I enjoyed playing minecraft on console but did miss the more social side of it. If there's a few of us then I could get it on pc and a server could be fun.

I know we have some road cyclist on here but do we have any that like the muddy stuff? I got in to it a few years ago through my brother in law, honestly I'm still not that good at it and mostly stick to more cross country riding the downhill. Luckily for me there is a big park near which while there isn't any specific trails there is always some fun routes through the trees. If that doesn't take my fancy then Cannock chase is only 30 minutes away where I can be found riding the red trail. For those who don't do biking or don't know Cannock, this is the trail I usually ride (this isn't me in the video though). More cross country switch backs to begin with and spend most of the first half climbing with the second half being more flowing downhill. It is especially fun after the campsite which is around 44 minutes in to this video. And this is my bike Nothing too special but it does me, it's mostly original but full spec is; Kona Lanaii 2011 Hardtail Race face seat post (bent the original - whoops) Mavic Crossride wheels Specialized Purgatory tyres Specialized seat I really need up change my brakes and chainset too as they are original and showing signs of wear but no idea whats parts yet. I'm not sure what you have watched but Netflix - the Marvel series, especially Daredevil, if you're in to those shows. The others are ok but DD is the best. On prime - Man in the High Castle is brilliant and Lucifer if you want something that's easier watching. As for films; Why him - Nope! Just don't even bother. Sully - I wasn't sure going in but well worth a watch. I didn't know about the stuff that went on after the crash but it was interesting to find out. Well directed and written and Tom Hanks plays the roll fantastically too.

Yeah, I think 1 or 2 rounds of 5-8 points is a good amount then on to 'proper' games As for when, I'm up for playing some CaH before any gaming session.

That is how I took it from watching the feed and subsequent videos from people who were at the event. It is a shame that they have made it this way though. Bungie said the raids were for us to figure out until people did it in way which they didn't like. This just seems an extension of you can only play it Bungies way!

Simply - MW2 minus One Man Army and quick scoping. Lane maps - all the boost jumping opened up the maps to many different ways to move around but going back to boots on the ground I would love to see the maps go back to the lane style maps. For me, getting shot in the back because of the 5 different places you can be seen from, is one of the most frustrating things. Remove quick scoping - CoD for a long time has had quick scoping and there has been a few false starts of removing it but no-one has been brave enough to remove and it keep it out. I understand the need for some aim assist but if you want to fire a sniper you should have to fully scope in. OHK nerf - Almost all snipers are OHK irrespective of where they hit you which needs removing in my opinion. Headshot and maybe torso hits should be OHK but no way should getting shot in the toe be a OHK. Recoil - they just need to add some! The guns should not be laser accurate and there should be some skill in controlling the recoil. Fix multiplayer latency issues - Up there with being shot in the back is being insta-killed. I think everyone has experience this at some point of walk round the corner and die before you can react yet the kill cam shows you walk round the corner, enemy aims, sprays around a bit and kills you. I don't think dedicated servers are the holy grail to fix all problems but it should improve things greatly. Even if they don't want to go that far then go back to MW2 style - yes the host had an advantage but everyone else was equal. I'd even accept tighter geographic limits - I used to play regularly with someone with a netduma so they could limit to only UK players and the difference was night and day. Good kill streaks - it seems of recent years the kill streaks have seen nerfs. Presumably to not have them so OP that it stops being 'fun' and everyone quits. However the higher kills streaks should be OP! If you have managed to get a 12, 15, 20 etc. player kill streak then you are dominating the other team anyway so OP killstreaks wont change much. The NUKE! - Nothing better than hitting that 25 player kill streak and calling in that nuke. Claymores - I miss them I also miss scavenger resupplying them too so you could plant many of them. That's all I can think of right now but I'm sure there are other things too.

Am I the only person who generally doesn't notice the difference? A side by side comparison, switching from 60 to 30fps or even if I concentrate on it etc. then I can see the difference. However, once it actually comes to playing the game and my mind is more heavily focused on oh god! don't die! don't die! then I really don't notice. On the subect of fps, if due to the size of the level, draw distance, lighting and particle effects etc. they can't hit a constant 60fps I'd much rather have a fixed 30fps as vary frame rate is much more noticable. Not that Bungie managed that in D1 either but here's hoping.

Wouldn't the logo just be the one at the top of the forum or the infinity controller? As this would fit in with current logo. The banner would require some work though as the FG logo doesn't fit a rectangular banner. I'll have a go at putting something together too. It is worth noting an end screen version of the logo is also good.

Discord is a PC / Phone app and as far as I know there isn't a PS4 app so it would have to be seperate. Not a perfect solution but the best solution if there is more than 8 online. I still don't understand the 8 player limit but oh well.

Welcome back Everyone has trouble at times balancing life and gaming but good to see you back. Also nice to see another FG'er planning on getting the new CoD.

Whatsapp has been discussed already so not point me rehashing that. Small forums always suffer the catch 22 of people need to post for their to be activity except because there isn't any activity people don't post. Ultimately I think all you can do is keep posting and the people who want to be here will be around and will post and activity will (hopefully) lead to more activity. I do agree with @NCA-Paendrag that there hasn't been that one game to bring everyone together. I do feel since CoD's demise the whole gaming community has fragmented - there are people who I played CoD with every day for several years back in the day who I haven't played with in probably over 2 years now. Maybe it is just CoD being crap or just me getting old but to use a common phrase it just seems so much of gaming is toxic. I think, like a few in here, that Destiny 2 will restore some of what has been lost though - it is a very communial game so depends on but also can help build a community. I think most know I came over from OCUK and with the launch of D2 it opens up the possibility of some more crossing over or even with the clan features in D2.

Benchmarks aren't the whole story but a quick Google suggest the G4600 originally suggested and the i3 6100 on Scan come out about the same in terms of performance. G4600 though is cheaper so has a much better performance per £.

As questioning as I am of D2 I will most probably end up getting it so happy to try and get the FG clan to a better place. Well....once Bungie's site works well enough to actually allow me to join the FG clan anyway.

Yeah the number plate on the Honda is a bit odd but not sure why or how to fix it. I've never timed mysef but for the photoshop probably 50-60 hours if you include all the time to find donors etc. The 3D model is probably waaayy over 100 hours but thats learning a new program too. I do like the movie car posters and certainly something to consider on the wall of the man cave.

I suppose it makes sense to mandate the odds are released, especially in game like OW where you by them, as it is in effect gambling. Stats and odds are horrible to work out but I get it to a 0.00003% chance but not sure it's right. Whatever though, statistically speaking it probably has happened a few times when you think of the number of copies sold and the amount of loot boxes you get. There must have been 10's of millions if not 100's of millions of loot boxes earned/bought. Edit: Or it could be a 0.0007% chance? I think I was right above though.

Hard is like normal just everything is more! The biggest difference is having 9 servitors rather than 3 so there has to be both more and clearer communication. Challenge mode I did once and vowed never again. It's like hard but with 100x the rage inducing, controller breaking, tv smashing moments. You can look up the specifics if you want but basically challenge an empowered has to slam one of the empty teleport pads before you can slam Aksis. The problem is that obviously where Aksis goes is random, which empty pad you have to slam is random and you know how tight the timing is to slam Aksis. The slight advantage is that everyone gets their super every teleport so with a couple of hunter tethers, titan WoL bubbles and warlocks viking funeral Aksis goes down so fast.
