Shopping for TV's is a complete mindfuck and yours is buggered at the worst possible time as this isn't the best time of the year for good deals either Phil. Having said that though; there are still plenty of great TV's out there for equally great prices and you don't have to shop around too much as even the likes of Argos carry some solid stock. Definitely have a good browse at Argos and just limit your searches to maybe a couple of brands, TV's spec types and sizes just to reduce the headache but the Samsung range at Argos stands out above other retailers and brands.

No health regeration or ammo pick ups in the campaign which is good. You have to ask for a medic or grab ammo from a squad member for replenishment.

If SHG doesn't fuck it up; Activision will for sure! I'm just wondering how supply drops will be implemented and how retarded weapon variants, coloured camos and winner circle taunts will look in a game of this nature. Sledeghammer have a shite reputation in this franchise with bad design decisions and a terrible relationship with the community so I'm expecting the worst even with boots on the ground. Activision may have another very hard sell on their hands and SHG have chosen an era which may limit content income so it could be another disaster for the franchise. Be interesting to see the trailer though but a 6 hour campaign isn't going to wet my whistle much!

The game when finally released next month will be missing the single player portion of the game which will be released at a later date. Annoying as this game has been delayed numerous times already and still wont be finished on release. Bloody expensive too especially when up against Dead By Daylight which is must cheaper, highly established and offers a far more thrilling, varied and deeper multiplayer experience.

Cheers man! Cannot wait to get back into it and used to love playing sports when I was younger but then I discovered things called pubs and that's when my lifestyle changed I must warn prosepective quitters thought that I had a new addiction after stopping smoking which consisted of 9 packets of Wotsits crisps every day for a month - thankfully quit those too but only because I was sick of the sight of them and nearly throwing up on a daily basis Great stuff! I'm saving about £80 a month so far but I remember when I was on packs of 20 a day which was about £200 a month not so long ago and when I see some of the prices cigerrettes are going for now; it's disgusting. When I started smoking; you could get a decent pack of 20 for £4.50 but now my old brand costs over £10 which would be setting me back £300 a month if I was still smoking and on cigs instead. I dread to think how much I've spent in the past but what's important is what I can save going forward.

I was actually pretty shocked at unfit I became and how easy I would become breathless which was a sign not only I was smoking too much but enough was enough. Good job! I've been smoke free since December 22nd which is 4 months and it has felt so good since stopping. I never thought I'd ever be able to quit as I was so dependent on them but I just managed to find the willpower and that alone worked a treat. Not only am I saving £20 a week instead of getting 2x25g of Golden Virginia; just being able to breathe better and not having clothes stinking of tobacco has made such a difference and I feel all the cleaner for it. First week was very difficult to overcome but since then I've had zero cravings and don't think I'll ever smoke again! I did loosely explore the idea of gums and patches but I couldn't be arsed to drag myself to the doctors and after looking at how ridiculously complex the vape concept is; I thought stuff it and quit. I went down from about 15 roll ups a day to three for starters which was one at 9am, one around 3pm and one in the late evening. A decent cut back like that made a small difference and after feeling my breathing improve just by doing that; that was enough motivation to knock it on the head for good.

It'll be flavour of the month then just like the original Black Ops; it'll be dead after a couple of weeks I reckon. It's definitely nice to have the chance to revist old Call of Duty games but they just don't have the long term appeal like they used to and if anything it's more of a quick nostalgia trip. I loved BO2 and for many people, after how shit Ghosts and AW was; they played it for three years straight! I even remember that more people were playing Black Ops 2 the first weekend Ghosts was released. I'd say BO2 was probably the last good Call of Duty.

Slowdown used to be a problem on PC's in the past and you'd have to manually ensure your device was free of unwanted programs, extentions and full of other collated crap you may have used in the past and forgotten about. Nowadays; PC's tend to be auto-optimised against such things where even anti-virus programs will happily remove any unneccessary background crap that you may not know about even when your computer is idle. Were kind of at the stage where computers run themselves and you can do what you want headache free. I'm still running off a 2011 HDD at the boot takes about 15 seconds and everything else is just as rapid. Just ensure that devices are updated and are clean of unknown programs or harmful infections.

I'm very interested to see what Microsoft will call the Scorpio and whether it will be integrated into the Xbox One series or marketed as an entirely new console. Personally I cannot see how they can brand it an Xbox One as the disparity between the original and this is just way too significant however; they wont want to alientate or engrage existing Xbox adopters including S owners so they may have no choice but to integrate the overly-powerful Scorpio into their range which consists of an original machine (Grade C defunct) that plays titles like Battlefield 4 in semi-HD. They'd certainly have to tread carefully about any concerns of splitting the One consumer base and whether Scorpio-targeted titles can even run on old gen units from the first phase. The 360 generation had a range of consoles from the Premium, Core, Arcade, Elite, Slim and E but most of the differences were around peripherals rather than central hardware like how the Arcade didn't have a HDMI cable or HDD and how the advanced 360 consoles then had those built in along with wi-fi rather than a standalone adapter. The Xbox One situation is way more broad and complex and it'll be intesting to see how Microsoft play it.

