  1. Ha, I thought it was FA Cup games, wrong weekend entirely. It was my mum's 65th birthday this weekend, remembered just in time
  2. I came across a piece by BBC on Star Citizen this morning. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-35555086
  3. I'm going to have to manage my life very carefully when this comes out, a mate of mine is saving to buy a PC just so he can play it. Rome 2 was a mess when it launched, let's hope for no repeat of that debacle.
  4. Think I'll stick with Arma 3 Desolation for the time being. They added Taviana this weekend, which is my all time favourite DayZ map.
  5. The attention to detail is commendable and it looks like they are putting in a lot of effort to that end. Didn't realise that they've been working on this since 2012. One to watch definitely.
  6. It's had some awesome reviews, just bugs letting it down. I'll definitely be getting this but I'll wait until it's patched.
  7. New DLC out for this today, I'm downloading right now. Had a lot of fun with this game. They have also provided an enhanced edition and made it free to everyone who already had the game. https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2016/02/09/dying-light-raises-expansion-and-enhanced-edition/ "Today’s a big day for Dying Light [official site], with three new releases coming to the open-world, zombie-slaying, parkouring FPS. I’ll try to explain this slowly, because it’s all enough that there’s a diagram explaining it all. So! Today brings The Following, the paid expansion which adds a new area and vehicles to Dying Light. Today also brings a free update with many tweaks and improvements to Dying Light. Lastly, today brings Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition, which combines the base game (and that patch, natch) and The Following plus all its other DLC. Get it? Got it? Good. All of those things are now live. Patch 1.10.0 include better AI, new weapons, a new skill tree, a higher difficulty mode, more parkour animations, and plenty of other stuff listed in the patch notes. Or this video looks at its new ‘Legendary’ skill tree, this one goes over ‘bounty’ challenges, and this one is about Nightmare difficulty. Again, that’s free for everyone who has Dying Light. As for The Following, it ventures beyond the city and out into the countryside to investigate a cult. Along with a new story and quests and weapons and things, it adds dirt buggies to zoom around and run over zombies. Adam says he’s playing it and will tell us Wot He Thinks in a day or two."
  8. I'll pop it round round at the weekend if you're about or Monday night for the Utd game if you fancy
  9. Yep, he should start in the northern working mens clubs and progress from there
  10. If it's the PC it means the driver needs to be updated. Happens to me sometimes and the driver has to be found manually too. Has never happened to me with the Xbox itself.
  11. So James, any good? The Euro one was deceptively addictive and very relaxing. Is driving down route 66 a good experience?
  12. As a player I used to dislike Neville but he's grown on me since he stopped playing. What on earth anyone was thinking making him a manager with so little experience is incredible.
  13. Cheers Dave, this was nowhere on my radar
  14. I'm getting a nosebleed, 3rd place and rising. Damn you Spurs, stop toying with me
  15. Poor chap had a melt down, for over 3 hours (I hopped in and out three times to check if he was still going on about it, and he was ) ...and then his stream got hit with a DDoS mid rant. I understood his issue but the petulance (and a little hypocrisy*) wore thin after a while *he used to post on the dayz forum back in 2012
  16. I seriously hope he manages to fuck it up. Unlikely I admit. However. His arrival will mean wholesale changes all over the team. Bye bye to Yaya Toure for a start. He will improve the team but how long that takes him will be important. Either way, unless Arsenal spend big, this looks like their only chance of the PL for a while. Us too (until we get beat tonight by Norwich and I stop pretending we have a chance) .
  17. Working from home yesterday and I was watching a stream by De4d Cert (he has been helping Optix with this mod to raise awareness of its existence). All hell broke loose when he got wind that Frankie on PC and SadaPlays were on the server, asking for free weapons from admin, which they got. De4d Cert was so pissed off he shut down all the Desolation servers as a result. All live on Youtube. Epic hilarity
  18. Last X com was a blast online, even got my little lady to install it on her laptop. But yeah, not likely to have any time to devote to this...
  19. Greetings and felicitations
  20. The PS4 version and the PC version are identical but for some reason I'm not judging the angles or my timing very well on the PS4. In all but one game Rich pretty much destroyed me. I'll be practicing all weekend
  21. Yeah Rich that was a laugh. However, I seriously need to pull my finger out and practice...
  22. Apparently if you download if for free this weekend you get to keep it forever. Don't actually know if it's any good but it's free so maybe worth a look. http://uk.ign.com/articles/2016/01/29/get-fractured-space-moba-free-this-weekend
  23. I applaud that I really do, it's the only sensible approach I think if your team isn't owned by billionaires. Ipswish were a team capable of winning the top division back in the days before football went all showbusiness. The other way is to have your local team and also a team in the Prem. This seems to be a fairly modern phenomenon. Poor chap at work who supports Norwich and Arsenal cracks me up.
  24. Hands off our manager damn you
  25. I finally got around to trying out the Desolation mod last night. Have to say I love how Arma work with modders and the Steam Workshop. It's basically what the standalone should have been 2 years ago. De4dCert plays it a lot on youtube
