  1. I don't think there's been a better fit for a FG Friday night game than Wreckfest. 4 hours flew by before we knew it. Great to see a total of 16 of us across the night too. @Greboth is starting to get the hang of it now and be that ultimate prick that wins every race...unless Rich @tronic44 doesnt friggin win it. Double pricks! Oh, and @phil bottle is starting to become one of these elite pricks too picking me off at every opportunity. What's happening to you caring bastards! Paul @slamminbones was his usual self smashing me 50 miles up into the air. Nice to see new boys @Tadnothad and @Findmartin join the Wreckfest carnage. i enjoyed destroying them both but I think Tad enjoyed so much he passed out by the end of the night 🤣 @Diddums was spectacularly late. So late that he still needed a fag after the hard work of 1 whole race. @techno impressed me last night, he was quite well reserved and didnt come last everytime. @TonyAE86 is becoming my bad habit. The amount of times I nearly wrecked somebody, his car pops up and smashes me off course. Cheeky bastard. Good to see @crispymorgan getting back on the road of ol' FG. It didnt go a miss that you were telling your son to kill me too, forgive and not forget, bitch 🤩 Top, epic night. GGFG all @G_dub52 @slamminbones @Stretch616 @techno @phil bottle @tronic44 @Greboth @crispymorgan @Findmartin @phil bottle @Spacedeck @Tadnothad @TonyAE86 @Diddums @Ajay1997.

  2. Very excited to see this in last night's PS5 event. It looks amazing. I'm not likely to pick up a PS5 for a while, so I hope they release this for PS4 and make it forward compatible... If not, and I can't believe I'm saying this about a driving game, could make me pick up the console quicker than planned. Though I finally got round to playing Assetto Corsa yesterday and that might keep me on the straight and narrow. I put off playing it, as I couldn't get on with Project Cars and the hassle trying to get any feeling out of that game soured me on PC driving. But I'm so glad I finally gave it a try, it is fantastic.

Top offer @Greboth, absolute legend of a cunt man 💛 I actually didn't even realise AC was on PS4, was thinking about resurrecting the time trial stuff because of how good GT 7 looked. What made GT stand out initially as a series was the detailed yet easy to understand customisation of the cars and the vast campaign with multiple classes to go and accomplish. I really hope that the campaign they are promising delivers, it looks stunning.

Oi! I’ve never cheated... I just know where all the short cuts are. I’ve enjoyed GT Sport but after spending so much time in Assetto Corsa recently it’s hard to go back to GT. Though I’ll still be keeping an eye on it as more details come out. @G_dub52 Thinking of getting assetto corsa on pc or ps4? The ps4 version is good but the mods available for pc make it one of the best racing sims you can get. If PS4 you're more than welcome to have my copy as I only play it on PC and only bought it on the PS4 for the Hereford meet up last year. After Phil said he tried AC last night, I suggested an AC time trial which I think could be good though with the GT Sport one it was really only Phil and I who took part so the more the merrier if we do an AC one.

  6. Last night was great fun, exactly what i needed to end my working week. I absolutely nailed @Stretch616 on one corner, struggled to breath due to laughing so much after that. GGs all!

  7. On PS4, try out Gran Turismo Sport, it's a really well done mix of sim and casual. A few of us have it and we used to do a weekly challenge where Greboth would choose a random track to time trial. Which he would always win, as he cheats. [emoji847] I still play it most days if I have time. Check out SuperGT on YouTube to get an idea of it. I've just started Assetto Corsa on PC and it's a very good game. Wish I'd played it sooner. 10. Sorry I bailed after only a few races. My daughter was in desperate need of my help. It seems like a great game to play online and it's carnage with you lot. Hopefully I'll be able to stick around for longer next time.

Just a thought but should the following threads maybe be moved to the new Health & Fitness forum? http://forevergaming.co.uk/forum/index.php?/topic/6243-running-cycling/ http://forevergaming.co.uk/forum/index.php?/topic/7684-how-are-we-keeping-fit-and-healthy-in-isolation/ http://forevergaming.co.uk/forum/index.php?/topic/7876-home-gym-uk-strongest-novice/

  12. I’m not going to lie to you folks, that’s a huge weight off my mind. I’m glad Stacey was able to put us all on the straight an narrow and give us some perspective. I mean the constant repression of the civil liberties of several races in the world being oppressed is definitely not more important than a disease with a 99.7% recovery rate...... Also, backs matter!

  15. I'm with you in taking breaks - unfortunately I find I have less breaks on my work days because i'm at home. What I have started to do though is walk with my daughter up and down the hill that my close is on whilst she rides her bike. It gets me 1k-2k steps in so hopefully it stays dry enough to do this a few times a day.

