  1. I kind of get what you mean @Middle Class Caveman, the open world is incredible large, and in fairness, requested by public demand. I think that works fantastically well for GTA Online. Campaign wise I kind of got bored after a few missions and wanted to go off-piste with mates. The Heists they created in GTA5 were class and hope more of that formula will exist moving forward. Lets hope Online mode will be released at launch and not just the campaign in Q1 2025.
  2. Carl @TurboR56Mini said this game would be hilarious for FG. Do we know its roadmap and when it comes out of early access?
  3. I like the idea - although would love more to get involved too so FC24 could be played on different nights whenever people wanted to, rather than just MNF. Separate question that is though 😄
  4. DMZ really was a big plus that Call of Duty have created - I'm not sure incorporating this with the Zombies mode really makes it worthwhile, but I suppose it gives Zombies modes abit more playability now. I think they should create more of the 'Raids' they did which sat on the DMZ world as we would know it. Complex missions that got you doing different objectives is definitely the way to go. Probably will get more playability than the MW3 campaign...
  5. Class finish - shame it was in the wrong goal 🤣🤣🤣 Great thread @tronic44!
  6. Ted Hankey. Absolutely off the rails. And a nonce too now 🙈
  7. Hmm, not sure I agree with the comparison. They've just been better from a business POV on how they've released stuff in MW3. They've held back loads of gamemodes and ALL new maps so when they release content 3,6,9 months in, it feels really fresh in comparison to a feeling we all have when we get a reprised map - initial nostalgia and then quickly want something new as we work it out quickly. Private Matches just show they have held back a ton of gamemodes which I really hope we get to see them in Season 2. Anyone tried out many of the new guns out in Season 1? I don't think I've tried any yet, slowly working through the launch ones. I've still enjoyed this season a lot though. Lots of FGers on to group up and make it an enjoyable experience. 2 things could be better for next Season for me: 1) The Events haven't been anywhere near engaging as MW2 ones so far and 2) Highrise can get permanently deleted.
  8. Reading that makes me want it. How big was the world and game, mate? I'll add it to my wishlist for 2024.
  9. Maybe. But Devs have poured years of work into it and they'll be a contract to keep putting more into it. I think they should and see it where it takes them. There's a market for single player games - thats clear on how well some of the games in that space we have had over the past 18 months. However, a game with the open world scale this has, just feels off putting they didn't focus on somehow enjoying this with your friends. Open world discovery games is where so many people want to experience those moments with other people, not in their own single player contained game. Just my 2p on seeing how the hype has gone quiet very quickly on this.
  10. Equaliser 3. I enjoyed it, always have these type of films with Denzel. Its not all about the action in how I enjoy his role, its his methodologies and process in how you see his subtle looks and moves towards things. A decent alternative to Taken series with Liam Neeson imo.
  11. It seems a hit with some online, which is impressive given it has virtually no marketing whatsoever. Gigz who used to play Destiny PvP raves about it a hell of a lot.
  12. I think the price tag is a little offputting, if it could be less than £30 for a PC game that would be more tempting. I love the idea of FGers on this though for sure. @crispymorgan's sweet spot with this too I think.
  13. Insane goal! And I was actually proud of the 'fail jump' as I do that all the time lol. Never gonna score a goal like that, nice man.
  14. All ARs are Gilded, with I think at least 2 out of 6 Forged. Saving a few so I can go back to using them after doing other guns. Swarm SMG Gilded, Striker is nearly there (kills under your tactical impact are a killer though!). Battle Rifles all Gilded. Sidewinder and MCZ are Forged so just BAS-B to do so they are all pretty much done! Gonna look at LMGs I reckon, although I need to check if there is any secondary knife ones to do at all because clearly a few maps are hilarious to use the knife (aren't they Matt @Luseth *cough cough* 🤣). Really enjoying doing these camp challenges whilst trying to play the objective and get the win for FG. I don't mind that its a slower progress for me, although its far quicker than MW2 challenges thats for sure!
