  1. PUBG has passed the 1m concurrent players on at a time on top of the 10m copies sold

  3. Not surprised at all really. This is Activision afterall and they know that they can charge £50 for a game, £40 for season passes and still have £5-50 worth of in-game purchases and despite all the flack; it wont affect the brand or stop people throwing money at them. I don't really know at this time how it will impact the game but they will attempt to maximise income by putting top-end material behind paywalls I expect. It might not be as prominent or important in this game when compared to Call of Duty as that is strictly PvP where P2W matters but offering shortcuts from the grind or gear for cash would damage the whole point of the experience in Destiny 2 . If this gets any worse i.e a supply drop format is introduced; I will not buy the game.
  4. A funny and interesting look at the 'Stream Sniping' craze
  5. Post your favourites and classics
  6. Cinematics look badass
  7. Wayne Rooney's new bit on the side At least she ain't 80 and a retired hooker like the last one he had but still pretty ropey. Suppose it's the best he can do.
  8. I can't believe it's the release of TW: Warhammer 2 end of this month. I still haven't gotten over Sega's DLC antics with the first one and don't think I even surpassed the 10 hour playtime barrier it was that annoying. The second game annoyingly looks like something I'd want to play too. I am still tempted to get it if I can grab it for under £25 without giving Sega a penny direct too. There does seem to be enough meat in the base game this time around particualrly surrounding the campaign and the races look interersting and varied enough without having to rely on DLC to bolster the experience. Bloody irritating dilemma this is!
  9. France fielded quite a team tonight - Lloris, Mbappe, Kante, Pogba, Lemar, Lacazette and Griezemann - probably £500,000,000 worth. Drew 0-0 with fucking Luxembourg At home too. 34 shots. And I thought England sucked.
  10. Oxford have just brought in Jose Mourinho. Oh wait, no; his name is John Mousinho. I read that too quickly
  11. I honestly forgot this game existed.
  12. I've cranked most of my settings to high with 60 locked and that runs very well so you should also try bumping up yours before the beta ends and see how it compares to the medium/lower presets. Still keep shadows to low along with other miniscule features but bumping textures and lighting up really looks decent and doesn't impact performance too much.
  13. The movement is so much more fluid with M+K. I tried it with a controller and it immediately felt more slower and a bit clunky in comparison. Still felt great but the mouse and keyboard execution on this game is 100% perfect which is a superb achievement. I may have to crank my 770 up to 100fps+ Phil - I'm currently rolling on the high preset with 60 locked but if it's that stable at 3 digits, why not indeedy. Seriously considering getting a 1080 now..
  14. Bought the special edition on CD Keys earlier for £24.99 which felt good. FIFA 18 looks utter rubbish this year and some of the facial animations look like they came straight from Mass Effect Andromeda The only thing that seems to have changed this year is the goal nets.
  15. Played about an hour of the PC beta and it's very impressive indeed. So far it seems like a flawless and highly polished port. The game looks astonishing and runs smooth as butter throughout. Even on basic High settings at 60fps locked; the performance is unreal and it looks visually remarkable with some stunning lighting and rain effects. The M+K and gunplay mechanics are absolutely perfect too. Not too sure about the MP element as it kinda feels like a watered-down and threadbare version of Halo that was chucked in for good measure but the strike was great.
  16. Oxlade-Chamberlain on the verge of a £40m move to Chelsea. Kieran Gibbs likely to join West Brom and Man City apparently preparing a bid for Sanchez with Sterling going the other way. Arsenal could be losing some key players and will really struggle on attracting others. I'm surprised even Lacazette hasn't handed in a transfer request Wenger will probably be given another two year extention too I bet
  17. Liverpool 4-0 Arsenal! Sanchez will defo be off now and I can't see Chamberlain staying. Bet Alenandre The Cassette is regretting his move now.
  18. Former Sledgehammer employee DrDisrespect even uninstalled the beta
  19. Nivdia and AMD game ready drivers are up for the beta so download them before the beta is lauched.
  20. Reasonable tap-in goal from Sigurdsson on his debut
  21. That's probably the best CL draw there's ever been. Spurs may as well go into the Europa League now (sorry Phil) Chelsea may have to think twice about selling Costa to Athletico now with them in their group. Roma could also prove a decent side but not sure about FC Carrierbag though. Man Utd should be comfortable and so should City. Livepool will probably be alright too but may struggle to win the group outright. Celtic are fucked but they'll see some big teams for a change instead of the usual Ross County and Dumbarton. Bayern v PSG will be massive also. Barcelona and Juve in the same group which is two mega seeds again.
  22. The difference between 30fps and 60 is actually bigger than 60fps to 150 because of the ways your eyes and brain process what it is seeing. If you are accustomed to 60fps+; a drop to 30 is incredibly noticable and can cause motion sickness and headaches as you try to adjust. If you're playing Overwatch at 220fps let's say and it drops to 60; despite losing 160fps; you wouldn't notice it because your brain can't process the difference. Having a solid framerate outlay in the first place really mitigates any big drops and wont affect what is viewed on screen but going from 60 to 30fps is massive especially for a fast paced FPS where you brain is processing a millions of images and colours per second. I recently played through the Nathan Drake Uncharted Collection at 60fps which was a smooth and clean experience throughout but when I moved onto Uncharted 4 at 30fps; I could only play for a short period at a time before I began to feel nauseated at the choppiness, and blur whilst panning the camera with all the enviromental colours. That game is also a fairly static 3rd person game with cinematic aspects. In comparison; Battlefront 2 is targeting 60fps locked in 4K on the XB1X and PRO whilst Destiny 2 may struggle with 1080p native and 30fps. on the very same machines.
  23. PES 2018 Demo is available on the 30th for everyone to try.
