  1. As a teenage environmental protestor in the 90s it was clear to me that the majority of people are too caught up in their own petty bullshit to do anything about the environment, or anything else for that matter. I'm just glad I'll likely miss all the really horrific stuff coming our way in a couple of decades. How we organise ourselves as a species has done us in. Capitalism has ruined us. I remember as a kid when they finally banned CFCs. The corporations had been denying any issues for decades, saying it was a Marxist plot, but they couldn't really hide the big fuck off hole in the ozone layer which just got bigger and bigger. We were are now, it's too late to fix anything as far as I can see. Just look at the world, people arguing over bullshit, inventing ridiculous conspiracy theories, too scared too look at the real cause of our ills, like Nero fiddling while Rome burned. I'll stick to my bicycle 🙈😅

  2. Out later this year and there is currently a very long demo available on Steam. This looks astonishingly close to the original Resident Evil titles

I've added patch notes to your OP @phil bottle. Happy for the free cars and track. That Porsche looks and sounds great. The smaller track I think could be one we give a go with Gr4 cars next time we're on to see how it feels racing wise. That AI is interesting, not much other thoughts on it though just yet!

Just going through more modern games in the backlog to name a few - Dying Light 2 Rage 2 Scarlet Nexus Kingdom hearts 3 Devil May Cry 5 Diablo 2 (remaster) & 3 Triangle Strategy Harvestella But yeah there are quite a few more, I found an app yesterday that will allow me to keep track of them easier and log when they are done called gametrack (iphone)

A really cool metroidvania action/adventure that dropped on the Switch last week, and eventually coming to other consoles at a point yet to be announced. I've been enjoying it so far. Controls are tight and it's got some gore to it.

The PSVR does look good and I'm so tempted by it but it's so much money just for GT7. I didn't realise they were adding Sophy though, that's potentially great news and hopefully the AI won't be so useless now.

  14. I'd like to see some consistency but we seem very Jekyll and Hyde right now. I was very pleased for Emerson Royal, he gets a lot of stick but he's a trier and I love that about him.

Reviews are coming in, and a fairy mixed response to it. I will try it out on Gamepass, possibly on Xbox but most likely on PC.

Any weapon. could be ones you deployed with, ones you looted, ones from AI, ones from players, etc If there are AI around the dead drop that could be perfect

Does it have to be a custom weapon or the contraband ones are ok too?

  22. The G7 don't give a toss especially if its an expensive change in infrastructure which could savage the economy in its implementation and the impact it has in the changeover to established domains. Any agreements that these global governments make are merely to satisfy each other and to meet the bare minimums without receiving financial and investment penalties from the likes of the EU. These knee-jerk 11th hour mandates are drawn up of desperation because we're at a stage now where there's no easy way to implement and reward green innovations and users. If you promised to drive an electric car for the rest of eternity, it would probably cost you 70% of your income just to purchase and maintain. People just can't win and if the governments can't be arsed then people will carry on as normal. Some of the green ideas floated and implemented around the likes of London and Liberal-ran cities are so horrendously bad, people would rather harm the environment rather than destroy their income and sanity in endorsing these desperate methods.

  23. It fits in around 4 years after the events of MGS4 but it's not narrative-driven like your typical Metal Gear title - more of a focus on combat and mechanics and the story takes somewhat of a backseat which is a nice change of pace. I think the best we're gonna get with Raiden's backstory is what we got in MGS2 sadly.
