All ARs are Gilded, with I think at least 2 out of 6 Forged. Saving a few so I can go back to using them after doing other guns. Swarm SMG Gilded, Striker is nearly there (kills under your tactical impact are a killer though!). Battle Rifles all Gilded. Sidewinder and MCZ are Forged so just BAS-B to do so they are all pretty much done! Gonna look at LMGs I reckon, although I need to check if there is any secondary knife ones to do at all because clearly a few maps are hilarious to use the knife (aren't they Matt @Luseth *cough cough* 🤣). Really enjoying doing these camp challenges whilst trying to play the objective and get the win for FG. I don't mind that its a slower progress for me, although its far quicker than MW2 challenges thats for sure!

Beat Lies of P last night, the first souls like I have ever beaten! I’ve tried Bloodborne, Sekiro, Demon Souls and Mortal Shell in the past but gave up with all of them pretty early on! I persevered with this game as I loved the setting and the idea for the story, and I’m glad I did as I ended up loving it! I thought the combat was fantastic and particularly liked the mechanic where successfully parrying could break the enemy weapon! However, I found the Legion arm to be mostly useless, and felt like using any larger weapons put you at a massive disadvantage which meant I didn’t experiment with weapons as much as I would have liked! The visuals and audio design were great though and the story was interesting and more “in your face” than the other souls games, but I would still have liked the story to take more of a central part of the game. Overall, really enjoyed the game and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys souls games. I gave it a score of 8.4 on my instagram where I usually post my reviews! I enjoyed it so much that I’m actually considering going back and trying Bloodborne or Demon Souls again?! Anyone else beaten this that thinks I’m crazy or think it deserves more than 8.4?

Yes a decent month to start 2024! I loved A Plague Tale Réquiem! Nobody saves the world was decent but have never tried Evil West! Hopefully the rest of 2024 will have lineups like this … 🤣

This project is going from strength to strength. All community made and free, which is pretty incredible these days. I totally support what they're doing here, what a great example of what ppl can do together.

I havent completed it yet, will go back at one point. You should really give Bloodborne another go! Demon Souls was not my cup pf tea. So you havent played Elden Ring or Dark Souls? Dark Souls 3 that is. The others are too old and slow. Bloodborne was the first I beat. Wo Long is pretty good too!

Ok month for January. Evil West was crap IMO, but the other games are decent.

Hopefully this Saturday I can delete the ps4 version. Have to say the campaign is dog shit worst one in recent years but on the flip side veteran difficulty is pretty hard actually found it challenging. Still haven't a clue why the ps4 version is a stand alone and the ps5 is more like a DLC.

So a new patch with lots of updates dropped yesterday. There's a new map intended to be for new players which i jumped on for a bit last night. It's excellent. There's a sale on right now too.

GTA Definitive Edition has arrived on mobile and it's actually better than the current gen versions. Dare I say it actually looks good with far better colours and lighting and much more in-line with the originals

I didn't mind the film. It followed the source material pretty closely with a few changes here and there. I personally prefer the graphic novel, as there's a lot in there that immerses you into the world, like reading the comic within the comic, or excerpts from the original Night Owls biography. Just little things like that. Alan Moore is just nuts with the details.

I need to get a better gaming PC so I can rock this with some FGers. I hope there's a console release coming at some point.

Yeah I totally agree, I liked the ghost of the last few years. It was balanced and rewarded fast gunplay. Also meant you couldn't play like an absolute rat. I see it as the vest will be the old ghost OG MW2-BO2 (the golden era). There was nothing wrong with those games. However with the current average cod player yer skill + Sbmm etc. It will be punishing. For some folk, playing like a goblin is the only way they can get kills. It panders to that player retention that Activision strives for. If people can't win gunfights they will quit, Daddy Activision can't have people quitting the game incase they might buy a store bundle. Funny thing is Sbmm is actually having the reverse effect, it's stopping people from playing and/or buying the game. Also think I saw a Sam Turret once so far. Nobody uses it in my lobbies.

Just because there have been versions etc is irrelevant the new ghost also just needs a tweek, this new vest is in simply to slow down the game and aid people of no real skill get easy kills, imo it was fixed years ago and should never have been reinstated. The choice then is wether to move or hope you don't get pinged by the uav that are constantly being taken down by all the turrets.

The Bas-B has to be the best gun in the game. It absolutely melts!

There was monetization with the DMZ "pay to win" skins. It's too because I really liked the mode. What they did with it is they turned it into Zombies which I play as well and it is enjoyable. Main difference is that there is no PvP but you can squad up in order to get a 6 man team going. Will see how that goes for battlepass progression. T

It's still in early access and is online co-op which is the only reason I've held off. Looks great though.

Yah, I was working for ATI at the time and playing games on the Graphic cards that I designed was part of the job description. I remember us doing all sorts of stuff to get it to work on the MACH32 That really makes me feel old

Unreal Tournament on a mate's PC but yeah probably Goldeney on N64 was just before that. First game I would describe as a modern type FPS for me though is Black, on PS2.

I started playing the 4th game in the series last night, only played for an hour or so but really enjoying it so far. I haven’t played an Uncharted game before yesterday but heard that I could jump into this one without any issue. I’m really enjoying the climbing and jumping mechanics, it feels really smooth but occasionally I did get a bit lost as to which way to go and did fall to my death once thinking I had to jump down. I haven’t go much into the story yet as I haven’t got far but excited to see where it goes. Some of the cutscenes do feel insanely long though which I don’t mind but only if the story grips me.
