  1. Splinter Cell Blacklist has gone down to £10.19. Bargain!
  2. GB Mens were soundly beaten in the Curling and had to settle for silver in the end. Valiant effort though
  3. I love ghosting around with the silencer as you're completely invisible on the map and the noise reduction seems pretty significant too. I see lots of orange triangles all over the show and it's just so easy to waltz in and clear up before anyone knows what hits them. The suppressor is an absolute must for me now. On another note; how long after firing your weapon without a silencer do you remain visible on the map to the enemy team?
  4. Rooney signs a new 5 and half year contract worth £300,000 a week He'll be able to buy as many grannies as he wants now
  5. The way I see it is I have paid for it so I have the right to complain I have the game on PC and it is of an absolute diabolical quality which did not reflect their promises or what is expected of the most lucrative franchise in media history. I expect much better from a technical standpoint and in general game quality. I'd rather see them investing in improving the game with many lingering issues still unfixed rather than fishing for more dimes on cheap tat. I love Call of Duty and I am disappointed that I haven't been able to embrace Ghosts but they are big boys and I'm sure they can take a bit of criticism
  6. COD Ghosts is free on Steam this weekend and £19.99 for a purchase. Would be interesting too see who dropped their price first and whether the reduction inspired the other one to do the same. Either way; Battlefield 4 is the only game to play. Until Titanfall of couse
  7. I was thinking of getting this for my PS4 but at £50 it's a bit on the pricey side. Even on Steam it's £40 which is waaaaaay to much. The second one was my favourite but I didn't bother with the couple after that and AC3 was just too slow to get going.
  8. Spurs lose 1-0 and Swansea draw a blank with Napoli. Neither game was overly-enthralling but both stand a reasonable chance of progressing despite the results.
  9. Call of Duty Ghosts is free to play on Steam this coming weekend along with double XP. The game has been reduced to £19.99 Arma III £23.99 Up to 75% off Ubisoft titles including: Rayman Origins £6.49 Rainbow 6 Vegas £4.54 Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 £4.54 Ghost Recon 2 £6.49 Hawx 2 £5.19 Prince of Persia £6.49 Assassins Creed Brotherhood £9.74 Ghost Recon Future Soldier £6.49 Splinter Cell Chaos Theory £6.49 Assassins Creed £6.49 Splinter Cell Blacklist £19.49 Rocksmith £12.49 Beyond Good and Evil £4.54 Rayman Legends £16.24 Far Cry £4.54 Call of Juarez Gunslinger £7.79 Splinter Cell Conviction £7.79 Assassins Creed £ £6.49 Assassins Creed Revelations £9.74 Splinter Cell Double Agent £6.49 ANNO 2070 £4.99 Endwar £4.54 Assassins Creed III £9.74 Driver Parallel Lines £4.54 Splinter Cell £4.54 Far Cry 3 £.9.74 Far Cry 2 £6.49 Driver San Francisco £6.49 Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter £6.49 Ghosts Recon £4.54 Rainbow 6 III £3.24 Far Cry Blood Dragon £7.74 Call of Juarez The Cartel £5.19
  10. Ranking system discovered http://mp1st.com/2014/02/20/rumor-titanfall-prestige-like-mode-discovered-called-generations/#.UwZ8i_l_vKc
  11. Can't wait for that! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kb8tGX-HPQE
  12. GB are badass at Curling! If Scotland leave the UK; England will be fucked for good Curlers in the future. I won't be able to sleep at night just worrying about the delicate situation.
  13. They've released a trailer for the mini-DLC http://www.charlieintel.com/2014/02/20/official-call-of-duty-ghosts-customization-items-trailer/ So basically we're gonna have a load of Captain Price's running around? Whoopeee
  14. I'm not a premium user.. ..yet! I may indulge in the whole package this weekend as this game is fecking brilliant now and nothing would inspire me more than for EA to take more of my money
  15. Got it! Only handguns it seems but I'll have fun with these for sure. Once they're unlocked; are they unlocked forever or just a fixed period of time?
  16. Anyone claimed these yet as part of player appreciation month? I haven't so far but have til the 24th to do so anyway. They are free but does anyone know how they actually work?
  17. Are people having problems with just the SA servers or the game as a whole now? I've played a few games since the Second Assault release and haven't seen any problems on PC although I am unsure of how the SA servers are running as I don't have the content yet.
  18. Hang on, I thought Dylan was the product of a lab accident gone wrong consisting of Tennents fused with Tizer?
  19. Tip of the year from the master that is; Dr Diamond!
  20. I saw a programme ages ago which went through the strict policies surrounding things like advertisement, product placement and plugging that companies have to abide by but it seems YouTube is a grey area. The show explained that if someone was knowingly advertising a product and being paid for it; they would have to demonstrate that this was the case and not all of their opinions expressed were that of themselves or the product in question. I tend to avoid many corporate mainstream gaming sites these days as you can never be sure if what is said is an opinion generated by the writer or just been placed in at a cost by the publisher. Many avoid the subject of negatives of a title and too much emphasis is put post-release on the reliance of get out of jail patches and updates. In the old days, if a game was not living up to expectation; magazines would happily lambaste the title as they had no fear of repercussions and opted to side with the gamer rather than keeping the publisher sweet due to £/$. I tend to only watch independent YouTubers who aren't tied to a particular game or franchise. At least you'll get an honest and open opinion from them and not a 'I'm soo excited for this' scrpit from puppets like Ali-A or TmarTn. I think many people are unaware of the relationship with certain uploaders publishers have in terms of their content arrangement. Someone like the Cynicalbrit or FrankieonPCin1080HD are always on the side of the gamer and deliver a balanced and organised opinion and that's what I like to see from true gamers. I don't like this culture we see too often today where videos are favorable and unbalanced. Transparency is a key value which seems to be diminishing in the gaming arena today and at the end of the day; it's the loyal gamers that suffer.
  21. Arsenal lose 2-0 then. Pretty much a carbon-copy of last nights game. Arsenal started well and Ozil missed a penalty before their keeper was sent off and then Bayern took total control. At 0-1 it was still a decent prospect for Arsenal but that second goal is a killer for them.
  22. Seems there has been some problems since the Second Assault went live. I've read of a few people experiencing sudden problems after purchase. Hope they can fix this pronto as I don't want it to go back to how it was before = unplayable
  23. I don't know if everyone is familiar with this site but http://bf4stats.com/ is very good tool for your personal statistics in the game away from faffing around in battlelog. Highly detailed and well-organised. You can search yourself and friends profiles easily.
  24. Right, I've maxed out XP and as this is likely to be the last day of the beta; I was wondering what everyone's thought about the game are? I think this game has massive potential. It ran flawlessly throughout and everything was of a ludicrously high standard. This could go down as one of the greatest multiplayer games ever created. Just simply mind-blowing! Finally I understand what all the hype was about. This is definitely a day one purchase on PC for me. I haven't had this feeling of anticipation since the MW2 days!
