    Dead Island 2

So Dead Island 2 launches in 2 days, here's the trailer So its clear its not the absolute graphical game that some peop[le may want, but Ithink Skill Up has a good review from a positive angle below. Tldr, it doesn't have to be deep, high graphics, and complex in game mechanics. The game just seems pure simplistic fun with and crazy ways to kills zombies. I think the key here will be how much is it worth to buy the game. It opens on Amazon at £50 for the Day One edition. Thats 20 less than usual AAA games on launch. I suspect it will drop in a few months but i'd be keen for a co-op play, similar to Dying Light. It can handle 3 player co-op so if a few like the idea of it i'll keep it on my 'likely' list and see who else could dip for this.

  4. Not many fans like them tbh, it didn't help when they had Nathan Jones as their manager not long ago too, felt like they were giving everyone the biggun'. I bloody hope they don't go up either @phil bottle 😁 but tbh, we have more chance of stopping Millwall rather than Luton given they are already pretty much in the playoffs with their points total. Wash your mouth out with soap as soon as you can, Kenny. Thats nearly a bannable post here.

  5. I just randomly came across a YouTube video of Burnley fans chanting. I would post, but it would make Lee physically sick and disgusted. 🤢

  6. Please, for the love of all that is sacred, do not let Luton fucking Town into the Premiership. You have one task, make it so 🙈🤗

  7. Putting this one here as though the Switch is handheld and we now have the Steamdeck the majority of handhelds are getting on a bit now. In fact it seems like there is not much of a future for them considering the power we have in our tablets and mobile phones these days. That said I have quite a growing handheld collection with a nice white psp being added to the collection the past week and it got me thinking about which one's are my favourite. We have the DS / 3DS consoles where there was an abundance of games and it was incredibly accessible for people, the PSP being Sony's first forray into handheld consoles and it being fairly successful to it's PS Vita offering which I think was maybe the best console but let down by Sony. So do you have a favourite, do any of them still get a look in with modern consoles, steam decks, nintendo switches being available? Are there any games that bring back fond memories? For me it is the PSP, partly because I had a PSP Go back when I used to work away and it was incredibly versatile, had an abundance of jrpg's that I loved (Jeanne D'Arc was brilliant as a tactics type game) and I used to sit at the top of 30m stacks just gaming and every now and again taking a reading. It was pretty great.

  10. Hated the GameBoy by the way. Could never understand why people raved about it.

  11. We should try and sort a night out, more than a few of us own the game. But I wouldn't hold my breath 😅

  12. I never really owned handheld consoles or that. Did know someone with a game gear. That's a blast from the past. Wasn't there a Sega Genesis Nomad or something as well? Of topic now, but Sega tried too much from the early to mid 90's. The Sega Saturn wasn't very successful. And the terrible flop that was the 32x.

  13. I had a Donkey Kong game&watch handheld when I was 11. Classic. But yeah, while the Switch is very decent, I love my SteamDeck.

  16. To be fair to Luton, they beat the wandering south londoners in the 1988 League Cup final when I was a youngster, so if that kind of thing comes along again I won't complain 😅

  18. The Stalker and DayZ modding communities are part of what made me fall in love with PC gaming. In a world where everything is commodified and money dictates, its good for the soul to see people can still do things for the love of it, and share with the community.
