  1. 3-2 FT - it had to happen and Newcastle came out camped in their own area so they deserved to get beaten after being so negative. Sanchez has probably saved Jose's job with that winner.
  2. It's capped at 120fps on PC at launch which should be routine for most mid-range cards even on max graphical settings. Even the PS4 Pro and XB1 X isn't expected to make 60fps locked and no will the MP which will be a first for COD.
  3. HT Man Utd 0-2 Newcastle. Has a manager ever been sacked at half time before?
  4. Mourinho to be sacked tomorrow if they don't beat Newcastle? The way it's going, they'd probably be better of having Steve Bruce in charge.
  5. A graphics card and a love letter - not bad😎
  6. Militia The complete list is finally assembled plus the upcoming Nuketown. Frequency: A covert listening station deep in the mountainous region of Hunan Province is being used to track strategic targets across the globe. Contraband: Surveillance of an international arms smuggling operation has uncovered this shipping hub on a remote, uncharted island off the coast of Colombia. Seaside: An anti-government protest in this quaint coastal Spanish town grew out of control and forced a military shutdown. Payload: A defensive ICBM launch facility deep in an Icelandic mountain range has been infiltrated by hostile forces attempting to steal a nuclear warhead. Hacienda: A lavish vineyard estate situated on a quiet lake in the Spanish countryside, home to a high-ranking crime syndicate boss. Gridlock: A Japanese metropolis whose city center has been jammed up by a bank heist gone wrong. Arsenal: Hostile covert ops on a manufacturing facility of a powerful North American military defense contractor means someone may have stolen the keys to the castle. Icebreaker: A long lost Nuclear submarine in the Arctic houses a uranium supply which a Russian unit has come to salvage. Morocco: Rebels in a small Moroccan village are using government military supply planes as target practice as they fly over the surrounding Sahara Desert. Militia: Anti-government extremists backed covertly by a Russian cell are stockpiling weaponry in a remote region of Alaskan wilderness near the Bearing Strait. Jungle: Black Ops Flashback – The heat is on as Cold War forces collide in the sweltering depths of the Vietnam jungle. Slums: Black Ops Flashback – Street battles rage in head to head heat through the center of a run down Panama neighborhood. Firing Range: Black Ops Flashback – US Forces gear up for red team/blue team combat exercises in this Guantanamo Bay military base. Summit: Black Ops Flashback – Cold War surveillance is at its peak above the clouds in the mountaintop listening post in the Ural Mountains.
  7. I didn't watch either game but its two bad results for the English clubs - Spurs weren't expected to win and the Inter defeat was crucial but allowing Barcelona to get 3 points could prove critical. Need back to back wins against PSV and then beat Inter at home to really turn it around. Also a damaging result for Liverpool by not getting anything from the game and allowing Napoli 3pts in what will be a very tight group. Back to back wins would be ideal against Red Star and then a point against either PSG away or Napoli at home should be enough.
  8. Slums up your bums
  9. Shadow Warrior 2 free on GOG https://www.gog.com/game/shadow_warrior_2
  10. Shadow Warrior 2 is free on GOG. Spread the word!
  11. Icebreaker also announced
  12. Aston Villa have sacked Steve Bruce after one win in 9 games despite only being two points off the playoffs. I think it's a bad decision but they are really paying the price for not going up last year. Not sure if sacking him will solve anything though as they have to pay him off and source a new manager. It's amazing how much financial shit they are in and could easily end up like Sunderland and Charlton. Not even bumper crowds can mitigate the loss of the Premiership income and their huge outgoings. Retaining Jack Grealish in the summer instead of taking £20m and paying John Terry huge bucks last year is two decisions that could prove fatal in the long run.

    Hmmm

I am concerned about Anthem because it looks very generic, linear and incredibly underwhelming. It's a live service game made by declining developers with ideas poached from other games that doesn't offer anything unique or original. The developers are failing to convince with the concept and long term strategy and they seem to be looking for outs so they can go back to work on Dragon Age and Mass Effect. A Destiny format with Titanfall aesthetics and The Surge mechanics is a mortifying combination. Add a live service foundation into the mix plus BioWare's current reputation along with EA as publisher and it has all the hallmarks of DOA.
  14. Apparently the pre-loaded games are the ones ones going to be available so there's gonna be no classics like Gran Turismo, Metal Gear Solid or Resident Evil. I know licencing is a factor here but the device is a bit of an underwhelming rip-off especially as you can't add to it.
  15. Firing Range
  16. Two more maps showcased. Glad Summit is like the original again as also remastered in BO3 DLC rather than a horrible re-imagining like we saw in BO2. Morocco looks a bit cartoony though.
  17. In other words he saw the initial backlash and changed his mind😎
  18. I can only assume that with the game split into 3 with Zombies, core MP and Blackout that they didn't want the community separated any further. I think they also have some deluded pride about this health system and armour in place and don't want that being diminished by alternatives. Either way, 150+50 health + bad bullet detection/shit netcode could make it an infuriating experience all round especially in one-life Blackout.
  19. West Ham 3-1 Man Utd Bet they regret sacking Moyes all them years ago😎

    FIFA 19

I've watched quite a few matches of the final game and it looks like they've toned down a lot of the erratic mechanics that were present in the beta and demo. The ball physics don't look quite as farcical either. The shooting still needs to be nerfed - some dude playing a career as Macclesfield with youth players only in his team managed to score a string of blinding goals and so did the AI. If they tone that down then we'll be getting closer to a reasonable representation of football. PES is still way ahead in gameplay, ball physics and animations for me but the very outdated presentation and pathetic AI is severely dragging down that brand where they desperately need to overhaul that as much as they have the gameplay in recent years. If only there was a game with FIFA's authenticity and PES's gameplay....
  21. Here's another channel which does decent updates
