Did you buy the season pass on Steam Joe? If so; you could get that refunded on there and just retain the base game. The season pass (which I so nearly bought) doesn't seem to be offering much in terms of material.

Yep, you can only obtain a refund through Steam if you bought it from the Store itself. It's probably not worth the hassle for other users unless the retailer has a solid refund practice in place for rare situations like these - I got lucky with GMG in all honesty. I did finish and enjoy the game when it was functioning properly but I decided to grab a refund as I was still entitled to it under the circumstances and my experience was dis-satisfactory for many hours. I would be morally mortified by doing such a crafty thing as it's not in my ethics but the PC version and the publishers' conduct was disgraceful for many so my mind is clear and I do intend to pick it up on the PS4 sometime for roughly the same price I would have paid on PC so WB and Rocksteady will still have one over on me regardless

That shouldn't be a problem or just finish the entire game and the DLC before December 31st and then submit a cheeky refund I've already got mine accepted by Greenmangaming even though I have 35+ hours on record

Treyarch has announced that in 2016, Black Ops 3 will be moddable on PC and users will be able to design maps, modes, guns and other content which will be accessible for use and sharing on internal unranked dedicated servers. This is very cool news indeed and it will be a lot of fun creating maps and trying them out. This game could turn out to be an incredible package that last for years as opposed to a few months.

Good stuff! I'm really impressed with 2205 from what I've seen and it's something I need to fill my RTS void. Just a pain that it releases at such a busy time of the year with other games but if it has a smooth launch and some positive reviews; I'll certainly grab it before the end of the year.

Kinda reminds me of the PS2 days! I'm glad I didn't pay full price for that. Reasonable gameplay but feels dated as hell. Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 - basically the PC version is a port of the PS3 one and not a direct port from the PS4 which uses the latest build of the Fox Engine. The fact the game costs full price on PC is despicable.

This game looks great and launches today but the £50 price tag and the fact it's Ubishaft is holding me back. Also the fact BO3 and Fallout 4 are on the verge of coming out; I may have to give this a miss this month but it has got me interested

Oh dear! Looks dated as hell, 30fps, stripped of most content including the paintshop and gunsmith, no season pass and no campaign mode whatsoever. Even before release, you can tell this will be an abysmal port and completely pointless. People would be better off using that money to invest in a new console or just buying something else. What a load of garbage this looks.

Good man Phil! Saw this a few weeks ago and it looks very interesting and much better than the standalone. I'll have to crack on and get it installed tomorrow I think! DayZ is on the verge of being uninstalled..

Hopefully nobody is getting the old gen version - 30fps, no campaign, no gunsmith/paintshop, no season pass option and probably no guns either by the sounds of it. It's such a watered-down port, I can't believe they're bothering although it will still sell a few copies but there's really fuck all on offer. Looking at the core content of BO3 though; there is plenty of material here including a zombies campaign so it could be a very good package.

I'm getting my copy on PC as I can run it on ultra, it's about £30 cheaper than the PS4 version and the 3rd party modding community will be utterly insane from the get-go. It'll be a great experience on all the systems especially as the consoles will have partial modding but if you have a rig that can run it; PC all the way.

Sheff Wed beat Oxford 1-0 at Hillsborough in round 2 yet Arsenal lost 3-0 there so that technically means Oxford are better than Arsenal Although we lost 3-2 at home to Barnet on Saturday

I've got it pre-ordered and I did quite like the beta but I'm still not sure if it'll stand the test of time in the long run. The game looks great and the mechanics seem pretty fun but this isn't the Call of Duty I remember and with so much emphasis on the competitive and commercial aspects now; I kinda feel a bit fed up of it all. Ghosts and AW were both shite IMO and they didn't do very well in their own right but hopefully Treyarch will deliver a solid all-round package that can salvage some of the series past brilliance. There is certainly a lot in this game and value for money to be had but I'll either play it frequently over the next few months or be bored shitless within the first month. The biggest problem with BO3 is actually Fallout 4 coming out not so long after - if that's as good as it could be; COD will be put aside for the foreseeable!

Kontrol Freeks are bloody good especially if you're coming from a 360. I'm not a big fan of the DS4 sticks but these give a bit more elevation and grip but the sticks are still a bit tight and the default turning circle sensitivity means you may have to do some minor in-game adjustments. It does take a bit of time to adapt to the pad - I still use my trusted 2006 Xbox 360 one on PC and it's still awkward reverting to the DS4 even though I've had the PS4 for nearly two years!

I borrowed it from a friend months ago on a friday evening and returned it to him completed on the sunday afternoon. I wasn't even worth my time so I felt bad he paid £49.99 for it The game looks fantastic but everything else is exceptionally poor. I finished it in just over 6 hours and the game is basically a rolling format of nonsensical cutscenes, walking around a very linear backdrop, horrible quicktime events and a few shooting sections whereby the letterbox bars obstructs your view when in cover. Such terrible game design and I cannot believe it took them 5 years to produce 6 hours worth of mundane 'gameplay'. Save your bucks for something else is my advice.
