  1. I've just watched the Advanced Warfare trailer for the first time in nearly a year and it's just streets ahead compared to the BO3 one. You can't judge a book by its cover and you certainly cannot judge a game by the trailer but despite not being a massive fan of AW; the narrative-driven, visually impressive and smartly edited reveal just seems far tidier, better structured and much more impressive. Sledgehammer really seemed to push the brand and the games's identity in their one but Treyarch's reveal was surprisingly sloppy and somewhat lucklustre for me.
  2. Theater mode returning. Matchmaking the same as BO2 (reduced SBMM structure) Beta 1-2 months prior to launch. Supply drops not returning. Design your own camo in the paintshop. 3 MP maps already announced: Combine – A Saharan research facility with open areas and tight corners. Stronghold – A Swiss chateau up in the Alps. Hunted – Ethiopian hunting lodge with water fall. PC min specs already out Min Specs: OS: 64-bit Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 CPU: Intel Core i3-530 2.93 GHz / AMD Phenom II X4 810 2.60 GHz System RAM: 6GB Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 470 1GB / ATi Radeon HD 6970 1GB Hard Drive Space: TBA DirectX11
  3. I dunno if I've outgrown COD or whether that was an exceptionally crap trailer but for me; BO3 looks utter rubbish that doesn't appeal in the slightest. Not only have they included everything that I don't like about the franchise now; the identity of the series is completely lost with all this futuristic robotic shit. With Infinity Ward up next and then Sledgehammer to look forward to; I think this could very well be the final nail in the coffin for me with this series.
  4. I'm looking forward to seeing Deus Ex Mankind Divided from them along with Just Cause 3 but all their other IP's are now riddled with DLC and Season Passes which is such a turn-off.
  5. Looks suspiciously like Advanced Flawfare. Game is current gen only so no PS3/360 versions.
  6. Box art
  7. I will pre-order; play the beta after getting access and then cancel my pre-order and only lose a fiver in the process - better than losing £50 in November only to be bored shitless come Decemeber
  8. A Call of Duty game with a beta!? First 'game' image leaked
  9. I watched Heat again last night. Great film! A bit long but excellent throughout. De Niro and Pacino nailed it and all that was missing was Stallone to top-off a great cast. Cracking scene - how the fuck they kept a straight face is beyond me
  10. Massive ETS2 bundle for £5.99 on Bundlestars http://www.bundlestars.com/all-bundles/euro-truck-simulator-2-collectors-bundle/ Ryse Son of Rome £11.66 on Humble https://www.humblebundle.com/store/p/ryse_sonofrome_storefront
  11. I hope it's not as watered-down as it looks on paper. I was expecting much more than that in all honesty. Unfortunately the only significant thing on the list that will grow is likely to be the DLC!
  12. Disgraceful move. I was shocked when I read about this yesterday. I didn't see this coming whatsoever but it seems Steam have been plotting this under the table for some time. Modding is one of the most important and thriving community assets to the industry and now Steam are monetizing it; not only will they take a line share but it could really kill off the concept as a whole. Some modders may use this as an opportunity to milk people just like the AAA industry does these days and other users may jump on the cash bandwagon and try and sell outlandish tat for extortionate rates. Reputable modders usually take donations and that's it and I'm more than happy to give money to projects that have been made with care, skill and passion. I don't want a substantial cut going to Steam after mods are made payable. I just hope that modders use sites like Moddb to not only keep the site alive but to keep modding healthy and steer well clear of Steam. Donations, praise and free content is what keeps modding alive and Steam have all but killed it in one fell swoop.
  13. Deus Ex ripoff
  14. Shadow of Mordor £14.99 Skyrim £2.49 Plus they have the Roguelike sale on which The Binding of Issac Rebirth is in for £7.36 - I got that last week for full price and it's an incredibly addictive and very well crafted game. Very difficult but an tonnes of stuff to unlock and no run ever feels the same. The replay value and long-term challenge is immense! Highly recommended purchase.
  15. Wenger will be at Arsenal until he falls of the perch and even then his ghost will be in charge of the club This story cracks me up even though it's dated now http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/ex-aston-villa-boss-paul-lambert-9050314

  17. Currys are facking caunts! We had a new heating system fitted by Southern Electric last year and got a £500 Love2Shop voucher for switching from British Gas. I went down to Currys and asked them if I could spend the voucher in-store; the moron working said 100% yes you can so I decided to grab a new TV. We spent 45 minutes filling out my details and him getting the TV from the stockroom which was painful to watch as he couldn't lift 8kg and just as I was handing him the voucher that he said yes to nearly an hour earlier, he goes; ''oh we don't accept those''. Thankfully I wondered round to Argos and got it £75 cheaper
  18. Too easy for Barcelona. David Luiz getting torn yet another butthole.. Bayern who were 3-1 down after the first leg are edging it 5-0 at HT Blimey; they've done well to get up to the dizzy heights of mid table - they were bottom a couple of months ago and been in the relegation zone all season prior!
  19. Looks bloody good! Out next month on all systems apparently so may have to check it out
  20. So much for Newcastle fans stadium boycott today - only 2,500 empty seats. Not quite the 25,000 they were expecting...not to turn up! Rodgers becomes the first manager since 1952 that hasn't won a trophy in 3 seasons for Liverpool - he's a cert for the chop no I reckon...

Q: map size? – @Bozisaur A: We have varying map sizes, from large to small, to cater to different experiences and different modes Q: 2 maps per planet: 8 multiplayer maps at launch[?] – @BFBulletin A: There will be more maps than 8, and more than two per planet at launch. Q: Will there be some sort of instant action mode with bots? – @piggy5990 A: We have a feature called Missions that allow you to play solo or cooperatively with bots on or offline Q: will two people be able to play on the same console? – @tman 34611 A: Yes, you can play our Mission feature in local splitscreen on your console, or online coop Q: Will you be able to play split-screen while playing online with friends? –@grantrichardi A: Split-screen is for local play only, so it is for when you play Missions with a friend Q: Will we be able to pilot/drive AT-ST’s? – @WynnePope A: You will be able to pilot AT-STs, as well as many more iconic vehicles, like X-wings and Tie fighters Q: options for 1st and 3rd person view? – @TheoDangerous A: When playing as a soldier, you can freely choose between 1st and 3rd person views whenever you want Q: are we going to be able to participate in space battles? – @Biggzy96 A: You will be able to take to the skies over our planets and dogfight with squadrons of starfighters Q: I don’t like the idea of day 1 dlc – @nforgrav A: The battle of Jakku is not a day one dlc, it is free content we want you all to have as soon as it is done Q: Were those graphics shown in the trailer in-game? – @Segmatron73 A: Yes, the trailer was filmed in engine, using our in-game models Q: why no prequels? – @Bumi_Bandias A: I love everything Star Wars, but for Battlefront, we have focused on the original trilogy Q: apart from graphics and online how is this different from the original games? –@dreeewmay A: It is both different and similar in many ways. This is why we have done a reboot instead of calling it Battlefront 3 Q: How to play Darth Vader, Boba Fett and co’ ? – @SangraL_ A: Heroes depend heavily on the game mode. We will tell you more about heroes at a later date Q: in the game can we play like jedi and sith? – @montiel115 A: You can play more than that, but so far we have only revealed Vader and Boba Fett. More will come. Surely there will be character/load out choices? – @TheChromeKing A: You will have great freedom in customizing your own playstyle, essentially creating your own playstyle Q: will there be a sort of progression system to level up and unlock new guns/upgrades? – @kersp3dy A: Yes, there will be plenty of things to unlock, achieve and collect. More on this will be revealed at a later date!
