  2. Switch version seems worse than the Xbox one - doesn't appear they even updated the UI or anything in that whereas the Xbox has some refinements in that area Xbox has the controller on the interface screen Switch however still shows the N64 pad and offers no customisation.

  4. My list - Bring in a sniper riffle with thermal and silencer when ever you can. You will be able to see the enemy from far away and mark them for you and team. The can also spot enemy operators easily. The back pack is very noticable. You can count on picking up the RPK quickly or shotguns. - Look at your team mates challenges. I often see they have the same as me, so then say hey guys we all need to air strike 10 guys. If they don't say great idea you know you are in for a shit match and likely to all die because you are stuck with dumb people. Just saying - Get an easy contract immediately (radio actives are the best). Then think of you extraction strategy. You get extraction streaks in this game and if you build up 5 or more you can become pretty godly. Play the long game - When using a vehicle to go extract. Have someone leave early at the other side of the extraction point you will use. Use your thermal or spoting scope to look for exfil campers. Having a UAV or recon drone is also helpful. If they are there, they probably do not have your best interest in mind and decide what you want to do - If another team is extracting, friend them without saying anything. If they refuse just let them extract and get the next one only you are prepared to lose than fight, might win but you might lose. I tend to not be a dick because some kids new to the game might just be trying to get their 2 plate vest or extract with their stims - Assume that the AIs are PC players with wall hacks and aimbots. Because that pretty much how effective they are right now. The can see you while inside a building a throw a grenade through the window at you. - Go to gas stations to fuel and fix you vehicles. Be prepared for the 6-8 AIs however that patrol the station - use the radio towers and building to parachute around to "fast travel". Be prepared for operators camping the climb however. Don't all go up at the same time. See if you get shot at - If your team mates fail to revive you don't leave. They can still revive you as long as your dog tag is still there. It just takes longer - Be prepared for operator dog fights at Quarry, havid port, mall, airport. There are a number of missions that you have to do there. So there is a good likelyhood that other operators are trying to do them too. Try to friend them, if they don' respond immediately assume they are hostile - Roll as a 6 operator team when ever you can. If you can find people who co-operate friend them in game and for future games. - I would get an an AR over a LMG when I can. You want to be able to reload quickly. As I said the other gun should be a sniper - Remember there is another slot in the medium/large backpack to carry a 3rd weapon. Don't drop something good if you haven't used the slot - Put some proximity mines in your vehicles if you can. If another team tries to steal them while you are doing something. Kaboom 🙂 if you drive around and into their vehicle Kaboom. Miraculously you will survive the kaboom and get a lot a kind comments and complements on your strategy 😉 - After I die I think to spend the next mission looking for better backpack and plate vests and self revives. If I get them I extract to get ready for real missions - keep an eye on the timer. Once the gas starts you want to have your extraction strategy and be close to an extraction point. Don't mill around the gas because it will overcome you quickly and the chopper ain't coming for you - you can rescue the hostage to extract. A chopper will come for you and its not an extraction point on the map. However the mission is not a gimmie and some of the rescues can be pretty hard. Shoot the guards through the windows before you breach the door if you can. Minimize the number of guards before entering. Find the hostage quickly before the explosive vest blows - People will try to kill you at final extraction, kill them first - If your team mates go into a restricted area with a single plate vest and not guns, go in a different direction. They are idiots and will get you killed. Unless you got nothing too and just want to go in for the ride - If you got nothing and go in without a weapon. Best strategy is dead silence and throwing knife. Its a one it silent kill on the AI. Then pickup a gun and the other shit you are going to need - If you get a chance, jump onto the train early. Lots of low risk great loot there. However it drives into dangerous AI areas so don't stay there too long - Learn the extraction points you should avoid. The caves and observatory for example. Just too many armoured AI there. the likelyhood of getting out is low. Get a vehicle and drive to a safer spot instead

  5. Yeah I had a quick go on it, it's a pretty decent experience on the Xbox, aim assist is op but runs smoothly and doesn't leave a sour taste. Doubtful I'll get around to playing it again though.

