    Back 4 Blood

Inspired by Left 4 Dead and made by the same people, Turtle Rock Studios. Looks very promising indeed. I'm just gonna pretend Evolve didn't exist!

  4. Well done to the recent winners! It truly is a wonderful thing you have done here Lee. I'm sure it will cheer some people up and possibly give people a chance to play a game they personally wouldn't buy or play otherwise. For me the FG Mug and hoodie is the cream of the crop. All the prizes are amazing and your so generous for hosting this huge raffle Lee!

  6. That's totally it! The flip has been switched. It's like the enemies aim is way better and they destroy you in 2 bullets and you have hardcore health when playing core. I've had games when I'm 25-8 first half, then by the end of it I'm 32-26 or something. It's like the playing field has been evened to try make you on a 1kd. Had other games when it's been a horrible half like 4-12 and I've ended 18-18. I barely rage quit either, only a couple of times when there has been awful lag and it feels I've had no chance. I think the lag has been added during game. It's not right in a somewhat competitive environment, when say I'm having a nice game, I'm tactically positioning well. My aim is spot on and my general engagements have been superior to the enemies. Then it all goes to shit eventually. WTF is that? That's not a gaming experience, it's torture and rage inducing. How is that fair? Variables I can't control or account for. 😥

  7. I’m not sure about WandaVision but it looks a more interesting idea than the Falcon and Winter Soldier which just looks quite generic action. Loki does look good too and if they write his character as good as the films it should be too.

Not sure if this is a remake or a new game but hopefully it’ll be better than the last. The original on the N64 was magnificent for its time and it was great to revisit it again on the 360 arcade

  10. I’ve only played a bit and I’m loving this mod so far, the amount of extra items is insane! First you start with two books you can read, which open up the two perks they relate to. Not only that, it opens quests for those perks which opens up more sections of that perk. You can then upgrade those perks with points from levelling up. I’ve had a look and it looks like you can create these books later on, to be able to open other things. I’ve chosen farmer and hunter, I know others have chosen different ones so hopefully we can work together to build up our shiz. The games gone from building one work station to having to build about 7 of them, all of them do different things. So far I don’t think it’s any harder than without the mod, there are just more zombies. Saying that, going out at night is a big no no at the moment but I’m pretty sure it’s normally like that at the start of the game. Food and water seemed to be a bit tight at the start and think it may be a struggle for food or at least until we’ve unlocked more recipes. The amount of animals that are about is ridiculous, unfortunately even your average cow might try to take you down haha

  11. Yeah that's definitely happened to me loads - I finish the first half with practically an erection and then the the second half I get buttfucked🤣 I once think I got 42 kills in Nuketown DOM in the first half and ended the match with just 49 and most of those came from killstreaks! It was like the opposition completely flipped a switch yet we had B in both halves so the second should have been just as routine to dominate. I was expecting to break my record of 60ish kills and I couldn't even get 50! I barely rage quit any matches and I wonder if that's down to all my 'assisted' comebacks...

  12. Just looked back through this whole thread. Man James you can really catch a good screenie. Your making all these games look beautiful new or old. I barely take any, a screenshot is something I take by mistake if I fudge the share button on PS4 with a very clumsy thumb placement. Good on ya tho, even if I don't play or have played many of these games. Sure are nice to look at!

  13. I've noticed so many instances where I've been going something like 2-9 and then suddenly finished the game with 40+ kills and less than 15 deaths. I have also been in situations where I've started brightly on a hot 10-0 streak let's say, and then finished the game with a score of 16-14 or summat. Other times my aim has been off or I haven't been able to kill someone easily and in others I have been able to melt with minimal effort. Suddenly all the bullshittery begins to make sense. I would love to see how EA do it for FIFA - ''player not allowed to win the match so even if the ball is on the goal line, their shot goes over the bar''

  14. Funny thing is, after 11 games, we've scored more goals than in any other season since the 1960s. I'm no Jose lover, as you know very well, and I'd be the first to say the football is shit to watch, as that would back up my fears. But it isn't the case. He has shown a few people he's not a spent force or one trick pony, and they haven't the wit to get their heads around it. On Thursday on BT they spent the whole time trying to talk Winks and Deli out of the club. It's boring as fuck substandard shite and I turn the sound off when I watch the game, which makes it a lot more pleasant experience 😁

From what I just read, it has nothing to do with the original game, other than using the USP.

  19. Yeah the Loki and falcon/winter soldier ones look good (actually thought they were going to be films released in the new phase) to the point of making renew my disney+ subscription (that and the mandalorian), not sure about the WandaVision.

  20. From what I gather theres 2 lokis in the trailer. One that teleported away during endgame, which is then snatched by the TVA. He is then tasked with stopping the older version of Loki meddling with the affairs of earth in the past

  21. You give me too much credit 😹. The design for all of the above that I've posted have come from buying the patterns online. The only part I did was buy the materials required, the stitching and the time it takes to complete. I would like to eventually make my own patterns and when I can buy a copy of PCStitch I'll look at doing so.

