I'm glad to hear that this stuff will hopefully be able to be turned off. Immersion is huge to me in games like this. I'm with you, Phil. I have no intentions of being a crafty, stealth player. I'm going to slaughter everything on my first play through, lol.

I have a 5 year old MacBook @Plumbers Crack so I won’t be able to run the new COD as it fucking struggles with classic WoW and that’s a 16 year old game 🙈

Well like I was saying assault pack gives more score. A 50p ekia assist turns into 75p. A full kill 100p elimination is 125p. Also the confirmed tags are more than the denied tags. And Ekia is a mixture of 50p or 100p elimination kills. Small things like running UAV/cuav churn extra score. And usage of equipment like field mic/jammer earn 15 score if an ally kills an enemy with that in use. I believe it's a combo of all the things I've mentioned between my 2 posts.

Totally agree, I've read that all that crap can be turned off, fortunately. It's totally immersion breaking. I also hope the player movement and shooting mechanics are done right. GTA has not managed to do that very well, neither has Read Dead 2. It would be great if it was more like Rage 2, because the shooting in that is immense. I'm clearly prepped to do a lot of killing😁

I'm gonna be playing with a minimal HUD and hopefully this will remove all the UI clutter like this. Mafia Definitive Edition did the same - beautiful immersive game ruined by some horrible interface elements.

- I go 38-21 with 43 total objectives and finish second - Teammate gets 21 kills and 6 objectives and finishes top with over 1000 more points than me. This just goes to show how flawed the new scorestreak system is in places. No doubt the person had a huge streak with multipliers kicking in but it just seems so OP and objective play is shafted in some cases. It's really hard to build killstreaks in this game I must admit - 9 is probably my best but you don't even need to chain too many kills to land big streaks and insane points whereas objective players who may get two kills for every death don't have many points opportunities outside of the multiplier system I kinda miss the traditional system really. Bad players still don't stand much of a chance in earning even the smallest ones yet better ones can now land big ones even after dying a few times.

I still don't know how it works entirely - there are currently 3 prestiges in the game with levels 55, 50 and 100 but the seasonal ranking is apparently a completely different system on top like a big battle pass. I assume there will be more prestige levels added for each season but none of the explanations I have read explain it clearly. It will probably be a really simple system too but it's been made to sound so bloody convoluted! I think the current level cap is prestige 3 level 100.

One of our favourites when camping is home made pizzas. Which is one of the simplest things ever. Just a wrap bit of tomato puree, mozzarella and pepperoni. Bang that in a really hot frying pan for a few minutes and you have a great calzone type pizza for a fraction of the cost. Done this many a time with @G_dub52 and it's always gone down well

Definitely not worth getting a console just for one game especially if it's available through other means which offer the same level of quality. The only difference with the PS5 version is some ray traced reflections on Miami and the ability to play at a higher framerate. That's pretty much it. The availability of the console is also extremely limited through legitimate means. I would wait until there is specific games you are interested in that are built exclusively for the new gen especially if you are still happy with your existing machine.

For your purposes you have no need spend money on a PS5. It's faster and has a new controller. Unless you want to play in 4K or at 120 refresh rate (and have a TV that can handle that refresh rate) there's no real need right now.

Isn't that always the way though? in most call of duty's only skilled players would get a high level streak.....regardless of the system. Rewards skill, I don't actually think it's that hard to be good at CoD, there are so many tutorials and guides out there.....

Good racing last night, I need to remember to set up the races so everyone gets over the line before it decides the result. Listening to @GazzaGarrattrage about my corner cutting on Maggiore was worth the 0.5 second penalty😆 Apologies to @Spacedeck and @Mikepjbell as I may have been a bit clumsy on occasion trying to pass or defend. Great competition between @Grebothand @JBR-Kiwi , the two front runners on most tracks. Would it be better to suggest our own races from now? Could do it a week in advance so everyone has time to prepare and practice? That way we could do Qualifying and Races only, allowing extra time for more races? Could do a spreadsheet so we don't repeat the same tracks too often. If we're feeling anal we could record all the times and finish places for posterity, though this could be a problem for Greebs already large head😉 Have a think and let me know.

I like Miami. It's just too big for 6v6. They need to cut off a section of it for 6v6.

A few things spring to mind. Obviously longer streak multipliers. If they shoot streaks down, UAVs are 100, attack heli/chopper etc 300 score. Also ammo pack gives more score per kill and ally ekia. Also if you picked up a lot of blue tags denied they are worth less. Probably a combination of all these.

I've been trying to BBQ for ages but the bloody weather has not helped. Also, my rain canopy fell apart so it's been a complete shambles! Got out on Sunday though and made some lovely chicken and rustic shepherds pie!

We've gone on our inaugural family camping moment this year and we just dabbled abit in cooked breakfast and basic stuff thats easy. I definitely love the idea of doing it more whilst out camping rather than just at home. We've had a few BBQs but as my wife is a Veggie and i'm the exact opposite it doesn't combine for the most exciting range of food for us as a family! I know that @Middle Class Caveman has done some smoking of late and maybe @Stretch616 , @G_dub52 and @crispymorgan have done something different on their camping expeditions?

If they're doing this they have to top Angelina Jolie as Tomb Raider, even if they weren't top notch films. Always felt if they backed this franchise with money this would be pretty huge. The original films are not what you'd hope for (even though I still like them cos they're a super easy & corny watch)
