Rumours are that Bethesda are about to shadow drop this remaster. Could be any day in the next couple of weeks. I love the original, I'll wait until I see something of the remaster before thinking of getting it.

Unfortunately, I just don't see it now from any Championship club. Ideally you want some of the teams to come up to stay up so they can achieve more, get more competitive and make the game more healthy - but the last 2 seasons we've seen a sharp decline in promoted teams as well as the gap from existing Prem teams getting larger. Forest, for me clearly bought 25 players with some experience so unless any team is willing to do that, I see all 3 going back down. Btw, its not a Burnley/Leeds thing this. Even Blackburn wouldn't be anywhere near the standard. I watched Burnley vs Sheff Utd and whilst they looked robust, you could see none of their players have Premiership quality. It just feels like you have to get promoted with one team, sack them, and then bring in some elite experienced players that have Prem experience. You could argue rather than have a Super League, insert a League 1.5 between Prem and Championship and we'd see better football throughout as thats whats happened now.

And it's released 🙂 50 quid on Steam but I've got the PC GamePass so it's installing already. I'll probably buy it on Steam if i like it...

I don't think it's expensive really, I think if you compare this to the Steam deck which is a great machine you are getting something rather comparable for the price. The power under the hood is similar and I think the 256gb variant is similar in price to this device albeit you are paying more but getting the dock included. They appear to have taken on board the issues with the first console and improved them. My wife was really interested in this straight off the bat because of the Mario Kart game which my kids are at the age to start appreciating, I do not think this will do as well as the original Switch, it does not feel like it brings much new to the table other than a more refined device. It feel's just like an upgrade rather than a new machine. The game share I liked, it means I could play Mario Kart on the Switch 2 and my daughter join us on the OLED swith 1 which could be good. The camera and the screen sharing looked really bad. The power isn't there to stream 4 other players devices while you are gaming and you could clearly see them lagging. Apparently in the interviews after they acknowledged this and have just accepted it which to me is poor. If it does not work just don't do it at all and they showed off some great 3rd party games that would never have been possible on the current switch with cyberpunk, Hitman, new 007 game and the bloodborne esque game they showed off at the end of the trailer. I do have issues though - I think the first game / app they showed off sums up Nintendo at the moment though and it is why I have fallen out of love with the company as such in recent years. A game / app that showcases how to use the device but you have to pay for it? I mean what??!! Wheras playstation release a little Astro bot game free of charge. Then there are all these Switch 2 variants of games that you have to pay extra for, I think it was the Zelda game where you are paying extra to have the maps on your phone? Also game chat, welcome to what 2006? I will pick one up but it will likely be a Christmas purchase for the household after we have moved and that is in part because my wife is offering to buy it as a joint household gift! 🙂

Back full force with running not going into detail why I gave it up bur sure does feel good to be back out there. Prep fo4 the conditions as today I didn't and almost took a nap on the pavement. Over 100km ran this month. It's gotten to the point I'm collecting digital trophies on strava so it's.just not ps trophies.

I've got about 40+ hours on this so far. I'm digging it. Love the Japan setting. I still feel Ghost of Tsushima is better, but this is fun.

I'm very happy with it so far, and I'm getting 80 fps on medium settings at 1440p. I aside from a couple of niggles I think they have exceeded my expectations. I'm playing this on gamepass right now but as soon as I see it for 40 quid or less I'm picking up the Steam version.

Agree. The gulf is absolutely insane now. Burnley have the best defence in EFL history yet they will likely ship a load next season and look very ordinary. The rest of the team will be fairly unknown but I just can't see them competing like they did for several years. Leeds have had a great campaign particularly at home but they will need to replace both their keepers along with Bamford and Piroe and the likes of Bogle already have 50 PL appearances with 36 of them being defeats whilst shipping 3 goals a game. Rodon does not have enough experience and I can't see Joseph, Ampadu or Firpo performing consistently at that level. Solomon is a great signing and was a great replacement for Summerville but if you want to kick on in the Prem, you certainly have to make some sweeping changes as players some that are too good for the EFL are nowhere near PL standard. Summerville himself was outstanding for Leeds last season but has been utter dogshit for West Ham. Daniel Farke is also expected to be sacked which kinda outlines the ruthless approach needed to remain in the Prem. He could win the title and be gone the next day it is that crazy. In terms of the playoff contending teams, they are miles off even Leeds and Burnley. Sunderland are big but they just don't have the finances to build a sustainable team capable of maintaining a place in the Prem. Some exciting players in Bellingham, Rigg and Mayenda but the rest are rooted in ELF standard forever. Roberts, O'Nien and Mepham are prime examples and even Isidor has struggled immensely for months now. We all know what Sheff Utd are like up there, plus Coventry and Bristol City may provide a refreshing change, it may be short lived once the glitz and glamour is over like Ipswich discovered.

Good afternoon you beautiful people, I don't know when but at some point recently addons (or mods basically) were added to the store so they can be added to realms. There's whole modpacks on there but to start with, Matt and I decided on a few choice vanilla+ mods. The mods included are - Tinkers Construct (a mod that adds many different materials for tools, upgrades and modifiers to tools) - Storage drawers (these are errr drawers the store stuff - some alternate storage, each draw stores one item but shows the item and single drawers can store a LOT - storage can be increased too) - Botany pots (pots to grow stuff in, simplifies crop growing and with hopper pots, they will auto-harvest crops too) - A structure addon that adds buildings to explore out in the world - A creature addon that adds some new creatures (and variants) to find in different parts of the world. This should work seamlessly for anyone that can connect from whatever device. For me, the realm showed up automatically for me as I've connected before to the old one. So hopefully people can get on but any problems and we can sort out an invite link.

