  1. Well it looks like fat bastard Bobby will get a fat payday and still run the show for the time being. His contract is up soon though apparently. Thankfully there is one person above his head now. I think this is pretty risky from Microsoft - $70bn invested could have built a Goliath studio with a clean slate reputation. Activision may have a few stale IP's but the studio is covered in controversy and is a shadow of its former self in regards of innovation and quality games. Maybe Microsoft will be able to swing it but a lot needs to change. I'm pretty sure it was only a couple of months back Phil Spencer was slating the studio. Maybe he got himself a discount🤣
  2. It's been revealed that they stopped tracking Hazard Zone last month because the numbers were so tiny. There's been suggestions from data that a minority of users have tried it once and then never again. Also Portal mode last week had 552 players globally at peak with crossplay enabled - these figures are absolutely shocking. Season 1 (whatever that entails) likely wont be out until March either and from now until then, there's God of War PC, Horizon Forbidden West, Total War: Warhammer 3, Dying Light 2, D2: The Witch Queen, Elden Ring, Gran Turismo 7 and Forspoken. Bear in mind that when this game was trialed as a F2P on Steam late last year, it mustered 36,000 at best which was half as much as Farming Simulator and down 64% on release less than a month previous. The Battlefield Direct Communication Twitter hadn't tweeted since December 18th until two days ago after immense pressure from the community to restore Rush - that's one Tweet in almost 1 month from the key community relations department. Meanwhile the community manager seems oblivious and is busy asking users what weekly challenges they want to see!? Ultimate Edition owners are also waiting in the dark regarding their 'premium' content whilst others are wondering if it'll go F2P soon. I honestly don't know what they can do to salvage this game now.
  3. I'll be happy to see the back of PS Now and them to integrate that catalogue and more up to date stuff into a pass format. £50 for PS+ and then another £50 on top for PS Now which didn't even include the individual game prices was absolutely ludicrous. What made it worse was that some of the games you could rent (and stream) cost more than buying them outright. I'm actually shocked people bought into it - who's gonna pay £49.99 to then pay £9.99 to play Borderlands 2 for 30 days when they could just buy it for £4.99!? PS Now was also a monumental flop on PC especially when compared to Game Pass. It's about 3 years too late but a PS Pass or something would be a welcome alternative especially if users can stream a huge library for free without having to pay any extras.
  4. Looks more amazing than ever!
  5. Same old story really - game just a few months away from release and then delayed massively out of the blue. Kinda makes you wonder what state they were looking to release the game in if they stuck to their initial target. Deathloop was 5 weeks away from launch and had a big pre-release event and then when that finished, it got delayed by 6 months. With the recent NFT saga, it really casts more dismay on the game and it could even go into 2023 too.

  10. Been playing this the last few days after picking it up cheap and have enjoyed it more than I was expecting. It's definitely not as scary as RE7 but you never really know what you're walking into and there is some interesting level and enemy design. The trader and inventory management aspect is back from RE4 but I never felt like I was tight for funds or space and there wasn't any hard decisions to make regarding upgrades or what to discard. It's definitely trickier early on but once you start finding treasures then you can afford anything and everything. Wish they were more stingier in this regard. It's not a hard game either but combat is still pretty fun especially against numbers. There's also the usual puzzles, backtracking and shortcuts to unlock which is great. After a few missteps with RE5/6, it's brilliant that Capcom are still innovating and keeping this franchise alive where so many other AAA titles have died or been killed off by their publishers.
  11. Looks like it might get an official release after all N64’s GoldenEye 007 May Be Coming To Xbox Soon WWW.FORBES.COM Well, this is a weird one. We’ve heard nothing about a remaster of GoldenEye 007 for a long while now, not since a remake was allegedly canceled for Xbox Live Arcade years ago. Reportedly that was due to...
  12. Tottenham avoid a total humiliation after being 1-0 down at home to Morecambe until the 74th minute to eventually win 3-1. Seems Conte didn't learn his lesson from Nuno that Spurs second string is probably no better than Luton Town and it took the usual suspects of Kane and Moura to change the game. There are several players that shouldn't even get on the bench let alone be named in the first 11 regardless of the opponent or competition. Alli may as well bloody retire and stick to making TikTok videos for the rest of his life whilst visiting the barber daily, and the defence is just a shambles on paper and on the pitch too. The lack of consistency from other individuals is completely unacceptable and I think a couple of careers may have been ended today - certainly at Tottenham anyway. Fair play to Morcambe for a stellar effort but it should not have panned out this way.
