. I'll add you into the Groups we created a few years back on PSN for FG mate. Loads of play CoD still on Fridays and in the week.
  12. Great to see so many good ones being made with loads of creative ways to play. Love how going through the woods the animation pops in different ways depending if you are looking that way.
  13. Not been on lately but really enjoyed my early stint on the FG server with everyone. Main job i loved was creating the book postboxes for everyone that has jumped on the server so far. Picture below that I took at the time. Not sure what day we're on now, I know the quests felt better this time round when completing them as a group. Where's the next base at when exploring further out and about? I know I have a few traders to go and unlock next time i'm on 😄
  14. A superb interview from Neville to Alli. It speaks volumes on just how any one of us can having something going on in the background so trying not to judge and perceive everything on face value is pretty critical I think these days. No one should have to have that mental torture over the years. I love redemption arcs, and I really hope this lad can get one. Only shame is seeing how he felt like he wanted to do this but maybe in a few weeks/months but couldn't due to the pressure of journalists hounding the situation so they can put something in the tabloids. No one is perfect, so if your heart is in the right place, I think everyone deserves some support to get where they want to get to.
  15. I love this mate, only got round to being able to have time to digest it. I did try a High Performance organiser some years ago and it worked for a little bit - I think the challenge with capturing positive thoughts at the start and at the end of the day is something way harder than it sounds, especially if you are a person that wants to maximise everything out of every single day. One day soon I'll try and grab it mate and take a good read. Hopefully it has had a decent start and I'm sure you've helped a few lives already based on the reviews on Amazon so far!! Love seeing you helping others buddy, can't get enough of that @Middle Class Caveman 👊❤️
  16. Not really as Pat and James just disagree on a regular basis. You know, you could be right about that! I do see so many kids getting xbox but when they get older all they want is a PlayStation lol. Not sure how the demographic has ended up like that but I certainly hear that sentiment when I speak to mums and dads about all of this stuff. I've got to the stage with this that they should just get on and do whatever they wanna do. I don't think it will really do anything in the next 10 years to gaming if I'm brutally honest. Sony might get hurt in the long term but I probably see it as they have a 10 year plan to make sure they do whatever they need to in order to protect what they have right now.
  17. It sounds stupid and surely not....but I genuinely considered this last year. The controller is so close to ours lol. I'm still scratching my head on this one. If it was licences that stopped them, just release the same game with no kits and random names like the first ones. We'd get a file to update it at some point i'm sure! They'd have still made way more money than that eFootball crap.
  18. I imagine class would be difficult to choose because of the heals being only Single Player @Middle Class Caveman?
  19. Good work Bob @Baabcat, Kenny @IRaMPaGe and Matt @crippled_viper! I'm sitting on 4 Platinums so far. Probably should focus on them more but just love getting a winstreak going more! Another FG night of no losses last night. I'm focusing on Lachman 556 now to see how that Plat goes, but also trying to get a few Battle Rifles Golded as I didn't focus on them all that much other than the FTAC.
  20. What's weird is, Pro Clubs could be monetized probably the most given how people would work together to see their club transform over time (and money). I'm not agreeing that i want to see it completely ripped apart but a customisation element that allows us to earn something, literally ANYTHING, in that gamemode rather than Volta or whatever else they have would be just nice to see right about now.
  21. I know we shouldn't be ignorant to it all...but i can't help that its easier for my brain to cope with it that way. And @phil bottle is right, again. FFS 🤣
  22. Wooah, hang on. Its not free to play anymore? Hmmm, strange. So it all just feels abit weird now because I was expecting at least some progression within Pro Clubs. Maybe they will, who knows, but as Phil says...its EA Sports innit 😅 That being said we desperately need a new football game to get into. With PES effectively gone, my hope is that UFL can get to market as quick as they can to help drive EA Sports to get behind this franchise like when they had to back in the 2010s as PES took over as the best playable football game for a while. Just expect some random teams not to appear now...as certain teams did sell their rights to games moving forward. Will be a little odd but I really REALLY hope they have some form of customisation mode in it like PES always had. I just want them to add some variety back into Pro Clubs tbh!
  23. Here's Rob's last post when I tried to help him get back engaged with us all to inject some love into his life. 😔
  24. We've received the tragic news that yesterday we lost one of our longstanding members from the early days, Rob McGee. Some would've known him by TheReverend or el Capitan. 💔 His Sister said that Rob passed away in Leeds general Infirmary yesterday after a sudden illness. He then went on to help 4 people live out their lives, let their families watch their loved one grow old and not experience this grief. Many wouldn't have known Rob recently but his last post shown that he was struggling hard with life - we also supported him through the Forever Gaming Feel Good Fund when he needed it most. He used to be extremely good at Call of Duty games and also played a lot with us on Destiny too. I kind of dreaded the day that we'd hear about someone we lost here. Rob was a great lad, Huddersfield football fan, we even spoke about watching our teams play when we got the chance, kicking myself that i should've arranged it sooner. Please leave any memories and wishes below - I'll gladly share it with the family at some stage. Rest in Peace, Rob. We'll have another Search and Destroy game in the next life mate ❤️
