  1. Played the actual Esseker map a bit more now, really really like it, gives me the old school dayz feeling back, especially when it gets foggy. However, it's true to say that it's pretty much more PVP that ever, and high powered weapons spawn everywhere
  2. I've really only played the campaign so far, which I'm enjoying. It' s a ritual of mine to complete it before jumping fully into MP. Four hours in, so I've not plated a massive amount yet but really enjoyed it.
  3. Should have seen Son, soooo rusty it was hilarious. Derail finished[emoji6] Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  4. Had a quick go last night after getting back from Spurs v Anderlecht. I like it. Kuda all the way for me so far
  5. My Cd key came through today, this next week will be awesome with Blops 3 and Fallout 4..... ....and accidentally on purpose I'm off work all next week
  6. Great track, Orbital persuaded me back in the 90s that not all electronic music is to be avoided
  7. I was going to disagree with you but opted for a smoke instead, sometimes I communicate poorly online
  8. I pretty much liked them all up until the last attempt with Scott Bakula. That was really poor. Really wanted to like it but the plot seemed kund of influenced by the events of Sept 11. Scott was great in Quantam Leap though. The original 60s series with Shatner and Nimoy etc is still the best for me. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  9. CD Keys are selling the PC version for £22, very tempting.
  10. You should see the PC port for PES2016, Frankenstein couldn't have spliced together anything as awful looking.
  11. I think I need a smoke
  12. They're still selling the consoles so have no excuse not to support the games. Except the excuse that everyone always gets away with - unprofitable. Disgraceful when you think about it.
  13. Looks like COD4 level graphics, amazeballs. I see the 360 and PS3 aren't even getting nuketown, very poor, a lot of people still only use those consoles.
  14. ^I'll take that back. Very next game I had parachuted into Pyrgos (playing on the Altis map) and looted up pretty quickly with food and weapons only to have the fastest zombie I have ever seen run to me like T2 and destroy me.
  15. Yeah, it was the DayZ mod for Arma 2 that made me decide to get a decent PC in the first place, up until then I only had Civ 4 on my laptop. So far on Esseker the feeling is very much old school DayZ, the mist makes it really creepy. Yet to encounter a Zed but I'm on servers with 50+ people and KOS is still going strong...
  16. So, the standalone version of DayZ is still treading water, with the progress of an arthritic snail. With armbands. In the meantime I've keep keeping an eye on Arma 3 mods. The A3 DayZ Exile mod has been coming on well recently and I tried out a new map last night, Esseker. If you're interested in trying it out, download the A3 launcher, it helps install all the extra mods needed to play. Give me a shout if you need links.
  17. I'll do that, I did get that one-sided kind of vibe from the wiki page
  18. And wikipedia
  19. So long as it's the 64 bit version I'd say.
  20. The whole thing is pretty toxic from what I understand.
  21. PC all the way, going on the SSD too.
  22. That's true! It was a jungle map on Black Ops 1 that made me realise I have vision difficulties when it comes to abundant greenery
  23. Just had a go on Operation Daybreak, a map designed with input from the community. My first impression is good, played some Conquest and really enjoyed it. I'm not usually a fan of jungle maps but I really enjoyed it. Best game of BF I have personally played since 4 launched.
  24. I'd like to see what Microsoft do with their machine. If they can tweak it and make it smaller I might buy it next year.
