Better raids would always be welcome. I agree with the mystery even with little things like the Outbreak Prime quest with a large part of the community trying to find them all, work out what they are all for. This could apply to the normal game too like with the Blank Spindle. Not everything has to go somewhere or do something but reward exploration and players being inquisitive. I'm actually the opposite to you regarding year 1 weapons. Some of the weapons were brilliant and it is good they have brought them back for one last hurrah! However, I am quite looking forward to having an empty vault to start collecting again. Though that does remind me, I would like for them to bring back elemental primaries, even if they carry on being exotic's like now. I agree with the vault actually, that's another one for the list of 'done outside the game but should really be in the game'.

Morning all, So with more information coming out this week (think its the 18th) about Destiny 2, what is on your wish list? Destiny 1 with a few tweaks or something completely different?w For me, vanilla Destiny had its faults which weren't really improved in the early DLC but by The Taken Kind and Rise of Iron things were much improved. So I would like to see something similar to Destiny 1 but with a few tweaks; Night Fall and Raid matchmaking - It effectively already exists with the likes of LFG and r/fireteams so why not include it in the actual game. Maybe add some simple filters to it like light level as it is so important for raids and night falls. Though any limits would need to be carefully applied so we don't end up in a 'you have to have gjallahorn to raid' like early Destiny. Include the Lore / Backstory in the game - It has always seemed an odd choice to me that to learn the backstory and history you had to look outside of the game. Again this seems to be an issue that has somewhat been fixed with the more recent expansions but I would still like to see more of it being included actually in the game. Better social arrears and more social functions - Destiny is supposed to be this 'FPS MMORPG' except it, well, it isn't. I can appreciate the limits on the game, especially as Destiny 1 was on legacy/last gen consoles too. However currently we are limited in the tower to waving or dancing at each other unless your message them or invite them to party chat but not have this in game? Obviously it would be unworkable to hear everyone all the time but something simple like everyone is muted but when you R3 to inspect you can 'unmute' them. This especially applies to the 'social' areas on planets - go to Court of Oryx or Archon's forge and there is no easy way to communicate or team up. More Variety and customisation - Destiny has possible hundreds of weapons now and to me it all feels too crowded. There is a limited number of archetypes but because there are so many weapons you get drops and it often feels like well that just like this gun or that gun. Very few guns actually feel special to have and to use and I think it would be good to have guns the are special, that feel more unique even if it means less guns in total. Included in this, I would like to see more clan customisation (yes, I know I still need to switch to FG ) like custom emblems, logos, shaders. Maybe even go as far as being able to apply your claim logo to your armour and weapons. Better story / campaign missions - Bungie got better at this but even in the most recent expansions it wasn't great. Each missions too easily falls in to one of two categories; stand and defend a door/area from waves of enemies or stand around an area shooting at bullet sponge bosses. I don't think this is helped by having to run through the same areas over and over to get slightly different parts of the map for each mission. I could understand this more if, when we landed on each planet, we were in a base or some sort of safe zone but its just a random part of the planet. Further more, replayability is seriously hampered by there being no variation to the enemies - you know going back in to a mission you will face the same enemies, from the same doors, at the same time each and every time you play.

It was indeed, certainly something to play for a round or two before moving on to other games. Definitely the more the merrier though, it was fun havin some from OCUK but I think everyone really needs to be chatting together.

The extra cards are added through cardcast but don't know where they get the decks from. We can come up with some and I can have a look about actually adding them.

Yeah, you can burn through heavy and special so quickly that I think by the end we were all only using primary. Chaos dogma is great for it though due to amount of bullets you get back with triple tap and double triple tap.

Good point about free sync, I hadn't thought of that.

I think the 1060 would be too much, around the price of the rx470 new then even second hand you're looking around the gtx980. Though I'm not right up to date with the gpu market so don't know how a 980 benches against a 470.

Yeah if you have any funny clips, there were plenty of times people were laughing and swearing but I couldn't see what was going on so didn't include them.

The expansions ones are separate I believe so if you get all the vanilla Destiny trophies you should get the platinum. I'm missing a few from the expansions but I think for the most part they are complete a certain questline or something so shouldn't be too difficult. As for flawless, I'm not sure what they have fixed in Crota but it certainly was the easiest to do. When I got it, we had a Bladedancer Hunter with Don't Touch Me gauntlets with near constant invisibility run the maze solo. After that we did it properly though being so over-levelled on the normal raid Crota goes down in 1 sword so it is easy.