Hey dude I would be on PS4. Until I move house with internet that isn't powered by a hamster in a ball I won't have a proper PC setup. This is why I had to borrow a laptop for the poker haha If you were willing to let the PS4 copy of AC go I would love it! I am happy to pay or Ill make a donation to the FG fund 👍 thank you so much 🙂

  19. Tbh I kinda like it now. Gives me a new incentive to play. Trying different weapons, to find the beset feeling onces, then researching possible god rolls for pvp or pve.. searching for new strats and guides on YT etc... it made the game feel like the first time you are playing it. I am grateful thought that the power level jump this season is not big of a deal. You can max it out within the first week to 1050.. I am excited for the new DLC, already pre-ordered it. Yes the game has still flaws etc.. but I am just addcited to it, so I'll take anything Bungie gives me. I hate it lol. But oh well, time to get back to grinding! 😄

  20. Apart from the connection issues and then what turned out to be a flash power cut in the area kicking me out it was a laugh, prefer the demo rounds to the races personally.

Gran Turismo looks like its going to be amazing i just hope the range of cars improves! I was thinking about trying Assetto Corsa as one of the lads at work keeps going on about it. May consider a purchase after payday.

  23. mom just using the 5th edition book as it’s the one I’ve played the whole time, the book isn’t all that important to be honest, that’s what is great about Cthulhu - it’s very loose!

  27. I bought Battlefield 3 Premium yesterday and refunded it. Never had any issues with Battlelog previous but I just couldn't get the game to run as it was stuck on 'initializing' even trying to play the campaign. It's only 40% positive on Steam and many users are reporting issues with this. Battlelog was optimised for the now defunct Internet Explorer and although I could play BF4 through Origin using Chrome without issue, I gave up trying to work through BF3 yesterday on Steam. I am not going through the rigmarole of removing my AV, changing browser, reinstalling everything and disabling my firewall. Refund was the easiest fix!

  28. Hi folks, I have been commissioned by @Diddums to lead a taster session for a different type of game. As you all probably know I play a bit of D&D on a Wednesday, I absolutely love it and it's really immersive and fun. So we are going to try the table top role playing game style here at FG. Using Discord and a little bit of preparation we will be able to go on an amazing journey of the mind! Call of Cthulhu is a HP Lovecraft inspired adventure game (think Scientology.....yeh that guy!) which is based on mystery solving, the occult and mythos. Games are generally story driven (rather than battle driven like D&D) which allow players to be more immersive in their characters and skills. To give you an 'idiots guide' what will happen is that I will lead a group of you on a 'mission' to solve a mystery (kind of like scooby do!) based around a certain time period, event or creature. An example of a previous campaign i've run is that of the Mary Celeste and some spontaneous murders that have occurred. My group of characters had to work out what was causing the murders (ghosts of the Mary Celeste) and how to stop that (spectral mirror to let the ghosts know they were dead and to fuck off to the after life). The big 'fun' of CoC is that the more you learn about the occult and mythos, the more sanity you lose....this creates a unique challenge because the more you know, the less you can do (as a character) so you have to become creative. All we are going to need is 4 - 6 players, you have some a choice from there which I'd like to comment on below. You can either create your own character or use one of my pre-made ones, let me know below if you intend to play and what you'd like to do visa-vi character. You can either buy some cheap dice from amazon or use an app on your phone, i'm not really too worried about that. We are tentatively going to say next Sunday 21st June with a 3pm kick off time, the session will last 3-4 hours as i'd like to get you through a full short campaign. Peace and love Elliott

  30. There's loot drops for watching Tarkov on Twitch at the moment, I watched a stream for 5 minutes yesterday and it dropped me a Factory key. Which, considering there has just been a wipe, is gold dust. Anyway, here's Kotton

  31. You need to watch Firefly to fully appreciate Serenity in my opinion, both are brilliant and well up there on preferred list. As for recent viewing. I've binged all 3 seasons of Westworld. Enjoyed this a lot. Gangs of London. Blood thirsty but very good. Save Me & Save me Too. Really worth a watch! Lennie James (Morgan in Walking Dead) is so good in this. Just watched all episodes of "The Other One", on BBC Iplayer which is really funny. Have just started watching Frayed on NOW which I'm enjoying also. I don't normally have a good attention span for binge watching but the bilge that is being recycled on "normal" TV a the moment, the options are limited. I also watched Jo Jo Rabbit the other week after not getting chance to see it on the big screen, loved it! 👍

  35. So yeah, coming back to Fallout 76 was interesting. They have added content now, after how long?, that should have been in the game at launch. Finally, real NPCs to interact with, and a new quest line. The funny thing is, the new content is ok as a solo player but pretty shit in a party, as only one person gets to do the story and interactions while your co-players are merely helpers and spectators. So they have made a multiplayer game into a single player game experience. It's truly laughable. I've reinstalled Fallout 4 instead, time to finish that bad boy.

  36. One thing I'd say is do things (where possible) at the same time. Eg when I work from home, 8-4, I have a 10 minute break in the morning, 30 min lunch and 10 min break in the afternoon. Instead of sitting chilling, I just go for a walk. All added up (10 minutes to eat lunch) is 40 minute walking during the day. So maybe means getting up a little earlier and getting it done before you start work, or do it after.
