  1. The game has currently been suspended from sale in the Steam Store. I flagged the product for 'False Advertising' after they published the statement:- "WBGames is working with the PC DEVELOPER IRON GALAXY to address the issues ASAP. Rocksteady will provide any support to get this resolved." As the listed developer is Rocksteady on their store page which contradicts what they said in their message. If I knew beforehand that this was an Iron Galaxy port; I wouldn't have fucking bought it
  2. I've just had a brief play of the game and it's a stuttering mess. The truth is all coming out now - they offloaded the PC port to a shitty studio called Iron Galaxy and they've delivered what is basically an old gen console game. As if 30fps isn't bad enough; framerate going between 10-20fps standard and then fluctuating like crazy after I edited the config file - it's a total shambles. Glad I only coughed up £21 for this POS. Hopefully they'll patch the hell out of it shortly and Rocksteady get their arses into gear and do the job they were supposed to. Feel sorry for the people that spent £60+ with the season pass but at least they can get refunds now.
  3. This makes for a fortunately hilarious video in the end - glad the cat was safe and what a crazy experience!
  4. http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/gb/en/pc/games/action/batman-arkham-knight/ That takes it down to £21 - amazing deal. Expires June 28th. VOUCHER CODE: BETHEB-ATMANG-MG40PC
  5. Think yourself lucky Phil; that Monster Game has fucked my mouse and finger up I couldn't even hold a fag earlier properly after hours of relentless clicking - broke the 1,000,000m barrier in the last few minutes but now need to buy a new mouse and use my other hand.....for smoking next few hours
  6. That's me done with the sale for another summer. Picked up;- Resonance £2.90/£6.99 The Shivah £1.99/£3.99 The Blackwell Bundle £4.49/£14.99 The Blackwell Epiphany £4.39/£10.99 Primordia £2.09/£6.99 Half Life Complete £6.74/£26.99 Ori and The Blind Forest £8.99/£14.99 The Wolf Among Us £4.74/£18.99 Metro Redux £6.79/£33.98 Garrys Mod £2.99/£5.99 Spent £46.11 Normal Price £144.89 Saving £98.78 Not the greatest of sales but I'm happy with my purchases. They'll do me a long time those games and that's if I get a chance to play them all. Glad I refunded The Witcher 3 in the end and I have Arkham Knight on Tuesday coming my way so that's gonna be another one to add to the pile. I reckon I'll crack on with that next though when I'm done with Ori and The Blind Forest.
  7. I picked up The Witcher 3 in the sale for £45 and refunded it after about 20 minutes of play. The frame rate was fluctuating like crazy and it was really choppy in places. The controls were also a bit loose and I just couldn't be arsed with it in the end. May pick it up on the PS4 for a tenner down the line but it's certainly not worth the asking price even in the sale especially with its inconsistency running on different rigs that surpass the requirements.
  8. I thought Fallout 3 was just buggered all round but it appears it does work on a few setups but not everyone's. Ah glad it works and I may get it myself before the sale is over as it was great on the 360. I bought Ori and The Blind Forest and it's fucking amazing - don't let the missus have that; give her Project Cars and keep that one for yourself Encore day today and there really ain't much left that interests me - Elite Dangerous still holding out at £30 and everything else I pretty much have that I would want. May make an 11th hour purchase of Metro Redux but I'm happy with what I've got so far really.
  9. Fallout 3 doesn't work on Windows 7 or 8.1 but New Vegas is fine for everyone I think.
  10. Project Cars £24 is tempting..
  11. Beta registration now up http://rainbow6.ubi.com/siege/en-gb/beta/index.aspx
  12. Based on upcoming games this year:- Akrham Knight next Tuesday - paid only £21 for it MGS V Black Ops 3 maybe Fallout 4 Battlefront 3 depending on release quality
  13. I'm a bit of a Half Life veteran and have all the boxed disc versions but decided just to get them all on Steam to save on the hassle of re-installing by disc - I had Half Life 2 on Steam but that is with an account from 2003 that is long gone now After playing Black Mesa; I just wanted to go back to all the HL games from the start but god knows when I'm gonna find time to finish them. £6.79 for the lot plus extra content is an unreal price too! You should half a look at Black Mesa - it's a stunning mod of the original. The Xen levels aren't finished but the core of the game is all there and it's amazing http://store.steampowered.com/app/362890/
  14. Partial scorestreak list
  15. England ladies win again - worth watching just for Toni Duggan
  16. Not the best quality video but a good indicator of the world and mechanics
  17. Yep and Treyarch's games seem to be notorious for bad bullet detection and lag. The beta should be interesting but it's a shame you have to pre-order/purchase just to get in!
  18. He's ginger and he's banged Anna Friel and Billie Piper and now he's landed a Top Gear role. He's basically some sort of god in this country and nobody can understand why
  19. It'll be a PVP fest right from the get-go I expect if the likes of DayZ and other survival games to go by. The presentation yesterday was pretty underwhelming and the game looks exceptionally poor when showcased on hardware-comparable systems as opposed to the textually-enhanced demos we've seen previous. The framerate looks shite as well so I'm expecting <25fps at best. Looks more bloody downgraded than Watch Dogs but at least Ubisoft are demonstrating the game now at face value as opposed to leaving it at the last minute to spill the beans.
  20. Only 25% off Elite Dangerous which is a bit disappointing Looks like the publishers are holding out for top dollar even though the game isn't selling strongly.
  21. I pretty much stopped around then too and not because I couldn't understand the roman numerals Oh blimey; I didn't realise they had real time combat in the latest ones - I prefer turn-based for this type of game as there is greater strategy in the stats, items and powers.