That you was your first GTA Racing sessions with us? A bit of a baptism of fire there then GTA Racing is nothing like normal racing and the party chat makes 100x funnier.

I should be available all night to gaming and happy to get some raiding done. We also need to get you through Wrath of the Machine at least once Lee. We might as well grab the Outbreak Prime quest for you too while we run through it as it only adds about 10-15 mins to the raid time. Though the questline for the gun takes a while and requires another completion of the raid.

We were discussing this last night, I think the one most people will be missing is the flawless raider. I already have the platinum but happy to help with flawless raider or any other trophy.

I can't watch the video at work but guessing it is one of the sous-vide machines you stand in a saucepan? I was looking at them a few months ago but never got one so I'll be interested on your opinion of it.

I'll be up for some more raids, I haven't touched Destiny in a while so I'm rusty but enjoyed the other night.

Absolute blast last night with so many people on, the stunt cars are so fun to race. Lee knocking me off several times with his parachute, Wat_Tyler picking the perfect time to tap me so I rocket off in to oblivion, Diddums being a cunt every race especially to stretch who couldn't speak I also think i have two races where there is no talking just Lee laughing! It's also nice that racing is a nice little earlier too.

Afternoon all, I think it would be a laugh to get some of us playing Cards Against Humanity as the banter that goes on in party chats and whatsapp it seems a game made for us. Some details; What is Cards Against Humanity? It is a sick, twisted, despicable, awkward and most importantly hilarious card game for up to 8 people. How do you play? Simply a player (called the Card Czar) reads out a black card which will have a question or one or more blanks spaces on. Everyone else plays white cards as suggestions as the answer to the question or to fill in the blank(s) of the black card. The Card Czar then picks the card they consider the 'best' card(s). If your card is chosen you get an awesome point and it the first player to get x amount of awesome points that wins. The next player then becomes the Card Czar and reads the next black card out. Why is this so funny? Winning examples such as (underlined is the blank spaces); Lifetime presents White Privilege the story of Not giving a shit about the third world. This just gets more irritating, I can get rid of the hiss/noise/static in the voice recording by plugging my mixamp power directly in to the wall (rather than usb from the ps4) so was happy I had cracked it. Though playing Destiny last night, doing this then means the party chat hear it instead to the degree even with my mic muted it was enough to activation symbol in party chat. As above, I'm not up on audio side of thing but I think it is a ground loop issue so picking up an isolator today to give a try. It's only a few quid so even if it doesn't work its not the end of the world.

I agree Stretch, VoG is still the best raid in the game closely followed by Wrath of the Machine in my opinion. Crota and Kings Fall you can carry people and set them easy tasks like stand their shooting rockets or sniping but WoTM and more so VoG requires everyone having a role and being on it to get through it. It was good fun though and would be good to do it again, just a shame we wont have too long to enjoy all these adept primary's. And yeah thanks you lot for all dying on me! Like VoG isn't bad enough to come back to having not played it in about a year to then be a lone survivor - Good job us Warlock's are the master race is all I'll say

Ths hiss seems to be a ground loop issue which I have managed to mostly remove it and a low pass filter in audacity removes it entirely. It is still audible though if I use Elgato capture software so ordered a ground loop isolator which will, fingers crossed, sort that out. As for the video, maybe once I have it sorted out as I want it however, if you seatch for record chat with mixamp you get a lot of results. It just seems outside the Astro community it isn't widely known.

@tronic44 Sorted it! I can now record voice chat as a seperate audio channel including my voice! Bow down to my brilliance! Well, really, I just found out that the new astro mixamps have a 3.5mm stream out, plug straight in to line in on pc and set line in as commentary in capture software and bobs your uncle. Unfortunately it isn't perfect, at any higher volumes you can get a lot of hiss but far easier than having to use a second mic.

There are several reasons I prefer consoles to PC when it comes to gaming. However if consoles continue as they are and especially new generations released so close together then the benefits become questionable. Spending £400 on a console every 7-8 years isn't too bad, £400 every 4 years though? I think at the point I would have to seriously question putting that £400 in to a GPU instead.