A pretty comprehensive review

It looks like only Matty can do it as the Realm owner so dropped him a message to post a join link. Never! It’s nice to be able to crossplay with some mods but Bedrock has a looooong way to go to be on the level of java. Also you have to buy the addons for Bedrock (the server host does, not all of us) rather just download them. Plus Bedrock is annoying in some respects though I accept this might just be because I’m so used to Java.

Gutted! What an actor he was. Couldn't agree more! Insanely good and made that film one of the best modern westerns we've ever had. Rewatching Top Gun and Top Gun Maverick. Easily can see why this time round had to wipe a tear from the eyes when Tom Cruise is thanking him for everything. ❤️ P.S. I'm really excited for it - mainly for way more durability in the controls and for a new Mario Kart game coming out, that has up to 24 racers at once. Price wise, its probably more of an issue across general society as games prices haven't gone way overboard like many other things in life have. I'm thankful for it, because I've been able to own more games, but at the same time if they go £10-15 per game, I can understand why to a degree. Nintendo's capacity to keep their own games exclusive has really made sure they can control this market still as there is still a lotta love for these unique games. Steamdecks and RoGs are a nice alternative but its all about how these games feel way more unique to the user than anything else. Perfect for a family really. I'd love to hook up two decks when they're out and getting them on the TVs in my outbuilding.

New game from FromSoftware and somewhat a spiritual successor to Bloodborne. For some reason it is a Switch 2 exclusive which is utterly insane seeing that virtually all their money is made from other consoles and PC including the massive success of Elden Ring.

The developers are literally based down the road from where I live but I'm just not a fan of their games. It's great to see them try something new outside of their safe Sniper Elite series but they just can't seem to shake off their reputation for making games that are just somewhat decent but nothing overly special or original. I don't have Game Pass so I wont try it and I wouldn't want to pay anything more than £13 for something like this. May have a look in the future but it seems to be just another ok game from them.

Console only crossplay is coming with Season 3. That's a great move IMO.

I'm currently playing through this and I'm enjoying it. If you like AC games then you'll like this one. It's absolutely beautiful as well.

Oh my. I think we got old. Fast. 🤣 Tom @LordBaguette, Froggie @datfroggieguy and myself jumped in OG warzone for a few fun runs - and got absolutely annihilated time after time. It was quite funny tbh. I still enjoy goign after all the mission requests which lead you to better guns on the fly rather than saving money for a loadout drop. It definitely has something about it...we must have had 5-6 runs of getting smashed and then all of a sudden we went on a rampage. Around 10-12 kills as a team and we kept pushing through, with constant redeploys and managed to get a top 10. That game felt like the whole was night was worth playing, just for that moment. Probably worth a few more game nights with some FGers. Even if its crossplay, doesn't bother me.

Another crazy day in the Championship- Oxford survive beating Sunderland 2-0 so I am delighted! Insane that Hull are now in the drop zone and Preston have been dragged into the mix after Luton, Plymouth and Derby all won. Playoffs have take another huge turn with Blackburn and Millwall back in it after Coventry blow it and Bristol City playing Leeds Monday. Cov v Middlesbrough last game too!

I've been playing this quite a lot recently and quite enjoying it. I still think some of the maps are utter shit. I've changed my mind on Subsonic as I now don't mind it. I will always back out of a game if Nuketown, Payback or Derailed are chosen. Dealership has become a favourite map of mine.

Well, to be fair, Real are probably the biggest cunts in football 😂 I honestly did think Ange would get Spurs back into the fight for top 4 this season after how he did in his first, I know injuries have screwed you guys massively but holy fuck. It just seems like you can’t get any goals and then completely implode and lose over and over. Dunno if it’s a tactical issue, a player issue or if it’s all down to Ange but something does have to change. Just please don’t bring Mourinho back…

Leeds and Burnley both have a chance of staying up, just look at Forest. But I'd say whatever team wins the playoffs and joins you will be a relegation candidate from day one...

I feel like I've completely outgrown Nintendo and they seem to be blurring into the likes of Sony and Microsoft with scummy tactics. Indie and AA titles are very expensive on their machine and with physical copies soon to house only partial install data, you have to wonder why they even bother. Soon to be paying £70 for a game that's useless without an online connection and 30gb download. Their exclusive range also does nothing for me now - I can see why Nintendo-only gamers may be wowed at some titles but even BOTW just felt like a bloated open world game with some infuriating mechanics and limited gameplay. I did enjoy some of it especially at the start but having played a zillion of these titles, it wasn't anything new or unique. Even for younger gamers, the amount of BS and the price here is just exhausting and they could easily broaden their horizons by a monumental margin with things like the Steam Deck. Switch 2 will basically have all the modern nonsense that plagues gaming but with a heavily restricted and overly-expensive catalogue.

Giving this thread a nudge as it is going to be release in May. I have looked at some of the recent footage and though it looks a bit janky it is looking like it could be great fun. There are 3 zones, 1 which is kind of starter friendly, 1 which is then PvE and bigger in scope and then an end game one which then include's the PvP element. The discussion around the PvP area is that because it is a whole bunch of servers all meshed together you could potentially have up to 900 players in this larger end game area at any one time and it appears to take some influence from Battlefield and Planetside games. Definately one I will be giving a try I think.

I've been loving it. I'm also nearly at the end of the game now (on Stalker difficulty) and once done I'm going back and doing the whole game again on Veteran. The story, if you know the lore, is bang on imo, so far at least. I just had an emotional conversation with Strider, which was excellent 😥 I lied to him.
