Wow, this is bigger than I expected

Haven't experienced this much. I was doing a main quest with Tyler and we both had to do the interactions for the quest to continue so we were both on the same page, that's all. It's definitely a lot better. Obviously the reluctance was there, this crap should have been there at launch but you know what? I spent the $60 on it so I figured what the hell, I'll give it a go. Not really playing anything else anyways. Got my own private server and that cuts the lag down quite a bit especially when you're doing events. I guess the big 'draw' is just helping each other with our quests, trying out different legendary weapons/armor and base building. There are daily and weekly challenges. I've finished the main quests so now i'm looking into doing these more. I'm trying to discover the whole map and i'm also trying to get a good 'class' together. Leveling up after 50 is a bit like chess in you gotta be careful with what you're picking. I'm trying to get into crafting alcohol so I can sell it for caps to buy more plans. I know some of the guys are into trading with other players, visiting their bases and buying things from them. They got some cool mutagens from some of them. They also farm material a lot more then I do. The game is what you make it, I guess?

Premier League is back this week! For users who don't have Sky, there are matches being televised on normal TV. The first game is on Pick TV (Freeview 11) and it's Norwich v Southampton on Friday late afternoon. BBC then has Bournemouth v Crystal Palace on Saturday evening. Sunday evening is Everton v Liverpool on Pick TV and then we have Man City v Burnley on Monday night Pick TV again. What's making get a little more interested in this game is that it seems in a better place and how i've enjoyed 7 Days to Die on PC, it feels like it could be a similar experience, but on a PS4 which brings more FGers into the fold whilst they clearly save for a PC....😎 So I looked into this a little further. Its a $100 dollars for a year subscription with Fallout 1st that gives you a Private Server for you and 7 of your friends to go on to. This actually seemed like a real go-er for me, until I read that the server closes down if there is no Fallout 1st subscription member on the server, which I think is abit shitty tbh. So in reality you'd need the most active people to have subs otherwise you can't run a PS4 server. Has anyone seen a way around this? I thought it would've been a cool thing to do to have an FG Server for a year to see where it goes.

I wonder if the power brick is in the console again. It is pretty beefy but if the extra space is for cooling so it doesn’t sound like a jet taking off then I won’t complain too much.

Apart from graphics cards, anything with the words "gaming" on it is just a tax on those who don't know better and it drives me up the fucking wall. Does being a gamer mean you get extra performance? Does anyone look at a non-gaming router and go "nah, don't need the extra performance, that's for gamers". No, nobody does. Everyone wants to whack regardless. Fucking thieving scumbags. Anyway. Ignore that, Leigh's situation was rather different to the norm which is why he was fucking about for ages. All you need is a good router from a good brand, (google reviews on them, tbh the lack of advancement in this tech nowadays means that all but the shittiest models are running on the latest protocols), wired straight in to your PS4, job jobbed. Don't go blowing loads of cash on shit you don't need, if there's one thing we can all attest to, it's to you not needing more fucking power in CoD. Your shit ping is the only thing keeping us within the same postcode on the scoreboard. Have a read here, I've relied on this site (this used to be PC Format magazine for those in the know) and they've always been fairly decent. Whatever you do, don't go spunking £200 on a router for the sake of a 2m ethernet cable as 90% of the router cost goes in to the wifi shenanigans. That's what I like about sci fi when its done well, it should be thought provoking. You find that more in the literature though. Ray Bradbury's stories of humans visiting Mars are incredible for their critique of the human species, considering the times they were written, as one example of many, particularly the early sci fi writers. The modifying of cars in 3d is nothing new but for me not really, the modded Alfa just came about because I happened to be talking to the old man about old racing cars; E30 M3's, Sierra Cosworths and Capri's and I got curious about what the Alfa would look with a massive widebody on. Plus, as I'm new to this sort of modelling, it was something I hadn't done so thought I'd give it a go. The first car I started modelling in this type of 3d was 5 or 6 years ago and was a DTM style kitted MX5 and one day I plan to finish that. Generally, though I'm more interested in recreating a design to try and be as close to the real thing as possible. I'd like to eventually get around to creating my own concepts but it's a whole new ball game from creating a model from blueprints and loads of reference pictures to trying to create a design from nothing. One day though.

I'm probably going to pick it up Friday but I am very iffy about aspects of this game because I am fully aware of the leaks which were part of the review embargo so reviewers weren't allowed to talk about that portion of the game or even reflect it in the score. Every review is also quite misleading for this reason. Imagine being a food critic, going into a restaurant and then being told you can only review the starter and not the main course or desert and you are hamstrung because any complaints from the overall experience that can't be mentioned or then be reflected in the score. I have never seen reviewers hamstrung so much in what they can say, score or show and pivotal parts of the game which were leaked that they have heavily censored with false DMCA's makes me a bit skeptical. The game looks totally amazing but there is a lot more to this product than meets the eye and people can only see that if they look into the leaks or purchase the game. A lot can also be said who they gave review copies too. I'm definitely looking forward to trying this but I have a feeling user reviews might tell a different story.

So I finished this one a couple of weeks ago, just never posted it. So I present my complete Alfa Romeo 105 Giulia, I managed to model this one quicker than the Lancia above but I spent more time working out the specifics of rendering so this looks more "real". And of course, it's mandatory in these situations to add a massive widebody to any car modelled in 3d 😄 Somewhat inspired by the Zakspeed Capri and on Lancia Stratos wheels.
