  1. Big improvement from Arsenal today losing 2-0 at home to Man City. If this was under Wenger, it would've been 0-3! Chelsea next for them...
  2. It's another TmarTn-style apology minus a dog
  3. Played a few matches so far and I'm really happy with the beta as it's so bad that I've just saved myself £40. Even 5v5, it's so erratic and convoluted - there is just so much going on that unless you are part of a team who are communicating; tactics just go out of the window and everything is a mess. + The movement feels fluid albeit still leaning towards advanced rather than BOTG - TTK is a joke - Spawns are horrendous - The HUD is littered with shit - The interface is a fucking mess - Maps are ok but it feels like it's just lane 1, lane 2, or lane 3 - Manual regen/insta heals just ruin ranged combat - Gameplay is a bit exhausting, frustrating and boring - Visuals are very dated as is the engine - Too many needless changes for the sake of it that didn't even need changing - Mini map is confusing as hell - Snipers are OP - shoot someone 3 times in the head and they live to kill you in one shot to the shin! - Headglitching is rife on some maps The TTK is probably the biggest dealbreaker as I shoot someone for ages, land plenty of hits, finally kill them yet before I can heal or gather my thoughts, someone else kills me. Every engagement is tiring and long-range battles are pointless as players can heal in comfort sending shootouts back to square one minus a shitload of bullets. If you use an AR to combat this; SMG rip in CQC so it's just a waste of time. If the enemy isn't within a certain radius you may as well not bother. I'm going to give it another shot tomorrow but I can't see my experience improving as the fundamental problems are set in stone and are just too prominent. There's just so many unnecessary changes and bizarre inclusions that are ripped out of more appropriate games that look so out of place here. It's like Treyarch have just got carried away stealing innovations from other games that they've lost sight of what COD is and why they want to include such changes. This is not a game I'd expect from them in a 3 year cycle and for me, they've gone from the franchises most trusted and reliable developers to a bunch of poachers who are out of ideas and don't even know what the fuck they are doing anymore.
  4. Blimey, they've got so desperate they are having to resort to copying Battlefield Hardline!
  5. Weekend 2 details https://charlieintel.com/2018/08/10/black-ops-4-private-beta-changes-for-weekend-2/
  6. Oxford have signed a player called Tsun Dai. Wonder if he'll play Satur Dai? Tottenham have also spent less money on players than Forest Green Rovers.
  7. I mean this dev event will be called TWAT if their name began with a T😏
  8. Good job the developer's name isn't spelt with a 'T'...😎
  9. I don't get hyped for games much these days but this one I'm particularly looking forward to now.
  10. I believe so. I've only tried it on PC but I think it's available on consoles too right now.
  11. It starts on Saturday around 5pm GMT I think and runs until Monday. It may start early but I probably wont get on it until Saturday evening or Sunday afternoon.
  12. Oh well, better give it a go. Gotta install pissing Blizzard/battlenet bollocks first.
  13. It's available to download now! Just played a few matches and it looks and plays amazing
  14. Microsoft throwing the money around again. Their stance is, if we can't make exclusives we'll just buy them instead. Had they invested in studios in the last gen instead of relying on Halo, Gears of War and Call of Duty time exclusivity, they wouldn't have to be running round trying to snap up any affordable studio that isn't owned or linked to Sony. It would be a good move for them but a bad move for gaming.
  15. This is the reality when photoshop isn't there to bail you out...
  16. Yep! They spend months hyping up games and receiving money for paid priority placements plastered all over the site and then give these games medicore review scores contradicting all the publicity the said games received previous. I remember when the videogame media was in the gamers interest but IGN are only in it for the money cutting deals with publishers and grabbing clicks. Back in the day, if a game was shit, it got no publicity no matter how big the brand or who the publisher was. Now whoever pays them with whatever product; it gets publicity guaranteed. Glad they got held to account for this review debacle though - it's only a small consolation but it fuels distrust to the IGNorant people who still swear by them.
  17. LOL Go here to support the real reviewer
  18. Jesus christ, who designs this shit?
  19. Gary Bowyer leaves Blackpool after one match!
  20. Wolves sign Adama Traore for £18m from Middlesbrough Newcastle sign Solomon Condom on a season long loan from West Brom and have sent Dwight Gayle the other way in the same deal. I would've rather kept Gayle in all honesty.
  21. Best phone of all time
  22. I've heard and read a lot of feedback that say the classic/traditional COD modes don't work very well with the maps and general gameplay design. Matches certainly don't look like they flow very well either from the footage I've watched - spawn, die, spawn, die, spawn, die etc... and the maps have a very limited and linear design. One video I watched said that AR's a absolutely useless as is ranged combat as you're shooting a whole clip into someone trying to land bullets against someone and all they do is cover-heal and then it's back to square one. SMG's seem to be the only viable gun aside from close-ranged sniping (quickscoping) because of poor sight lines, high health compounded with dodgy bullet detection. Double kills seem to be rare unless you camp and pray you don't have someone spawn behind you.
