    Lemmy had a distinctive voice and he certainly had presence but he didn’t have the power that Dickinson/Plant/Gillian et al have/had. Though I’d say Motörhead really fall into a different category to Iron Maiden, Zepplin, Deep Purple etc. On the subject of unique voices, it’s one of the reasons I like Joakim from Sabaton.     My last (at least 3) mobos haven’t come with a speaker and I don’t remember one at Dave’s. Also Dave said he doesn’t hear a beep which usually there’s one to signify handing off to windows. Dave said on whatsap he tried a hdmi cable and that didn’t work either so a speaker would allow us to maybe have a better idea if whats going on. @Diddums can you remember if we set the pre oc ram settings?

    The spawns are shit but they seemed slightly less shit the other night. It should be a hard rule of if someone is looking at the spawn point it shouldn’t spawn you there.

    I don’t think I’ve ever seen this though quite funny seeing how young everyone looks. It looks interesting though potentially depressing as, from the trailer, the points it makes are still relevant today.

    I managed to fit this is last night but too late to post anything about it. I can’t really add anything to Elliott’s comments above. The ending does detract from the movie which is a shame. I wonder if a better, more fitting ending, would have been that everybody dies at the crossroads.

    Yup, watched this yesterday. The amount of work that has gone in to LTT to turn what was a hobby to such a profitable business is impressive. Though it is understandable that the events he mentions would change his perspective on life. I don’t agree with everything he said but you have to appreciate his candour. Not many youtubers/business owners/famous people would be so open about things.

    In that case, may I suggest also downloading AC Content manager, Sol mod, shaders patch and then add whatever mods you want from Race Department.

    Probably more interest to @phil bottle but Assetto Corsa is on sale in Steam at the moment and is reduced to £3. Well worth it in my opinion - online is a but empty these days but the amount of (mostly free) mod tracks, cars, shaders etc. mean there’s plenty of content.

    With only a couple minutes thought, the only one I can think to add to the above is Malcolm Reynolds from Firefly. Though I could add all the main cast from Firefly or most Nathan Fillion roles.

    Reading the synopsis of this the other day I realised I had seen this. I thought the ending was Inglorious Bastards but got it confused. I obviously don’t remember it too well though so will re-watch it the weekend.

    Sorry, the axe to grind shop is next door. Siege is a terrible example considering one of their patches bricked consoles.

    While the maps do have there problems this game I think some of it is rose tinted glasses. COD 4 considered one of if not the best COD, played good but the community has changed and s even the remastered is so campy and show. Not to mention there were some not so great maps in COD 4 too. It was just you rarely got people camping though when you did get were a pain to kill.

    Yeah, time can be the enemy especially with some of these mod packs as it takes lots of work to get anywhere. Still, the offer is there if you ever want to join or even if you just join for a tour or whatever.

    Morning all, This is more of a PSA than anything else. The server is currently running Sky factory 3. In the next day or 2 I will be switching it for the Crack Pack 3 mod pack. The best time to get in to a modded world, in my opinion, is when everyone is new to it so you can discover things together and don’t feel left behind. So, Plumber Dave and I will be on it but if anyone else wants to join let me know as I’ll need you username to whitelist you. If you want to join and need help with setting up the modpack I can also do that.

    I’ve not seen this one so looking forward to watching it. Looks intense but then I think war films/shows should be. I will report back I’ve watched it.

    Obviously at Rich’s discretion but I think it depends on the game really - something like DayZ are probably going to be longer clips whereas a game like CoD the clips are probably shorter overall though if you’re talking trick shots then they could be only a few seconds potentially.

    I’d say it is needed as it ties in to the rest of film nicely. Hanna says about not having heard music and while it’s not the first time she here’s music the whole scene is calm and relaxing which provides a juxtaposition to the rest of the film and to Hanna’s life. You can read further in to it too with Hanna having the test result showing she is abnormal with this scene highlighting that as Sophie is being a normal/stereotypical teenager. It also provides some extra scenes on Hanna and Sophie becoming friends. In the end I think it all serves the purpose to humanise Hanna too. She was brought up to basically be a weapon and to kill Marissa. By the end though her experiences are the reason she tries to walk away from it all. This fails and Hanna ends the film with how it started with shooting the deer.

    It's lent forward 45 degrees so the reflection you see in the mirror is the floor. They show you how it's done with the rabit in the box trick 🙂 Obviously if you get close enough you'd notice but for plot reasons they didn't.