Stop twisting my words and making up bullshit scenarios to suit your ignorant and nonsensical argument. There is no contradiction - I am wanting new and original content to compliment the existing content - not the removal of staple content to be replaced by a very poorly thought-out mode. Comparing maps and modes is literally the stupidest thing I have ever heard. There is nothing wrong with new content including modes as long as its actually new and innovative plus it doesn't replace existing core modes. Kill Confirmed was a prime example of this and it's been in every COD game since. This is the standard and innovative design we'd expect - not some shitty variant that probably attracts a minimal amount of players. Tier1 is inferior in every way and replaced a very successful and proven concept which is why people were very disappointed with it and why IW did a rare u-turn. Last time they did this was when they removed Search and Destroy (LMAO) from Ghosts and replaced it with Search and Rescue. That did not go down well either. You're basically saying just because I want new map content, I have to then accept and endorse every new mode even if it comes at the expense of staple material and cannot criticse despite the overwhelming majority of the community sharing exactly the same feelings. So if they suddenly replace TDM with some variant that 99.9% of other people didn't like, I am then not able to vent my opinion because I have automatically signed up to your strict ethics that I must embrace all new content or none at all? Even the most hardened Activision-pampered COD cocksuckers are allowed to share such opinions

  11. Control 007 Agent - Fuck that! Jungle wasn't easy either. When I played the leaked unreleased XBLA build with an Xbox controller, it felt good and authentic to what it was like with a 64 pad back in the day. I've played Perfect Dark with a mouse and keyboard and it just makes things a bit too easy so I'd definitely retain playing Goldeneye with a pad.

Only if you was running your insured weapon at the time, so maybe it’s your first game of the day, when I get wiped I always take in no weapons and run straight for the high risk high rewards areas such as the train, you can often get a 3/3 vest/backpack, then I’ll go for a gas mask and self revive, then go for the early extract to get my insured gun, or if my insured is on cool-down I’ll go do some basic missions, and dead drop some cash. 50k is around 1:40 so add in your game time and you are good to go next round. That’s my exact point! Yup my focus for the next couple of weeks is Black Mous tier 4 I want the relentless skin for Roze some fantastic tips @cyberninja2601

It depends what your prior target objective is going in and how many runs you want to take in that session IMO. If I'm just experimenting or playing risky, I'll just go in with junk or even barebones especially if I intend to have another couple of cracks. That way you don't lose your weapon out of the gate and are then feeding on scraps for more major runs after or having to do dud runs just to accumulate gear. My tip is don't bother grinding too much close-season because it seems like they are doing the seasonal wipe format. CoD: Warzone 2 Will Wipe DMZ In Season 2, And Some Players Aren't Excited - GameSpot WWW.GAMESPOT.COM A seasonal wipe is coming to DMZ mode, and not everyone is happy about it. Just grab persistent gear you can use elsewhere and then don't worry too much about grinding out everything else because it wont matter.

  20. Really not sure why they didn't replicate MW2019's which provides exactly the same information, just in a more user friendly and logical way. It's nothing special but navigating is fluid and everything is easily accessible. Could've easily done this in-house rather than trying to drum up marketing by hiring streaming service designers. Without examples, it's really impossible to say whether it will be an improvement but it surely can't get much worse!

If you died, haven't you lost your insured weapon for 2 hours? I always bring in the insured if I have it. Usually a sniper riffle as those are rare pick up items. I leave the other slots open.

Game modes are nothing like maps and bare no resemblance in terms of content. People don't really wish for new modes - the are largely happy with the core playlists provided and any EXTRA modes that may come along as a bonus. The core playlist alone probably houses over 90% of players and about 80% of those just play TDM. Maps are the key to sustainability and retention - something COD MP has struggled with since 2013. Maps also don't have to be cut - playlists however are always shrunk especially on non-core playlists because they are not viable when they have less than X amount of players. Kill confirmed was also introduced as an extra mode - it DID NOT replace any existing core modes and that is something you cannot understand - the main gripe with Tier1 is that it REPLACED a flawless and staple mode rather than sat aside it. Had it done that, people would've ignored it and like all the other removed modes, it would've been taken out the game come January. There is a huge difference between adding new content and replacing existing ones and that you still can't seem to fathom that has being the main complaint. The uproar when they removed SnD in 2013 - a mode which 35% of players regularly participated in was a shocking decision and Tier1 is a comparable error of judgement with an even lazier and unjustifiable change in framework. I can also freely criticise a new mode especially if it replaces an existing one particularity if it fails to innovate and is objectively worse than its predecessor. If they want to bring in new modes then fair play - just don't remove proven concepts and do something that actually has credibility rather than change something for the sake of it without being able to provide one counterpoint as to why you've made this radical overhaul. There are content creators on Activision's payroll who have absolutely lambasted this on Twitter along with slating both IW and Acitivision for the lack of map content and a forwarding strategy. It's a pretty standard complain for a game teetering on life support already with over 2 years to run.

