    Not really microtransactions but fully fledged expansions which stink of withheld content. Thankfully there is enough meat in the campaign this time around with four very diverse races each with two different campaigns within. There's also the Mortal Campaign which combines the New and Old Worlds and over 170 races which will be free to all owners of this and the original which is amazing. The first game was very threadbare but this one is a vast improvement but DLC expansions will no doubt follow but they wont be as essential to the overall experience as the first one.

    You've posted the artwork to the original Battlefront 2 game which has reminded me that Disney in response to EA have re-introduced mulitplayer support back into the original game which is excellent news! I will probably try the beta for Battlefront 2 2017 or however they are differenciating it from the classic but I'd now rather play the latter now it's back rather than the new one.

    Just played a couple of games on the PC beta and uninstalled it soon after. Simply awful I thought with clunky controls, horrible class system, terrible spawns, claustrophobic maps, bad bullet detection and just stale gameplay. That's £40 saved and will be the first Call of Duty that I don't own. This is all without supply drops too.

    I have the first Original Sin but never got round to even starting it but this game seems largely a standalone with an entirely new story that isn't connected to the past Divinity games so it's great for newcomers. You can still read-up on any lingering lore anyway but the excellcent story is pretty fresh and easy to understand so you can jump right in.

    Crumbled and pre-ordered Warhammer 2 for £32 on Bundlestars. The reviews are coming in and the game is outright amazing and a major improvement on the first. The combined campaign also releases in the coming months for owners of the first two games and should be an incredible experience. Seems that the base game is outstanding too and each race is vastly different and great to play.

    Picked it up the other day and it is definitely as good as they say. Superb narrative, fantastic gameplay and so much depth. A very well-made game and the co-op is implemented superbly. It's so refreshing to play a popular game that doesn't had microtransacitons or a season pass attached to it. It's gonna be a very successful game and one of the best of the year I reckon.

    Yep, FIFA is more about skill spamming now more than ever. The core mechanics are so basic that doing exaggerated skills is the only way to add a bit of variety into matches. FIFA 17 was okay but every match felt the same and you'd score the same goals and pull off the same moves over and over. Every match in PES feels different and the amount you can do on the pitch without childish or farcial tricks is wonderful. Also funny FIFA 18 vid

    I'm also with Virgin Media and found their service to be very good, reliable and when there has been a problem which is rare; it's been resolved very swiftly. When I read all the horror stories from other providers; I am staggered at some of them and it makes me appreciate Virgin and their consistency over the years a lot more. I have read about BT customers not having internet access for days, TalkTalk users having internet issues spanning months and Sky deliberatly confusing users on packages so they can charge them as much money as possible. It's worth giving them a call if you're having issues with your Wi-Fi as they may be able to solve it their end or have an idea what is wrong. I had some issues a few years ago and they determined that my router simply needed changing and upgrading and that was dealt with within 24 hours.

    Great point for Arsenal today at Chelsea. Actually it's a sensational result for them getting a 0-0 draw at the Bridge. Most people were probably expecting a 6-0 or something

    I've only played the MP in the Destiny 2 beta but it was a god awful experience. I was hoping for something like vintage Halo but it was just a generic load of bullet sponge shit. My theory on 4v4 is due to technical limitations. They may spew the usual PR how small teams make for better tactics and communication but that's total BS. You can be in a 6 man Raid but you can't then retain the same team for PvP as two players have to be ommitted. That doesn't make any reasonable sense especially with the devs new social ethos and it's either due to technical limitations or is simply atrocious game design by Bungie just like the catalogue of errors in the original whereby 50% of players didn't even play a raid. Has to be one or the other and I think somewhere along the lines 12 players was too much for the game to handle.

    Italy v England - more international teams are licenced this year too which includes England Haven't checked the online modes so I'm not sure yet but I'm sure there's a 2v2 and 3v3 option for MP which is new I think.

    A great game back in the day and the first one to really utilise facial motion capture that puts the likes of Mass Effect Andromeda to shame many years later. Instead of spending £30 on a remaster; get it on PC if you can as it's like £2 in the Steam Sales usually. This live blooper reel shows how impressive the technology is still today
