  1. Tip of the year from the master that is; Dr Diamond!
  2. I saw a programme ages ago which went through the strict policies surrounding things like advertisement, product placement and plugging that companies have to abide by but it seems YouTube is a grey area. The show explained that if someone was knowingly advertising a product and being paid for it; they would have to demonstrate that this was the case and not all of their opinions expressed were that of themselves or the product in question. I tend to avoid many corporate mainstream gaming sites these days as you can never be sure if what is said is an opinion generated by the writer or just been placed in at a cost by the publisher. Many avoid the subject of negatives of a title and too much emphasis is put post-release on the reliance of get out of jail patches and updates. In the old days, if a game was not living up to expectation; magazines would happily lambaste the title as they had no fear of repercussions and opted to side with the gamer rather than keeping the publisher sweet due to £/$. I tend to only watch independent YouTubers who aren't tied to a particular game or franchise. At least you'll get an honest and open opinion from them and not a 'I'm soo excited for this' scrpit from puppets like Ali-A or TmarTn. I think many people are unaware of the relationship with certain uploaders publishers have in terms of their content arrangement. Someone like the Cynicalbrit or FrankieonPCin1080HD are always on the side of the gamer and deliver a balanced and organised opinion and that's what I like to see from true gamers. I don't like this culture we see too often today where videos are favorable and unbalanced. Transparency is a key value which seems to be diminishing in the gaming arena today and at the end of the day; it's the loyal gamers that suffer.
  3. Arsenal lose 2-0 then. Pretty much a carbon-copy of last nights game. Arsenal started well and Ozil missed a penalty before their keeper was sent off and then Bayern took total control. At 0-1 it was still a decent prospect for Arsenal but that second goal is a killer for them.
  4. Seems there has been some problems since the Second Assault went live. I've read of a few people experiencing sudden problems after purchase. Hope they can fix this pronto as I don't want it to go back to how it was before = unplayable
  5. I don't know if everyone is familiar with this site but http://bf4stats.com/ is very good tool for your personal statistics in the game away from faffing around in battlelog. Highly detailed and well-organised. You can search yourself and friends profiles easily.
  6. Right, I've maxed out XP and as this is likely to be the last day of the beta; I was wondering what everyone's thought about the game are? I think this game has massive potential. It ran flawlessly throughout and everything was of a ludicrously high standard. This could go down as one of the greatest multiplayer games ever created. Just simply mind-blowing! Finally I understand what all the hype was about. This is definitely a day one purchase on PC for me. I haven't had this feeling of anticipation since the MW2 days!
  7. Count me in Dylan. I am the Bangladeshi of the group. I can't speak any English whatsoever but then again, neither can Dylan.
  8. 2-0 Barca. Alves's last minute strike is curtains for city in the competition pretty much. They were still in with a shout at a goal down for the second leg but they'll need two without fail at the Nou Camp. Oh well they may stand a chance as donkey Demechelis is suspended PSG pissed it too!
  9. Man City have such an amazing team but why the fuck do they have Demechelis? He's the biggest donkey in the Premiership and now he's just been sent off for a fatal challenge. Game over pretty much
  10. I can't be arsed to meet up in London which is a mind-boggling 60 miles away so I may be tempted to pop in to the US of A for a quick half hour drink as it would be easier and more convenient.
  11. Cheers cyber! Well I've waited four months for this DLC on PC so another fortnight won't hurt. Aaaarrrrgghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
  12. I wish I didn't get my Premium refunded now! Does anyone know how long until Second Assault reaches the standard edition peasants?
  13. The beta has been extended to the end of Wednesday 19th and is still open to all Origin users on PC and Xbox One
  14. First impressions from YouTube: Sandy Ravage Drift0r TBNRfrags Ali-A
  15. Can't wait for Man City v Barcelona tonight!

    Hate Mail!

In all seriousness; I have come across many ragers that piss me off but I remember they're just mad and I shouldn't stoop to their level. I didn't experience too many problems in all honesty on Xbox but PC is filled with idiots particularly in BF4 and COD. Usually on the 360 I got a few messages from irate arseholes after matches but on the PC games; if they have a text box; arguments and laughable accusations can last a whole match. I was playing a game of Cranked on Ghosts and I got the first kill and this guy who had a high KD didn't like it and he was so wound up, he went negative and for the whole game he was accusing me of hacking even though I finished 11-12! As the community is smaller on PC particularly in certain lobbies; I ran into him every day for a week and he'd warn everyone that I was a hacker for every lobby we were in. That twat was the one with an expired VAC ban on his account though and will all his mouthing off; he just embarrassed himself.
  17. My favourite event so far
  18. I like this article too http://dailyhawk.co.uk/2014/02/16/premier-league-footballer-comes-out-as-vegan/

    13% Accuracy? Fucking aimbotter
  20. Thankfully the modes don't seem too objective-heavy and the focus is more on gunplay even away from Attrition. I think this game could really bring the best out of even the most noobiest of players
  21. James Blunt was bloody brilliant! I only knew of him as a singer really and in the 10 or so minutes he was talking to Clarkson; I found out that he saved us from World War III and is a fucking comedian too Seems a really nice bloke. I predicted that Danishmobile would be at the top of the leaderboad but then it finished slower than a Ford Focus STI and BMW family estate! It also caught fire every few minutes and cost £800,000 They just ripped it out of it in the end at how bad it was. It was raining but that would have only meant at best it could have probably reached 1.25.00 around the track which is slow by the shows standards now
  22. I'm not Australian but I occasionally drink Fosters. A reasonable larger that's made in Australia but brewed in Leicester.
  23. Fantastic episode of Top Gear last night! The crew went to Ukraine to complete a cross-country trip which included a challenge NOT to reach Chernobyl which was hilarious. Definitely one of their best ever episodes. It's available to watch in HD here http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b03wc9v7/hd/Top_Gear_Series_21_Episode_3/
  24. Another positive about the gameplay pace and fluidity means camping has literally no value or point. There are no places where you can sit comfortably on a map and you can get to even the hardest to reach areas in a matter of seconds. I saw a guy on a rooftop on Angel City sniping and after clocking him; I sprinted and darted off two walls upwards, came from the side, cloaked and blew his brains out from behind. All this in 5 seconds from a seemingly significant distance away. The gameplay elements force you to be constantly moving and with so much action on the maps; you'll never be stuck for something to shoot. The utterly fantastic and precise controls and slick engine make moving an absolute joy. Even 3rd floor interiors are not a safe haven as you can dart in through the window and obliterate anything inside in a split second. Points and kills really wrack up when getting stuck in and I think with what is on offer; people will play this game objectively without the Call of Duty politics of gameplay image and the general noob behaviors that plague the series continuously. There is a good leak on NeoGaf of what else is on offer http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?p=101030552#post101030552