    GT Sport - FG Races

This track isn't as technical as Mount Panorama / Bathurst but thought I'd do this guide to help @Misneach_ get up to speed and anyone else too. This guide does need a prefix though that I only tried the GR Supra and the 911; both I got pretty equal times but there may be a better car for this track. Definitely some time on the table, I got a 1:13 flat so 1:12's are definitely possible. For reference too I did this on a controller, manual gears and TC set to 0 and racing hards tyres. There's more speed to be had in the last corner but the more you push the more you risk touching the dirt on the outside and disappear off across those them desert hills there so this is my 'safe' approach sacrificing a bit of speed but with reasonable certainty I'll keep it on track. Edit: whoops, just watched it back and I cut off the full speed lap off a little early. The lap was a 1:13.045.

  23. @GrebothIndeed, Willow Springs international, looking at 15 laps with 5x tyres and 4x or 5x fuel. Any tyre in race and qualifying but must use hards for one lap minimum in race. Great write up by the way 🙂

    GT Sport - FG Races

A couple of good races last night and good to see Matty @Misneach_ on for the first time. Race 1 - Gr4 at Mount Panorama (or Bathurst for everyone else). As ever with Gr4 races, the Peugeot RCZ and Audi TT dominate the top of the leaderboard and also as ever I try to avoid them. I'd pretty much settled on using the Lexus RCF though tried the BMW M4 to see how it handled to give Matty some pointers. During practice, Lee raised about the gap and how much was down to using a wheel and auto gears so cue me picking up my controller and giving it ago. Not much of a surprise that I was slower but not massively (about 1.2 seconds) though I think I did 5 laps with a controller and auto gears so I think I could have cut that down a little more but it was an interesting experiment. Still on to qualifying, it's Bathurst so never simple but I managed to get it on pole relatively easily by 0.8 seconds IIRC but as ever with Bathurst, my optimal was considerably quicker than my actual lap. On to the race, Kiwi got the jump on me at the start and I dropped back a little too much on lap 1 to try for a pass but lap 2 was better and caught Kiwi heading up the chase. I tried for the pass but Kiwi defended which left me taking the outside which I couldn't hold. I tried to keep it close with the aim of trying a pass in to turn 2 and took a bit of a dive which ended up costing me time which I couldn't make up enough over the mountain to have a change going in to the chase. Results: Race 2 - Gr3 at Laguna Seca. This was an interesting one, the top times were a mix of cars mostly the Renault RS01 but with some Alfa 4C's, Honda NSX and Dodge Viper. Though Phil gave away some insider knowledge that online people had been using the Porsche 911. I tried the RS01 and while quick in it the car is a handful and any small mistake seemed to end in a spin. Still I endured through practice with it but decided to give the 911 a try which on my outlap I didn't think would be much good as it's got such long gearing but first lap out I set a faster lap and it's much easier to drive to I stick with it. On to qualifying and this was a lot tighter - I set a reasonable first lap to get pole, I set a faster second lap and then every lap after I was quicker but kept making mistakes trying to push. Kiwi mind was setting faster and faster times and I actually thought he stole pole though has actually missed it by a few hundredths of a second. On the last lap of quali I managed to complete a faster lap so took pole by only a couple tenths. Similar to Bathurst, Kiwi in the Viper got the jump on me at the start and again got a small lead by the end of lap 1. I wasn't too concerned though as being a 13 lap race with tyre wear there was going to be plenty of time to make up the time. Over lap 2 and 3 I caught up Kiwi and had a look or 2 at passing him but was happy to follow. Around lap 3 or 4, it was obvious Kiwi was struggling with his tyres and while mine were wearing I thought I could get to the end. At this point it became a strategy call and I decide to do my best to look after my right front and to follow Kiwi knowing that he was going to pit or be easy to pass towards the end of the race. As it turned out, Kiwi pitted end of lap 7 and I carried on lapping with the gap then being about 14 seconds for Kiwi to make up. Thankfully the Porsche is kind on its tyres and Kiwi wasn't making up that much time on me, I think he got it down to around 12 second but the Viper was not kind on its tyres meaning I could extend my lead in the last couple of laps and cross the line with 13 seconds in hand. The funniest, at least from my perspective, for this race was Lee. Lee decided to stick to the RS01 and ended up spending most of the race raging at the handling of it 😆 Results @phil bottle When you say Willow Springs, I assume it's Willow Springs international? It seemed to help Matty and I know Mike was watching too so think I'll make a track guide

  25. We'll probably do Willow Springs next week at Gr.3 as I think it's one where everyone has a chance to beat @Greboth It's very straightforward to drive but you cannot fuck up, not once, otherwise it's a one way trip to the shadow realm. I'll have a look at it today to see how many laps and how fuel and tyre choice can be used. I'm feeling adventurous. Sadistic, but yeah adventurous🙂 Any other requests?
