A few weeks ago I eluded to Memberships at the end of the Achievements article I did. So, wait no longer, as here they are! One thing that sets us apart from everywhere else is the generosity that we all give to the cause that is FG. We look after own - and others - like nowhere else. That's down to all of us. I've been thinking about how we can help without having to feel like me and others here nag/nudge/kick you all 4,5,6, or 74 times a year to kindly donate to the good causes that we try to do via the FGFGF - The Forever Gaming Feel Good Fund. We'll always have the ability for you all to donate on an ad-hoc basis to help us keep doing the things we're doing here. Whenever you feel you want to do that, please just use the Donate button you can find on the Homepage ❤️. Thinking about it. Saw an ad the other day and it looked pretty amazing

Knowing most of the tracks definitely helps with some of the challenges. Although I did have to make one race 'medium' difficulty as my car was simply not keeping pace. It also took me a while to realise if I want to change my power output to get my PP down, I have to buy a mod for each car that enables that option in the tuning. It's been great so far and I'm enjoying it a lot. I'm switching between this and Cyberpunk as my main games right now.

I'm liking it as well it's a little difficult for me but that's due to lack of skill/knowledge about the game I'm thinking of turning off the brake assist

It is definitely fully fleshed out thats for sure. You don't actually unlock the Multiplayer until you finish Menu Book 9, which I think looking back is a good thing. Usually if you just pick up the game people don't fully understand everything that's going on, so this early learning as the game flows you about everywhere is really helpful - and it means you have a good bunch of cars to start your collection too. Looking forward to going back on soke licences and circuit experiences to see where I land in the FG pack as I've usually just tried to get gold and then move on so far! Oh, and it definitely feels more challenging to drive the cars. Haptic feedback on a PS5 controller may have something to do with that.

I can collect again!!!!! My first purchase was my car, an '05 Mini. Although not a JCW like mine, it will do. Got through my B in gold, working on my A. Had to break for D2 as I promised to be on the raid team team. So far I'm right in the middle for most. I like being the meat in the FGGT sandwich.

I'm glad you gave the option for monthly, helps me in my situation and I can still keep feeding money through gradually without too much of a worry. Plus I find it easier to commit when it's a set up and leave like subscriptions than I am with just random donations. Thanks.

Dear God! S10 is difficult! I think I clocked over 120 miles around Spa but only actually managed to complete 3 or 4 laps. Still, I got the gold in the end so that’s all licences gold for me. Which thankfully means, I never need to look at the bloody things again 😄

26 symbols is a bit overkill. Getting used to the official names is rough after a full day of using what we came up with. Week 1 raid complete was fun! Stressful at times and sometimes even the littlest things can end a run, but definitely a good time with pals. Hardest bit is definitely the encounter before boss. I won’t say much for those looking to stay blind, but it requires everyone to do at least 1 thing besides add clearing, which means more opportunities to wipe! But that just means it’s all the more sweeter when it gets done. GG to my week 1 clear team, to the remainder of my day 1 attempt team. Can’t wait to hop in with everyone else when we can!

Awesome raid, awesome company. What more is there to say 🤷‍♂️ GGs all round. Now to do it all over again 🙈

See all that makes me want to do is rewatch Avatar 😄 I was reading about some of the good weapons earlier and it makes me want to try and get them before continuing the main story as I’m still missing a couple of elements.

OMG I LOVE THESE GAMES SO MUCH!

Just wait until you get to the licence in the AMG GT at the Nordschlieffe. It must have taken me 20 attempts and even then I only squeaked gold by a couple of tenths. On that note, I am finding the licences inconsistent. I smashed one earlier by over a second on my second attempt yet the next one took 10 to get gold by a tenth. I’m still not used to the handling of this, I still feel every car is too tail happy. A bit of power oversteer or even some lift off oversteer I can live with but when you get lift off oversteer in a 1960 Fiat 500 at 25mph it starts to seem a bit much.

Cannot tell a lie, it did take me about 7 or 8 attempts 😁 There's one at Tokyo Expressway too that I was tempted to leave for another day 😅

Finished the campaign and damn I'm impressed I have so many questions and I want to knuckle down and prepare for the raid!!!

Yep, same as that. I set up an FG lobby for the lols but I'm concentrating on the objectives and licenses before I worry about multiplayer.

Played about 4 hours now so I can get gold on all of the licenses and I'm on International A now, next is super license. Absolutely love this game already but no signs of online play showing up yet!

Played a couple of hours last night and a little bit at lunchtime. Have my B license already and I see myself on this a lot over the next week🙂

What I think is fantastic news is that still playing GT7 on a PS4 Pro or even a standard PS4, it looks incredible still. Ray Tracing seems the way to go on a PS5 because when you are racing everything is locked at 60FPS anyway, its just the replays that are impacted and really worthwhile too, after watching the video below. The loading times are scarily quick on PS5 but I hope that if this seems the only huge difference between a PS4 and a PS5 version, then most here that are still on a PS4 shouldn't be put off by buying the PS4 version of the game.

My copy should come tomorrow from Amazon. Bear in mind its probably useful for the first few weeks to get used to the game and progress some story/campaign features. Super GT explains in that video it may take a few hours to unlock the Multiplayer side of things.

It goes live tonight at midnight UK time. The reviews are all very positive, and the digital foundry review was excellent if anyone caught that.

I probably wont get this until I've finished Elden Ring but it's definitely something to look forward to.

Seems reviews are all pretty positive for this and the handling changes look to be positive changes with cars feeling more different and bumps and kerbs having more effect. So all I can say is; is it Friday yet?!

I'm pre ordered with amazon so should get it Friday as planned. I have my kids this weekend so it's likely my first chance to play will be Sunday evening. Really looking forward to the single player campaign. I'm hoping the fact that you can really modify cars means that we could do race nights where you have to get JDM car for example and we modify the fuck out of them and race through Tokyo. Is there also a drifting mode? That would be cool too. Also might be worth us making an announcement about the game releasing this Friday to see if we can rope more FGers in to playing as we're all starting from a certain baseline (except Greebs because he's a wheelie big cunt)

Slight derail but don't you have an extertnal SSD for all your PS4 games? Saves space for the selected PS5 games for me! I need to pre-order this today so I get a copy sent out. Base.com seem to have it at £60 with pre-order bonus...can't beat my physical copy now can I 😄

I too had it ordered on Amazon but cancelled it yesterday and pre-installed the digital version instead. Because of MW2019 I have no space for games and sadly decided to uninstall GT Sport to make room. 800+ hours spent on that game. But I do have it installed on the PS4 Pro still, so it hasn't gone completely 😁

An FYI in case people don’t know, if you preordered digitally you can download it in preparation for release. I had it preordered with Amazon but realised I had some psn credit for Christmas so might as well switch to digital as it isn’t a game I’ll be getting rid of. Enjoy your week off with it Phil, I expect a full review and dialy videos 😄 as I doubt I’ll have much time to play before the 9th 😞 Early reviews from those who got their amazon orders early are positive. Though seems licence test may be on the easier side again like GT Sport as seems people are getting mosty golds on their first attempts. They are the lower end licences though so maybe the higher end ones will be harder, fingers crossed.
