So, Dead Matter, another attempt at beating or improving on DayZ has now entered a closed alpha. I took a punt on it while it was in its funding stage, so I have access to it but can't talk about it due to NDA. There was a bit of an issue with the keys and the game is already been delayed for various reasons so I note that there's a few haters of it already, though I think some people exist just to have angry reactions.

A spin off from what we've doing over recent months (or should I say @Greboth and @phil bottle a lot more than me!) is rather doing just time trials, selecting the weekly race, having a few practice/qualifying laps and then having a 11 lap race. Phil took me on a spin last night and it was seriously good fun, much different to our Friday night banter, smash everyone in sight, games. I think it also helps you understand more about the cars strengths/weaknesses as well as the track layout which is a massive factor if we are turning it into a race. There were minor penalties on too for cutting corners or going ignoring the speed limit which really did work when i thought initially it wouldn't. I'm thinking we should make this into a little mini series. GT Sport is £12.99 on Amazon next day delivery now and anyone that loves racing games is a fool not to own the game already. @Greboth @G_dub52 @JBR-Kiwi what do you reckon?

What a dumbass - opened his mod menu for all to see! Twitch channel nuked and he left humiliated It really begs the question how many of these streamers and YouTuber's resort to this behaviour? There's already been strong suggestions that some have used special modded controllers and/or been reverse boosting to generate content for their audience and this incident just goes to show it can and still does happen. Anyhow, I can see quite a few 'curb your..' and 'it was at this moment...' meme videos being created out of this🤣

So the 12 pin is a single cable rather than 2. Though I’m not really sure what the benefits of 1x12 pin is over 2x6pin. According to a leak the pricing will be 3060 - $400 3070 - $600 3080 - $800 3090 - $1400 😰 So looks like nVidia are continuing their crazy pricing. Which is a shame as I think it’ll price a lot of people out if the market and even out of the market for second hand 20 series cards as they’re not like to drop much either.

Also, how did we not talk about horde night a few days ago?!!? 5 of us online, it was absolutely mental! The walls stood strong for a few hours but they managed to finally get in to the house near the opening of the tunnel. Good news was we had plenty of bullets, plenty of arrows and plenty of people to keep each attack at bay. Vomit projectile policeman came out, shooting us like snipers from afar but we all nailed them with us ending up on the other side of the base as a final zombie attack came from just outside the concrete/cobblestone base but at one of the adjacent buildings - somehow Rich jumped over to bash their heads in, although i don't know how Michael Jordan did it cos everytime i jumped a faceplanted the wall every god damn time 😬 Great horde night with tons of XP....and everyone survived! I haven’t really played GT properly in a while but It’s racing so of course I’m game 😄

Its all going into the 'Destiny Content Vault' as is all other Destiny 1 things are. This has been my most concerning element of the entire update coming in November. I suppose that would be obvious if you heard just 'content being removed' but its specifically whats being removed in the endgame that i really worry about. Raids wise, 5 will go. Yes, a few were initially classed as raid 'lairs' however thinking how we used to experienced raids they really are just similar to old D1 raids in the past that we enjoyed running e.g. Crota. With 5 going and 2 being available from launch (Garden and the new one thats redacted) I worry how people will perceive this - i mean, the flip side is people moan about endgame content but in reality most of them won't even attempt one. Regardless, for people that make this game their main hobby I do wonder how they will roll out the content moving forward as what will determine if people stay is if there is enough new stuff for people to do and look towards. I'm hyped about Vault of Glass coming back...just hope its not the last time we see Menagerie and other large activities. One thing is for sure - we absolutely NEED more activities in larger parties that are easily accessible. Not just raids, go and make Patrol 6 player teams at least. The one thing in its favour is if you are removing this much content, they know as a developer there must be huge significant changes incoming, including lots of new content to be had. They've had this dream of live large MMO battles and there is one theory that they have to redo all the planets in this new way to allow them to cope with more than just 9 Guardians in any instance you are playing in the live world. THIS is what keeps me going. Yeah we might get those planets back, we might not. But lets face it, we all look forward to brand new stuff than recycled improved elements. They sure love doing the things to annoy us most, but then drag us back in with improved content nearly every time.

Enjoyed racing round Mugello, had a few accidents, got booted up the arse a few times and I worked up quite a sweat, which means I must have been trying to concentrate.

You basically pay $30 more not to play the game with the Ultimate Edition - it's like an expensive Ubisoft booster! This is what you got for the premium version a decade ago and now all you get tier skips for EZ digital crap LOL! The standard edition is all that's needed really. If anyone has a next gen console pre-ordered then it's the cross gen standard for them. I can get it for £46 on GMG but I may just wait 6 weeks and then pick it up for £25.
