It’s beginning to look a lot like zombies! Yes it’s that time of the year again! Xmas? No no no! Surviving! Over the next 48 hours we will be testing the new dedicated server before releasing it out into the wild. I know many of you have put your name in the hat and have kindly donated to the server. It would be great if we could get names in this thread, so we can see if you need to up the slot limit. I have done a little testing today on the server. After some initial niggles it seems to be working beautifully. With regards players maybe stick to 10 for now and see how it goes. I'd be interested to see how it performs with 10 concurrent players on a horde night😅 Thanks @tronic44 for setting it up with GTX. Where you find the time I don't know😁

The drone looks bloody awesome. We've never had something like that before! I'm also stocked by another quest variety added, alongside the Bicycle reward after 10 Tier 1 Quests - thats massive for us I believe. Sounds like we'll have to be careful on the meds because the rarity is going up. At least it means people can help focus on certain skills to help the overall FG crew.

I'm in - the slots thing though I believe is 10 players online concurrently rather than 10 max but totally would be ace to see large party nights on this. Horde nights with a large group are hilarious as ever, especially if you fall from tall heights 👀🤣

Thanks for the responses @The3rdWalker @techno and @J4MES OX4D . I was trying to understand both sides because I do agree that priority should be sorting out the crappy parts of the game first, and i'd also go along with that you want the general themes to at least stay within the realms of what the game is about, to an extent. I suppose my initial reaction was it was just bad marketing timing rather than a huge issue for me. I think all the games that have an element of realism to them e.g. using humans, war based games, etc, will always get criticism of wacky skins. Whereas games that are more about fiction e.g. Overwatch, Destiny, Fortnite, etc, can get away with having pretty much any skin they want because it doesn't mess with the mind of the consumer as much. I hope they fix the game in the coming weeks and months so we can actually see if they can put some decent skins together like Warzone actually has of late.

Blimey there’s been a lot of seasons! Ignoring year 1 , which even led to me abandoning destiny , I think the worst seasonal event was probably undying (the vex one right?) although that was propped up by shadow keep. Likewise the hunt seasonal stuff was ok but very light, put propped up by the DLC. Can’t remember much about Dawn or worthy , think I ducked out in Dawn and went and did CoD for a bit !

yea it was the only season that year without raid content🥲 im looking forward to what they will be doing with the seasonal shizzle i enjoyed battlegrounds thoroughly, overrides were long but kinda cool expunged were cool too I only wish the Astral alignment would have more "games" besides the 3 just like in menagerie because holy shit i loved menagerie but don't talk to me about the heroic ogre fight for shadow

looks really great the dismemberment will be fun the expanded seating will make life easier XD zombies ducking doesnt sound fun

I will agree with you @GazzaGarrattthat outlaw was dry by itself without the dreaming city stuff to do but I suppose it was destiny's biggest update with the changes to the guns system and new supers so maybe they just said "fuck it let's give em bounties"

season of the drifter gambit was never my thing but reckoning was cool to me it was just the addition of gambit prime and reckoning tho there were good weapons i just think that it was a tad bit tedious to sit through reckoning and gambit games hats off to any of those mfs who got the reckoner title cause Jesus christ that looks like the next 10 years gone down the drain to me😅

Not everyday will feel like progress, but you are making progress mate. You have sorted so many practical things like your house potential sale to other key factors like your kids - all alongside you dealing with this emotionally. So many things have already been sorted and time is helping you heal, we can definitely see that. Just know on the days where it seems more tougher than others, that we're here pal, like always. Talk, moan, laugh and joke with us whilst we play online. Because everyone like Dad jokes, right? 😎

Coronavirus will definitely hit a few more clubs in the next month. Praying its not going to hit Rovers though. I actually think top players won't go until they see them moving away from the relegation zone. They might have to go to the Championship and lower down to buy some up and coming quality but they aren't like Man City or Chelsea when they both got took over as they were mid/lower table teams, not relegation bound ones.

I hope so too. Never understood why BR games force players on one map at a time. Sure, the playerbase could hate a map and then back out every time if it was in a rotation but surely that means you fix the map to make it better overall rathert than forget the old maps completely. Fingers crossed we see some form of rotation of both maps in a few months time.

