  1. CD Keys are selling the PC version for £22, very tempting.
  2. You should see the PC port for PES2016, Frankenstein couldn't have spliced together anything as awful looking.
  3. I think I need a smoke
  4. They're still selling the consoles so have no excuse not to support the games. Except the excuse that everyone always gets away with - unprofitable. Disgraceful when you think about it.
  5. Looks like COD4 level graphics, amazeballs. I see the 360 and PS3 aren't even getting nuketown, very poor, a lot of people still only use those consoles.
  6. ^I'll take that back. Very next game I had parachuted into Pyrgos (playing on the Altis map) and looted up pretty quickly with food and weapons only to have the fastest zombie I have ever seen run to me like T2 and destroy me.
  7. Yeah, it was the DayZ mod for Arma 2 that made me decide to get a decent PC in the first place, up until then I only had Civ 4 on my laptop. So far on Esseker the feeling is very much old school DayZ, the mist makes it really creepy. Yet to encounter a Zed but I'm on servers with 50+ people and KOS is still going strong...
  8. So, the standalone version of DayZ is still treading water, with the progress of an arthritic snail. With armbands. In the meantime I've keep keeping an eye on Arma 3 mods. The A3 DayZ Exile mod has been coming on well recently and I tried out a new map last night, Esseker. If you're interested in trying it out, download the A3 launcher, it helps install all the extra mods needed to play. Give me a shout if you need links.
  9. I'll do that, I did get that one-sided kind of vibe from the wiki page
  10. And wikipedia
  11. So long as it's the 64 bit version I'd say.
  12. The whole thing is pretty toxic from what I understand.
  13. PC all the way, going on the SSD too.
  14. That's true! It was a jungle map on Black Ops 1 that made me realise I have vision difficulties when it comes to abundant greenery
  15. Just had a go on Operation Daybreak, a map designed with input from the community. My first impression is good, played some Conquest and really enjoyed it. I'm not usually a fan of jungle maps but I really enjoyed it. Best game of BF I have personally played since 4 launched.
  16. I'd like to see what Microsoft do with their machine. If they can tweak it and make it smaller I might buy it next year.
  17. I was getting some Flamini jokes prior to the game, so I've been chuckling all day. To be fair the gooners are better off out of the league cup, they spend their load overcoming Spurs, obviously.
  18. New free map and updates came through last night. can't find much online so you'll have to make do with this: http://www.vg247.com/2015/10/28/battlefield-4s-community-operations-patch-is-freaking-enormous/ http://www.vg247.com/2015/10/28/battlefield-4s-community-operations-patch-is-freaking-enormous/
  19. I too enjoyed the beta and I'll be buying this either on PC or PS4, depending on when I get the PS4. I may need some occasional breaks from Fallout.
  20. ^the man is a walking soap opera, that looks like assault and battery* according to Section 42 of the Offences Against Person Act (1861) .
  21. lol yeah, if it means me moving from the comfort of my couch it aint gonna happen
  22. PS4 has now dropped £50 off he asking price in the UK I plan to buy one around mid-November but not sure if I should wait until Black Friday....I want to get the latest model. The hardware was updated and apparently the CUH-1200 edition is at least 12 decibles quieter and uses 30 watts less power. Special thanks to Dave for pointing me to the good deals!!!
  23. I'll check it out, I've seen mention of it on reddit - though I do kind of like Teamspeak, it's so easy to use, and can be free too (though that's a little more fiddly) - can't hurt to have a look at it, so long as it's not a trojan for third parties.
  24. My missus loves the gothic quarter too, it was one of the first places in Barna (local name for Barcelona) she ever took me to see. Getting off the beaten track is a great move, you can get a decent three course lunch/dinner for a lot cheaper if you follow the locals. Marina is in the city right now for her parent's 50th wedding anniversary, so if you bump into a loud angry woman then...oh I forgot for a moment where you are
