I think the media are milking the non-existent racism element here and the issue should be more in regards to the heavy-handedness of the police. I've read a string of stories of white cops shooting white guys but these don't even make the local news let alone the mainstream and nobody blinks an eye when Joe Bloggs gets popped after acting in a threatening manner towards law authority. However when it's some black guy who's just committed a serious crime and the police are put into a split second decision; when they pull the trigger in that respective incident; it's essentially a 'racist attack'. A few days ago; Tyrone Harris was shot by cops in Ferguson on the anniversary of Michael Brown killing but the media were more focused on him being shot as opposed to the fact he had a gun and was attempting to murder police officers. Perhaps these hotshot criminals who think they're gangsters and badassess shouldn't put themselves into such dangerous situations where police may be enticed to use excessive force. The media are fueling the wrong fire and really driving a wedge in society and between the law that's just going to make situations like these more prominent.

If Arsenal don't pick up too many injuries to key players especially at the same time; I can see them having a very good season. I think Man Utd may take some time to gel but if they can pick up results in the meantime like today; I think they could also have a decent season. I don't think Chelsea will be able to defend their title but if they can get one more decent signing in; they stand a chance although ridding Cech to Arsenal could come back to bite them. City will be up there but I can't see them winning it although if they get De Bruyne; that'll be a huge addition. Not too sure if Sterling with thrive up there especially to justify the price tag. Not sure what to make of Liverpool yet - it really depends on if Benteke can deliver on a regular basis for starters. Should be an interesting season though.. Sunderland, Norwich and Bournemouth to go down is where my money is at. Leicester to win the league

The game really intrigued me at E3 and then I remembered it was a Ubisoft game with their usual textually enhanced BS trailers with misleading info and them skirting over key questions. It's certainly one to watch but I'd take everything with a pinch of salt until the reviews come in. If Ubisoft manage 31fps in a game; it'll be a miracle these days

This game is bloody fantastic! What a great concept and it works really well. I've played a fair few games today and the pro difficulty I've found to be ideal. Scored a few great goals and had some very hard fought matches. The AI is a bit wayward at times and it's stolen quite a few goals and screwed up some sitters but on the whole; it's great carnage throughout and no game is quite the same. I am struggling a bit with my timing and getting ahead of the ball most of the time though so more practice is certainly needed before I venture online or do season mode.

That's an interesting read Jonny and you're not too different from many people I know including myself sometimes. The good news is things can change out of the blue and any ruts you find yourself in can become a distant memory. Sounds like you're just a bit down with your current routine and are a bit demotivated to do the things you would normally think you'd enjoy. I've had some really shitty jobs in the past which ruined my social life, usual routines and just dragged me down in general. I couldn't even be arsed to play games or even go down to the pub. Sounds like you're stuck in a rut and are just struggling to get out of it. I'm also a bit OCD with money - I saved up a shitload when off sick after having an operation but am scared to spend it even though I'm living comfortably. It may be worth going to your GP as such a thing is really common especially people in the 18-30 range.