Disappointed that a big player has pro-actively took this step. What is this world coming to when we are saying something intangible as a Digital 'thing' costs millions.

All I can say is wow loved this film and you definitely need to watch it. If you like five nights at freddys then you'll love this.

I made a thread earlier this year about NFT's when it was considered 'early days' and since then, $MILLIONS have changed hands on absolute shit from low quality pixel items, to dogshit 'art' made in paint and text files. It's crazy to see where this is going and videogame companies will jump on it especially when content creators are flogging effortless crap for six-figure sums. I think there will be a lot of laundering and under-the-table shit going down but anything 'official' will probably do well because it's somewhat trusted rather than something someone knocked up in their lunch break. Anyone that buys into this guff will either need to get their brain tested or is probably embroiled in something illicit.

Yeah it's been in development for ages. You can access it before launch by buying the super duper version but yeah that's not happening. Still will keep an eye as its getting decent feedback and there's a Drewski video where he plays it with AI team mates that shows it off quite well.

Good news is that they are updating it for PS5 in February and apparently it's free to PS4 owners. I have it on console and you'll need your wheel for it as its too hard with a controller, I've tried 😁

Be interesting to see who joins them in Jan especially if they are in the relegation zone. Whoever goes there will be doing it purely for a fat pay cheque for the rest of the season. They probably wont be able to make an high-wage permanent signings because if they go down, they wont be able to meet the fair play rules based on their income unless they start cheating like QPR did. I hope they get relegated and then all talk of Mbappe signing will be put to bed🤣

Keep forgetting this game exists - feels like it's been around for years and still isn't out yet. I've never been too keen on the name just like that other game called Nine to Five but I hope it develops into a recognised tactical shooter that's of some quality.

I don't mind skins as long as the core game works and they don't make the game/brand look like an embarrassment. Some of the skins in games over the years have been absolutely pathetic quality yet others have given people something to work towards or purchase. The specialists in Battlefield which are the basis of the skins themselves are absolutely flawed and it seems the designs just make them look worse. Maybe if they hired some competent game designers who didn't resign in the first week and then some visual artists to competent their creations with expansive skin designs then it would be great. Sadly these devs just seem to roll in-house, get someone to knock something up without thought and then they try and monetise it. Fortnite is a great example of quality through collaborations and marketing. Warzone is making similar strides. 2042 is about 6 years out of date with generic and embarrassing material.

Where do I stand on skins, first of all make sure your game works, second, if fools want to waste their money on shit that's upto them, especially skins in an FPS. What I don't like is when you make fundamental design decisions just to integrate them, even more so when those design decisions changed is one of the core things that make battlefield, battlefield the class system.

Better not be on the naughty list. My thought on skins? If it's cool and I want one I'll buy it, if it's not cool or I don't want one I won't buy it. They are cosmetic and an easy way to keep revenue flowing into the game. Benefits everyone, hurts no one. (Thanks Biden, lol) It makes my blood boil in R6 when someone says, "this pizza helmet is ruining my immersion." Bitch, you pull a 10x5 piece of steel out of your pocket and a drill. Shush.

I was a little burned out with 7 Days waiting for Alpha 20. But then it drops completely out of the blue🙂 Suffice to say, a lot of time will be spent on this. Will test it out this week and we'll probably then organise a dedicated server. I'll start a game server up tomorrow that we can play on while we test the new patch. @RenFengge and @TurboR56Mini you really need to join us in 7 Days to Die, it is so much fun accidentally killing @Greboth with dynamite despite friendly fire being switched on😁 To think how long ago it was that I saw @tronic44playing this and joined in, so many hours of fun 🙂

A little update. I stated the house was not to go on the market till after the new year so a couple of weeks ago a mate called me saying the house was on the market she had put it up for sale behind my back saying to the estate agents and our estate agent that I said it was ok so they were pretty pissed off but they've said it won't sell till February which I've said that's ok as long as it is that month anytime before I won't sign as I need to find my own place. Last weekend I lost a mate to AML leukaemia he battled it for 3 years back in July they said there was nothing else they could do for him. But I'm doing ok just planning my future once I get a place.

Either you or Leeeeeigh mentioned it recently I think, probably why it was in my head to check
