  1. So, at the halfway stage, it's @JBR-Kiwi with a decent lead. @Greboth has it all to do for the second half of the season. I'm in nose bleed territory 🙂 P Driver Race 1 Race 2 Race 3 Race 4 Race 5 Race 6 Total 1 JBR-Kiwi 25 25 n/a 25 25 20 120 2 phil_oi 12 20 20 12 11 25 100 3 Greboth n/a 15 25 20 20 15 95 4 GazzaGarratt 15 11 11 15 15 11 78 5 slamminbones 11 9 n/a 11 8 12 51 6 Crispy n/a 10 12 n/a 10 10 42 7 Mikepjbell n/a 12 15 n/a 12 n/a 39 8 TehBluebear 20 8 n/a n/a 9 n/a 37 9 Diddums n/a n/a 10 n/a n/a n/a 10

  2. I stand by my 'we should have supported Poch, not sacked him' position. Wasted years and who knows how we'll get back to having a decent team.

  5. I said i'd never do a Wolf Run or Mud Run ever again....but with the thoughts of wanting to do something for Charity here at FG, I don't think there's anything better than doing a huge Wolf Run with all people here at FG raising money for a Charity we voted for some time ago. I'm hating the though of it whilst I write it but, hey, this is FG, and we need to keep giving something back as thats what we do best. Event Wolf Run - Warwickshire (link below) The Wolf Run - Wild Running - Mud Run - Trail Run - Obstacle Run - 10k run across raw natural terrain, including open countryside, woodland, lakes & thick mud THEWOLFRUN.COM The Wolf Run is not your average mud run, trail run or obstacle run - it’s all three and then some! The only Wild Run in the UK, it’s a hardcore 10k run across raw natural terrain, including open ground, woodland, lakes... Dates 23rd or 24th April 2022 We can select the most available date for all Eligibility I'm thinking for this one, we could actually ask partners if they wanted to come along and run with FG for the big day if they can raise funds too! On the 24th, even kids can run on a smaller course if they are 7-17 so lets see what interest we have! Cost £60 per adult We can enter a Team Entry - "Wolf Runners who want to run as a pack with their friends and family and for every pack of 5 runners, we give you the fifth place free! ** Please note that you must sign up all 5 runners at the same time to get the fifth place free. Not applicable to Junior events.**" Charity We agreed a few years back that we wanted to raise money for MIND - A Mental Health Charity. I think it would be amazing if we raise at least £20 each whoever wants to particiate so we can pass over a large cheque for them! Rewards A Wolf Run Medal A Wolf Run t-shirt A bespoke FG personalised running shirt/vest to be used on the day so we can all be recognised raising money for Charity in FG's honour! Roll Call! (I'll update as interest is mentioned below) Lee @GazzaGarratt So let's get to it everyone, actions speak louder than our words and so if we want to raise money for Charities that make a difference, we need to make a stand and start doing it! Let's hear your names and thoughts below!! GGFG

  6. If I could kick a football around the course maybe 😁 I hate running, worst thing about football training was the cross country running, just so boring. My brain can't take it. So probably not but good luck to all🤗

  7. Phil I think your table is broken as that clearly can't be correct 😆 I can't see me managing to claw back enough on Kiwi to make up for the missed race but it's going to be fun trying anyway.

  9. It seemed I found my problem with GT which is corners 😂 But a cracking race was 2nd till I pitted but thinking back maybe I could of put less fuel in and fuel saved a bit but a cracking race.

  10. Maps look decent, if they can stabilise the game a little fro the beta I think we have to give them credit where credit is due. Definitely feels more Battlefield than any other one before, can't put my finger on why i feel that though.

  11. @phil bottle fully deserved the win, a very strange race behind him watching @JBR-Kiwi and @Greboth change it into a tactical race. It threw me that much that i tried to switch to it 3 laps in but it was a little too late to do that. Last lap and a half I had to relinquish second and then dropped down even further as the fuel ran out before the last corner. @slamminbones rightly deserved his 4th place after staying with the pack for the full 21 laps.

  12. I've heard this is a fantastic game on the PS4, I remember when Nat @Deep_diving_in_Lake_Hyrule said it was a great remastered version to get your hands on so glad its free now!

  13. It's a pretty sad state of affairs when fans are delighted that were are receiving the same amount of content day one than what we used to get back in 2009-10 at launch. Credit to Sledgehammer for delivering some quantity at least but whether the maps on offer along with the game itself has any quality is another matter. I don't like them recycling maps either because once Treyarch started doing that, they got awfully comfortable and their innovation and creativity nosedived. Sledgehammer shouldn't be rehashing other developers maps either and instead doing their own content from scratch. I still haven't found one reason to buy the game and this will be the first COD I don't own. I haven't seen 'hype' so flat since Infinite Warfare and this one could be received even worse now with Warzone such a high priority for the majority. I don't think my interest in Call of Duty has ever been so low and I probably wouldn't even play it if it was free.

    FG League - Season 3

Yup, I think we need to make a pact to never let something like this happen again 🤣 I’m annoyed at myself as I cost myself second and maybe even the win hitting the wall on the exit of the last corner. Still Phil played a blinder and while I thought it was a mistake to go for it the whole race, especially after the time he lost in the pits but he soon made it back up and obviously it paid off with getting the win.

    Deathloop

Deathloop down by 34% in the Steam Halloween sale. I never finished this game in the end because it got old fast sadly. I really enjoyed the first few hours but it soon became repetitive and tedious. The biggest culprit is the AI which is probably the worst I have ever encountered in a game and without a doubt, the most dissatisfying to go up against. It plays such a big part in the experience but the enemies are just so stupid, it's like playing a COD campaign mission on recruit over and over. They pose no threat, are easy to cheese and the game itself is very generous with 2 reprise (2 lives) per location which makes the game pathetically easy. You could in theory die 8 times in one loop and still finish the game. By nature of its design whereby you can infuse (retain) powers, weapons, perks and other boosts, Colt only gets stronger as the game progresses yet it's too easy even barebones. There are no difficulty settings either and the stealth elements are very weak because bodies disappear into Residuum so they don't need to be hidden. There are some good ideas in this game and I think the framework is there but the execution is way off in a few regards. Game is too easy and only gets easier by design and the AI is beyond horrendous. I think they probably could've done with twice as many locations too and a couple that are in the game aren't big or varied enough as it is. I don't care how much someone enjoyed the game or how lenient their review score threshold is, there is just no way this game deserves 10/10 under any credible circumstances.

  16. Big congrats to Mr @phil bottle on his win last night! I believe that this is the first race in three seasons that hasn’t been won by @Grebothor myself, so I’m pretty sure we are both going to work extra hard in next weeks race to try and restore the status quo! 😂 This weeks race seemed so simple but it was clear that from the off in practice that tactics were going to play a massive part in the outcome of the race. Drafting played a incredibly important on this track with a good draft easily saving you half a second on your lap time. From lap one it was clear that fuel saving was going to be the main strategy with Phil being the only person to say fuck it and go balls to wall every lap 😂 I’m absolutely gutted that I made my move half a lap too soon and ran out of fuel exiting the final corner!!

    New project RC

I think so. I have seen a guy in the past that has done some very realistic diorama type scenes like old gas stations and junkyards withe cars like that. Probably the same guy I bet. His stuff is really nicely done.