That is literally my argument, game modes are, like maps, content and so new game modes is new content. Also like maps, until they're released to the wider community it's impossible to know for certain how well, or badly, they will be received. I'm glad it seems we agree on the first part but who decides if it's "actually new and innovative"? oh right, yeah, that would be the community which the community can't have an opinion on unless, and until, Tier1 got launched. The only difference between Kill confirmed being a shitty variant of TDM that attracts minimal amount of players is it turned out that the community liked KC. Had the community taken to Tier 1 like they did to KC, we would be praising the change but again they, and we, couldn't know if Tier1 was better or worse without actually trying it. What I load of bollocks, I've never said you can't criticise Tier1 or any other part of the game. The part I took umbrage at was you crying out they need to add new content (which, again, I agree with) but then moaning that Tier1 is shit and they shouldn't have even added it to the game. And before you say I'm twisting your words again; What I'm saying is you CAN criticise the game, you CAN criticise any of the content (maps, weapons, UI and even game modes), you CAN even criticise the lack of content in the game. But you CAN'T also then lambast them for trying to add something to the game simply because it turns out after playing it the community doesn't like it. Hindsight is a wonderful thing and we can say, now having played it, that Tier1 doesn't work but we didn't know that, and we couldn't know that, before actually playing Tier1. Back in the days of DLC map packs we got what we got and if there was a shitty map in the mix then oh well. But we live in the age of patches and downloads that mean they can add, remove or fundamentally change the game over time and I don't know, maybe it's just me but I'd quite happily play a bad game mode, or even 10, as long as they keep trying instead of only re-hashing the same 10* game modes from the last 15 years. *CBA to count the actual number.

In terms of new content as far as maps go there has been nothing so far in addition since launch. The game has been out for like 2 and a half months. Just because the game is a 2 year cycle, doesn't mean they have to drip feed the content even more sparsely. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy most of what the game has to offer. Saying that I only play MP, the resources are all getting used up on other side modes or ideas. I don't have to play them which is fine, but I feel the MP content is lacking atm. Just a few more maps would be nice. Game modes are sometimes worth experimenting with sure. It's nice to attempt something different I guess. However Tier 1 was a butchering of the highest order. I'm glad they are going to bring back the original Hardcore. At least they have realised how well Tier 1 didn't do and are rectifying the problem. That I can commend them on, actually listening to the community and taking things on board and using the information proactively. I feel they gave themselves more work by changing or doing certain things that enraged the fan base. E.g the Tier 1 version of HC, a terrible UI and of course an underwhelming and utterly shite perk system. Nobody asked for those 3 shockers, but they gave them anyway and now have to invest time fixing them. People do however ask for new maps all the time, did we get any? So when Season 2 drops we will be treated to at least A new map I presume? 3 months deep to get a new map. 3 months to give us normal Hardcore, a decent UI and maybe a rework of the perks? Shame on you Activision........ BTW my post isn't aimed at anyone or anything in particular. Just sharing my thoughts and ramblings on our current Cod.

  27. Some very strong reviews going up which is great news! Currently 89% on Meta and still many to go. Probably won’t get it at full price but certainly down the line. Looks like they did a very good job on this almost to the standard of how Capcom have rebooted the classic RE titles.

  28. Yeah, the more I think about it, the less I want to to play this on a new console. But if its on Gamepass I probably won't resist. Particularly if there's a keyboard and mouse option. I don't know if people actually know (or remember) how hard this game actually was in certain parts so I'll be interested to see how it plays on an Xbox controller.

  31. Seems to be a very convoluted situation The GoldenEye Re-Releases are a Weirdly Convoluted Situation - IGN WWW.IGN.COM Two different versions of GoldenEye are being released on two different consoles, but neither are the recently leaked remaster. It’s a weirdly convoluted situation. Basically the Xbox version gets 4K, Local MP, 60fps plus achivements and the Switch gets online multiplayer but a far weaker experience in regards to framerate and resolution as expected. The absolute killer for both versions is that NEITHER are the remaster that was leaked last year on PC which was an excellent ground-up reworking plus like with Halo and it's MCC versions, you could switch to the old appearance in the press of one button. So basically both devices get the old N64 port with varying quality and MP features but nobody gets what was finished back in 2008 which was the Xbox Live Arcade version made to the same standard of the outstanding Perfect Dark remastering. Seems everyone is gonna get the short straw with this but at least Rare Replay owners will get it for free. It's such a travesty the unreleased version from 2008 will never legitimately see the light of day and those money men clowns who own the IP's don't know the opportunity that they've let walk by.

  32. Am I the only one here quite disappointed on the basis it is just looking like a Port in 4k? I'm totally with @J4MES OX4D here that outside the nostalgia of playing it a few hours, I can't ever see the appeal in it at all. If you wanted that feeling, then I understand playing it on an original N64. It looks like it hasn't aged well and the 4k sharpness of the graphics makes me feel slightly on edge if I tried to play it too. If it was just a port, this is all it needed to be for about £2.50. I'm sure many people asking for its return were hoping for much more like a Remastered version? I'm glad I never had the hype of this game at the time as I don't feel sad about the release of this.