I only gave that as an example of how long PC hardware lasts now when compared to a console's lifespan whilst still retaining greater quality. When architecture from 2011 can surprass consoles produced in 2016 [slim] it shows how different the industry is compared to the last gen. Quantity of games and quality of performance is also astonishing on PC. I only got back into PC gaming full time towards the end of the 360/PS3 gen and much has changed over the years and many misconceptions and stereotpyes aren't even a second thought now. You can game on free platforms, get new AAA releases for under £25, play with a controlller on a TV whilst sitting on your sofa, download and install games the same as console and even remotely, have software configure optimal settings etc. It's not half as complex or as cumbersome as it may have seemed in the past to the extent; everything can be done for you. I'd highly recommend giving it another shot especially with the amount of gamers now using both PC and PS4 to cover all bases and the amount of doors that can open in terms of a complete gaming experience.

I bought my PC back in 2011 and have only upgraded the GPU (early 2013) yet it still can play most new AAA relases on the high preset with a framerate above 60fps at full 1080p. I got my PS4 in 2014 which runs most old games at an equivalent medium preset at an average 900p with most games running 30fps unlocked and that is dated now. The PS4 pro which was only released last year will have a limited lifespan and the Xbox One S will also become an 'old gen' machine later this year. The console market is now having to move so fast we're already on 3rd iterations in less than 4 years - machines that can't be upgraded. New releases are also struggling - I got Nier Automata for my original PS4 and that is running at a low texture preset whereas the PC version would be high on my very old rig. The long loading and general performance is extremely shoddy too. The wayward and fluctuating component prices just leaves these consoles lopsided and users are having to pay a premium on pre-selected hardware which isn't cost effective or beneficial. The upscaling nature of the Pro and S will also only go so far to cover up the true standard of the core consoles. The 360/PS3 gen lasted years and was very consumer comfortable as hardware was fairly static and advanced right off the bat but now everything is accelerating and the likes of Microsoft are having to bite the bullet and build big to keep up. Also the wealth of new engines requires top end hardware and it wouldn't surprise me if new PS4/Xbox One games soon wont be supported on the original consoles from 2013 to 2016. You could probably go out and spend a few hundred and get a basic PC that will shine for the next five years and in that time; make the money back through cheaper games and free platforms. I do like the plug in and play nature of console gaming but for an overall experience and cost effectiveness; PC gaming right now is the best possible investment.

Some great specs but it's a bit overkill especially when they don't have the software to back it up. Could end up pricing the majority of the consumer base out and with Microsoft's play anywhere PC partnership with the W10 Store; if people have such money to burn; they'd be better off spending a bit more and getting a monster PC in return which can be upgraded unlike the Scorpio. Bit surprised at the 1tb HDD too with it not having a SSD also. It will certainly be a powerhouse regardless and it'll be interesting to see how Sony respond. The PS4 Pro was supposed to be the final interation of this generation from Sony but even that will seem dated come the end of the year so we could end up having a PS4 Pro 2 or even Playstation 5!

Really looking forward to E3 this year. I'm hoping to finally see gameplay footage of Cyberpunk 2077 along with Read Dead Redemption 2. Still got to wait for the confirmed games listings which should be revealed soon but the likes of Destiny 2, COD WW2 and a new Assassin's Creed are all but certs to be there. Wouldn't be surprised to see a sequel to The Division be revealed also. EA once again wont be appear as they are hosting their own event with Star Wars Battlefront 2....2 likely to be their flagship title.

I got this from my parents for Christmas 1997 back when I was a teenager and it will forever remain as one of my most favourite consoles ever. The games were bloody pricey with cartridges ranging from £39.99 (game was likely old or crap) all that way up to £64.99. Whatever games you had; you certainly got your money's worth out of them though as some could be played for hours at time for months on end. I probably played Goldeneye for over 500 hours over 3 years yet today I could probably complete the missions in well under an hour. Crazy to think multiplayer back then was 4 players with their own controllers bundled onto a sofa on a 12 inch TV squinting at a corner of the screen. Great days though! I did amass a decent collection of games though; off the top of my head I had the likes of Extreme G, FIFA 98, ISS 64, Super Mario 64, Zelda: Ocarina of time/Majora's Mask, Laylat Wars, Mission Impossible, Turok, Doom, F1 World Grand Prix, Banjo Kazooie, Yoshi's Story and Perfect Dark plus others I'm sure I've forgotten. Still have all of these today dotted around in my parents loft! I don't think Nintendo have ever matched those hights since despite some very popular consoles/handhelds but it's great to see them still have a major foothold in the industry unlike Sega who went from a major competitor back in the 1990's to a now mainstream game publisher.
