  1. I think everything has been pretty much covered now. The most important thing of gaming is people play what they enjoy most and I will never criticise anybody that still plays Ghosts regardless of my personal thoughts and disappointment of the game. I paid my money for it fair and square but it didn't reflect my hopes and expectations. If this was the last gen; I'd struggle to find a game to replace that I can play on a regular basis with friends but thankfully there is a fine choice of titles available now and in the future which is excellent for gamers and should be celebrated.
  2. I have been looking at buying BF4 Premium and there is a seller on eBay with nearly 16,000 code transactions with a website that seems very reputable and has the Origin key for £27 as opposed to £40 on the actual Origin store. The feedback is 99.5 positive and the site has not been questioned or taken down. It's a great offer but is this process entirely safe? I only purchase through the stores usually but seeing a saving of £13 for essentially the same thing seems too good to be true as with many other products from Key/Code distributors. How do these sites get codes and afford to off them at such a cheap rate and why would the likes of Origin allow a trader to sell on behalf when someone who wants something is tied to buying through their store at a fixed price of their choice? I've read a few stories of people getting banned for this process but there does seem to be some 'legit' code sellers out there but I am not sure if this is a fancy scam or if they have permission to distribute on the publishers behalf. Here is the seller in question http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Battlefield-4-Premium-Service-PC-Add-On-BF4-Key-EA-Origin-Download-Code-/131019454670?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item1e815e38ce and the website http://www.gamecard.mobi/
  3. Ah thanks!
  4. Yeah, I'm just gonna hang behind the doors and lob kits at my team trying to get in to C flag Do you get one medkit per life?
  5. Exactly. 1D like COD is just a brand that is cleverly marketed. How many people buy COD every year only to feel let down that it wasn't what they were expecting? On PC, Battlefield 4 has a steady average at any given time of 85,000 with Ghosts having just shy of 5,500 now. A bit of a far cry from the MW2 days and even BO2 when you'd easily see upwards of 100k on and the community buzzing. I really miss the good old days of this series.
  6. Holy potatoes that's gonna take ages even on a 6000 ticket server I only have 1 ribbon so far and 49 to go
  7. Explicit much? What a fatass
  8. I need to unlock the ACE 23 and just gotta do the medkit assignment now so I'll be heading to Locker whoring out the kits by doors as my team tries to get the C flag How many kits does it take to earn 1 ribbon?
  9. Looking at how many people have departed COD in general the past few months; I think most were hoping for a little bit more from Ghosts particularly as this being the biggest franchise in the industry. The formula isn't broken but that doesn't mean they can't innovate and take the game further. The fact that Ghosts has omitted so much of the good points from Black Ops 2 and even their very own MW3 has driven many on here away and in the worldwide community as a whole. Titanfall is of a similar style in terms the arcade feel but the gulf in quality between the two games is beyond ridiculous. I can understand why people still play and enjoy Ghosts but I can also see why people are moving elsewhere onto more ambitious and better quality titles.
  10. Do the consoles just have DICE owned servers?
  11. LOL! The lava didn't even move either which was kinda pathetic! I quite like Vahn but I have never seen a man get quite so excited before over a door opening or cable car moving that he ends up with a stiffy in the promo videos Can't be as bad as Tina Palacios trying to sound excited about the fact you can open a container door on Ghosts for no reason whatsoever!
  12. Shutting down forever on friday I only used it a couple of times and thought it was a complete waste of time particularly as Black Ops 2 housed much of the data available, in-game. Ghosts didn't utilise it as it had its own app. What a waste of money that venture turned out to be
  13. I find the DLC for COD stingy considering how much £££ the community has chipped into the franchise over the years and still we get 4 maps and 1 novelty plus worthless mini-DLC that is dumbing down what was a serious shooter once. Can't they give out some free maps in a full pack or something as a gesture? Counterstrike Global Offensive has over 20,000 maps to choose from in the community and we're lumbered with costly DLC and Extinction which many people don't play. Battlefield Premium seems to offer so much as a package and is great value for money in the long run.
  14. More info on Platoons here http://mp1st.com/2014/02/25/dice-introduces-battlefield-4-platoons-rolling-february-27/#.Uw0XNPl_vKc
  15. Man Yoo were bloody abysmal tonight! Not a single shot on target I don't think. Smalling and Cleverley both had shockers and the rest played way below par. United are capable of winning 3-0 at Old Trafford but on tonight's evidence, I can't see them scoring.
  16. I've been pretty one-dimensional so far in just using pretty much the AK-12 on Assault and MX4 on Engineer and the time is now for me to start unlocking more stuff through the assignments. Any ideas on what weapons are worth unlocking including the Scout and Recon classes? Cheers!

Was toying with the idea of getting this for the PS4 but at £50, I think I'll pass. Even at £27 on Steam; I am not hugely tempted. Shame
  18. The grenade kits are live now
  19. State of Decay £7.49
  20. COD and Battlefield have always been very different games but they are compared mostly due to being in the same popular genre and there isn't much competition until now with Titanfall which will be essentially going toe to toe with Call of Duty. I think comparatively; Battlefield and Call of Duty offer very different experiences with COD being more an arcade-based shooter and Battlefield focusing more on the realism and tactical aspect on a grander scale. I'm not calling BF a simulator but it does depict a more realism-focused environment. I prefer arcade games like COD as I grew up with the likes of UT, Counterstrike and Q3 but Battlefield 4 as a package and experience is streets ahead in every respect but I can understand why people still play and enjoy Ghosts. If it was 2009; Ghosts would be great but this is 2014 and having seen what games are on offer in this generation; I feel COD is dated and ultimately stale. Call of Duty has been too comfortable in the gaming market with limited competition but Titanfall will shake things up a bit and hopefully COD will improve and expand at a greater rate.
  21. New Infinity Ward = Good connection/Shit games Treyarch = Good games/Shit connection
  22. To be fair. Sennex did say this was good in the double posted thread that was deleted. He also said that Medal of Honor Warfighter was much better than BF4 also
  23. Uni is a no-go in this climate at present particularly with the lavish tuition fees which doesn't include the living costs. A few of my friends in the past few years went to university and none of them to this day have got a position in their desired field of employment and a couple of them went without work for way over a year. In the end, they just bit the bullet and got simple low paid jobs. It was a fun experience for them but they are in dimes of debt on a horrific level and bound by repayments come when they receive a job at a certain salary. Many internships promise so much but deliver little. It's just ways for companies to exploit people to make the tea If you go this way; make sure the role is detailed and consistent and that they have the determination to take you on if you are successful. Part time work is also good to start your career. It's experience and not too heavy plus you can do studies on the side or if you enjoy the job; earn more hours if possible. It doesn't have to be your career but it's money coming in and you still have time to do other things. Best thing to do is find something you enjoy and as you have parental support; you don't have too much money worries and won't need to look for something that pays high but you;ll hate. It's a dreadful working world out there at the moment and many are struggling but you're just starting your career and you have good security and lots of potential. Oh and Burger King are hiring in most places if you get desperate
  24. Just finished top of a 3200v3200 high ticket Conquest match which was very intense and tough. It lasted an hour and a half but winning was sooooo satisfying! I unlocked a fuckload too but felt too dizzy by the end to notice Grinding out a win on BF4 feels really good and you feel as if you've earned your stripes by putting in a mega shift. I used to finish top 4 times out of ten on COD but that was kinda meh as you didn't have to do too much either particularly if the opposition were poor. A few levels closer to prestige and a couple of poxy unlocks didn't feel rewarding but you just seem to get so much more satisfaction out of matches on BF4.