  15. I really find this hard from my angle as I'm in the boat where Phil is on games released not in this year. I've also been more interested in others thoughts than my own as it dictates what I buy next. Having said all this, one game i played stood out from all the rest, so much so it was my 3rd highest played game this year - Hogwarts Legacy. Superb game, loved everything about it. Gameplay is super sharp and so enjoyable. My list is probably the below: Hogwarts Legacy Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Diablo 4 Street Fighter 6 Payday 3
  16. Well done for completing it @WelchyTV 😄. My son still hasn't started it, not sure why as he seemed to get into Lords of the Fallen more first and now hes moved on to his PSVR again for abit. I'm sure once he starts it, as he enjous these games, he'll probably say its up there. I think most people still see Bloodborne up there as the one to challenge this title score wise...its making me thing 2024 I should go back and try and finish a souls like game like that!
  17. Welcome to FG @Aztec2Four , hope you enjoy your stay at FG! Its a place where we do get to know each other more through gaming and other stuff we try and organise - never feel pressured to open up if you don't want to mate, you'll see its been helpful over the years for many of us, including myself. I should start making a grid of who people support to see where they're all growing from! 😅 We used to play R6 Siege a hell of a lot on PS4 days but we've dropped off that somewhat given how much the game develops and you really have to keep playing a game like that weekly to keep in touch of all the little pixel points on the map. We'll have to get your Activision ID to send friend requests as most of us all sit on PS5 playing CoD these days but now crossplay is becoming easier day by day, we could hopefully jump in together at some point soon...we have the lolz, but we still try and go to win every game, ironically its why we speak about W/L rather than K/D these days as we get older! Get involved where you can, looking forward to seeing you around FG!
  18. Happy Christmas everyone!! I hope everyone's day and time with their family and friends is a special one this year ❤️ Enjoy and be merry!! 🍻🎄
  19. I thought it was a really good film back when I watched it. Something very different to the usual superhero films you see out there. Always struggle with top 5s/10s, etc as I forget films and also love different films for different reasons. Having said that....its probably top 10 for me.
  20. Would love to do this someday, Tom, but I think we'll all need to get on PCs at some point and may not get the full impact of whatever the game we end up trying.
  21. I've enjoyed trying to go back to this, especially quests wise but can't deny its been overwhelming seeing the homepage (does look more like roblox now) and also been took apart in trio/dup games more than i expected. I think switching from FPS CoD to 3rd person Fortnite hasn't been as seamless as I it was a few years ago! Still willing to keep at it, only on zero build to stay away from the twitchy instant builder players. 😄
  22. I think footballers aren't made of what they used to be. Owen did an interview with Simon Jordan, got ridiculed for his Apple in the bin part, which was quite funny watching it back. However, he said something that in his way didn't sound quite right but the underlying sentiment isn't probably far off. He said you don't need to be good anymore to be a premiership player, you just need to be able to be an athlete. I do think you need the skills and ability but I do think there's some truth in that footballers are designed from an early age to be as fit as you possibly can be and the fitness and conditioning work they do is not built from making them durable. These days, they have the thinnest socks and boots you'd find and they wonder how many people break toes, etc. But they want them to 'feel' the football like its an extension of your foot. Its the way the game has evolved that makes it this way now. Not sure it'll turn the other way as its more entertainment than pure football these days. Money will play its part too. If you earn an absolutely ridiculous amount, which they all do at that level, the back of their head will sometimes say don't push it, gotta be 100% fit otherwise kiss goodbye to a career of that money that won't last forever. Injuries have killed us yet again. Its unbelievable that somehow we've been inconsistently crap but only 2 points off teh playoffs still. Quality is not there this year in the Championship.
  23. I don't whether to be proud or weirded out that Call of Duty was my biggest game, and of every month in 2023 too. Destiny not even in my top 5, which is kind of disappointing on a personal note, only because it shows how much the game dropped in 2023. Couldn't believe that Hogwarts, a single player game was 3rd with just over 100 hours of playtime. I absolutely loved it and for a hard year to overcome, it was great to zone out and focus on so many little objectives in the game. Rocket League was number 5 and its incredible that game keeps on having playtime. Best Playstation Plus game they've given to us. And now I can be Lightning McQueen. There is a God.
