Yep, FIFA is more about skill spamming now more than ever. The core mechanics are so basic that doing exaggerated skills is the only way to add a bit of variety into matches. FIFA 17 was okay but every match felt the same and you'd score the same goals and pull off the same moves over and over. Every match in PES feels different and the amount you can do on the pitch without childish or farcial tricks is wonderful. Also funny FIFA 18 vid

I'm also with Virgin Media and found their service to be very good, reliable and when there has been a problem which is rare; it's been resolved very swiftly. When I read all the horror stories from other providers; I am staggered at some of them and it makes me appreciate Virgin and their consistency over the years a lot more. I have read about BT customers not having internet access for days, TalkTalk users having internet issues spanning months and Sky deliberatly confusing users on packages so they can charge them as much money as possible. It's worth giving them a call if you're having issues with your Wi-Fi as they may be able to solve it their end or have an idea what is wrong. I had some issues a few years ago and they determined that my router simply needed changing and upgrading and that was dealt with within 24 hours. -
Great point for Arsenal today at Chelsea. Actually it's a sensational result for them getting a 0-0 draw at the Bridge. Most people were probably expecting a 6-0 or something

I've only played the MP in the Destiny 2 beta but it was a god awful experience. I was hoping for something like vintage Halo but it was just a generic load of bullet sponge shit. My theory on 4v4 is due to technical limitations. They may spew the usual PR how small teams make for better tactics and communication but that's total BS. You can be in a 6 man Raid but you can't then retain the same team for PvP as two players have to be ommitted. That doesn't make any reasonable sense especially with the devs new social ethos and it's either due to technical limitations or is simply atrocious game design by Bungie just like the catalogue of errors in the original whereby 50% of players didn't even play a raid. Has to be one or the other and I think somewhere along the lines 12 players was too much for the game to handle. -

Italy v England - more international teams are licenced this year too which includes England Haven't checked the online modes so I'm not sure yet but I'm sure there's a 2v2 and 3v3 option for MP which is new I think.

Been playing PES 2018 on PC today and it's absolutely incredible! It looks amazing, plays amazing and is probably the best football game since the PES old days. A few screenshots I took using the epic Nvidia Ansel feature which allows you to detach the camera on games and take 360 screenshots:-

Nailed it Bloody amazing match and I got home in record time! Surprised there was only 67,000 there but at least the Wembley hoodoo is over.

I'm off to Tottenham v Dortmund tonight. Train to the stadium from Oxford Parkway in 1 hour = piece of piss and will hopefully be home before midnight too!

A great game back in the day and the first one to really utilise facial motion capture that puts the likes of Mass Effect Andromeda to shame many years later. Instead of spending £30 on a remaster; get it on PC if you can as it's like £2 in the Steam Sales usually. This live blooper reel shows how impressive the technology is still today

Not surprised at all really. This is Activision afterall and they know that they can charge £50 for a game, £40 for season passes and still have £5-50 worth of in-game purchases and despite all the flack; it wont affect the brand or stop people throwing money at them. I don't really know at this time how it will impact the game but they will attempt to maximise income by putting top-end material behind paywalls I expect. It might not be as prominent or important in this game when compared to Call of Duty as that is strictly PvP where P2W matters but offering shortcuts from the grind or gear for cash would damage the whole point of the experience in Destiny 2 . If this gets any worse i.e a supply drop format is introduced; I will not buy the game.

I can't believe it's the release of TW: Warhammer 2 end of this month. I still haven't gotten over Sega's DLC antics with the first one and don't think I even surpassed the 10 hour playtime barrier it was that annoying. The second game annoyingly looks like something I'd want to play too. I am still tempted to get it if I can grab it for under £25 without giving Sega a penny direct too. There does seem to be enough meat in the base game this time around particualrly surrounding the campaign and the races look interersting and varied enough without having to rely on DLC to bolster the experience. Bloody irritating dilemma this is!

France fielded quite a team tonight - Lloris, Mbappe, Kante, Pogba, Lemar, Lacazette and Griezemann - probably £500,000,000 worth. Drew 0-0 with fucking Luxembourg At home too. 34 shots. And I thought England sucked.

I've cranked most of my settings to high with 60 locked and that runs very well so you should also try bumping up yours before the beta ends and see how it compares to the medium/lower presets. Still keep shadows to low along with other miniscule features but bumping textures and lighting up really looks decent and doesn't impact performance too much.
