Don't think they've got the stat for total hours played which is a shame (plus a blessing) and a bit surprising. Everything else is nicely detailed but not the biggie.

Great find @J4MES OX4D . I didn't play as much as I would've hoped on my PC this year. Most of it came in the first quarter and across 7 Days, DayZ and a little on Valheim. Hoping to play much more across the year in 2023. I can't seem to get the total hours played unless someone can see it anywhere?

I'm looking forward to getting myself back into it. Just exploring at my own pace and wanting to see what we can make with all the new stuff should be a great time together.

Really sorry to hear about her passing @GazzaGarratt, I hope you and your family was able to have a good day. I took my girls round to my sister's on Christmas Eve, we have a family gathering that day. So I mainly went for the girls to see the family we don't usually see. I'm never fussed about going but if I don't want to go, I get blamed... I was really happy my youngest was getting tired which gave us an excuse to leave, just before they started playing games, which I don't care about doing but would be moaned at had I not joined in. I did have a fire tablet lined up for my eldest's birthday at the end of January, but I caved and decided to let her open it for Christmas. She doesn't get anything big from us and it makes me feel bad that I can't get her nice things. Christmas Day has just been spent at home, which hasn't gone without issues throughout. The girls seemed really happy though, which is all that matters to me. Next few days I'll just divide time between chess, gaming and the girls, possibly a bit of reading if I feel up to it. Merry Christmas FG.

Oh yeah buying it just for emulation would be stupid but the fact it can emulate aswell is a Brucey bonus.

You know me and emulators 😅 You can do what you want with it buddy, personally i'd be testing it out with proper PC games rather than emulated games as theres so many cheaper devices out there that can do that for you without the need to use a powerful piece of kit like this.

Why do you say that? I’ll definitely be playing regular PC games in the beginning but the ability to re-play old games or play some I’ve missed is something to look forward to.

Yeah I may have to do the same. Ground war is a sniper haven though. Not sure if the distances are different. I usually get them done in HC though. Without a true HC it’s gaming it difficult

TAQ-M is done. Moved on to some SMGs; Fennec and Lachmann Sub (using a Blueprint for Lacmann though, Espionage i think its called). I'm thinking of playing Ground War to try and do the longshots when I get round to them. I feel like you have to be even further away in this game than previous CoDs.

Yes sadly that's true, been the same since Cod4/The OG MW2. The W/L means nowt to these lads. They don't know what graft is and defending a flag unfortunately. 🙂

I just picked this up tonight. it was on sale so Carl and La convinced me to snatch it up. I'll probably give this a go at some point this upcoming week.

I've said it for most of the year that mine would be Elden Ring. FS took everything they've learned with the soul's formula and perfected it in my opinion. Vampire Survivors created a whole new genre of games and made me add that to have a co-GoTY. Then, High on Life came in at the end and just made my day. To sit back and just enjoy a game that didn't take itself seriously while enjoying almost every aspect of it, I'm gonna give it my Xbox GoTY easily. Horizon FW didn't really do anything new to me. It was fun, but felt more of the same. Sifu was fantastic. I really enjoyed getting into that one and learning out to dodge and combat multiple enemies in different ways. Frustrating at times, yes. but worth it. GoW Ragnarok was a fun one even though the Atreus parts really sucked IMO. RE:Village started off really good before devolving into a more action focused game which kind of sucked to be honest. Especially after the doll house area. I know there's more I can't think of off the top of my head, but it was a decent year for games to be sure. 2023 should be interesting too.

Episode 25 is LIVE!!!! Due to a wicked winter storm hitting us here in southern Ontario, we were unable to hook up to record a new episode. But, we had one up our sleeve in case of an emergency like this. We talk about the dreaded micro transactions good and bad. Enjoy folks, and Merry Christmas!

I got all snipers gold. All weapons are now gold. Took advantage of shipment and got the shotguns platinum. Now the real grind starts. Long shots

I started playing this the other day and it had me properly lolling. The knife is especially funny.

Got my first platinum today on the M4, those longshots are such a grind I can't see myself doing them all. Those of you that are getting through them you have my respect!

I’ve been seeing clips of this game on TT etc. looks funny as fuck. It even got to the point where I was considering buying an Xbox to play it 😂. I saw a clip in game where you had to shoot a kid but the gun wouldn’t let you and sent you on a guilt trip 😂😂 or when you don’t shoot when your being shot at he screams at you for o smash every button and do something 😂😂 awesome.

I just finished this tonight and man, that was fucking fun! does it do anything revolutionary to improve the standard FPS formula? Nope. But, it was a blast from beginning to end. Set your controller down without pausing and leave it. After a few moments, the main gun "Kenny" will chastise and lecture you on not pausing and say things like "who the fuck does that anyway?" I'd chalk this one up as my top xbox game of the year. So much so, that I may do another run through just to finish up some achievements. Awesome game!

So my finger may have slipped and ordered one earlier - oh well. I've been eyeing up one for a while but quite a few games I'd play on it aren’t properly supported but having spent far too much time reading online about people running Windows on it and emulators, it's a hard proposition to say no to so finally gave in. It says delivery is 2 weeks but I imagine they've sold a lot leading up to Christmas and Christmas itself is going to delay that further but looking forward to lunch times in the office next year 😄 I've also ordered a dock for it too, not so much for connecting a screen but being able to use the mouse and keyboard at my desk at work over lunch will be great. I've also ordered an SD card so lots of storage for other games too.

M13B is gold 🙂 I would say that most AR a far better, however I get to run around in a lobby with a gold M13 and shield and watch all those kids shit themselves and run away.

It’s easy to level up. Play obj mode games and just cap flags or capture the hard point. You get the XP from that towards the weapon. Add the double XP and it was easy. Mine was already at level 13 prior to double XP.

The riot shield was a blast on Shipment. Some of the most fun I had in the game. Couples with the combat knife it was pure awesome sauce

So I got 2 Launchers Platinum, the Pila and Jokr. So easy...... Will probably do the RPG as well. Maxed more guns as well, then will have to do a pile of challenges. So far the max level guns I have: Assault Rifles- M16, Chimera (last 2 to get gold) LMGs-Raal, Rapp (last 2 to get gold) Shotguns-Bryson 890, Lock wood (last 2 to get gold) SMG's-VEL, Vaznev, Minibak, Lachmann Sub, Fennec (no gold SMG's yet) Battle Rifles-FTAC Recon Melee-Riot Shield So plenty of work to be done to get them all finished. 🙂

Ok, I'm really enjoying this game. It's still got me laughing and chuckling along as I fight my way through each bounty mission. I picked up my second living gun, which is a shotgun/disc launcher that can create platforms in hot wall areas. I also just got a Series X, so running this on that is silky smooth too.

I played through the intro/prologue last night. I gotta say, that intro had me laughing my ass off. Aside from that, the shooting seems fairly generic. It’s nothing I’d say is revolutionary, but the controls are pretty tight.

Yeah let us know! If the shooting is decent I'll give it a spin.
