  4. This is one where the opposite happens - sounds whacky as hell concept but I totally think it will work better than anyone anticipates. We have a chance at the playoffs. Squad is the youngest (on average) in the league with players only getting better game by game. We were top of the form book over last 10-12 games or so, which I hope continues for us because I really do think our squad deserves a shot more than some of those teams in the top 6. We have a pretty decent run-in with only 3 points to make up on 6th - 9 cup finals if you ask me.

  7. Into the unknown. Nothing is known about the next season - that starts tomorrow. They have kept everything under wraps. Live stream happens 1 hour before we go live (I believe) with new season. Also seen this as the infographic for buying silver Mind is open to whats in store for Season 11 - good call on Bungie for not releasing any info ahead whatsoever. Element of surprise needs to come back to Destiny. Put any info up you hear as and when you get it for Season 11. Would love to know what you think we'll get. I don't expect anything super huge for Season 11 as that should be the fall DLC, but you just never know - the season prior to DLCs are usually the best on past experience. What you reckon?

  8. Ok so I'm opening this thread based off a couple of conversations I've had this week. As you all have probably noticed most people have taken to the garden to spend the holiday funds as lockdown is still upon us. So with being said I'm offering my services for those who are in need of guidance to do with that space out front/back you hope to improve on. For the record I hold a full chemical license, bluebook(chainsaw), member of the IOGG with my HND. Hopefully I should be able to help people out if they need it. Via the FG App

  10. Yeah, that was a drag for an hour but with a great 10 minute ending. They took learnings from it being something new. I like they are continuing to try new stuff, alongside maintaining everything else going on. I don't wanna get hyped but if we stupidly get a planet or somenthing tasty like that I think it'll be a massive win for us 3 months prior to a potentially big DLC.

  19. We had a fun day on the server yesterday. @tronic44 and @phil bottle looking for Oil shale in the distance and on the way, we got distracted (of course we did πŸ˜„). Managed to find two chests from my treasure maps i had on me. 4k in coins and a ton of ammo. Loads of different types of arrows, i really need to start using my bow. We also raided a little village and filled up our bikes...and then took the whole of the next day to empty the bikes into our storage as well as make a better job of where we store everything at the home base! You gotta have enough food you know! Rich set the days back a few so i could make abit of concrete on my own and update some walls for the XP and help reinforce the base abit. I need to use 4 or 5 skill points up when i'm back on next. Need to work out what to use them on. I think my brain/intellect one is already up to 4 or 5 so may keep doing that.

  20. Firstly, thats awesome Dan. Great work to lose anything in these days. Whilst social days are a distant memory atm, its not worked in my favour because my only bit of exercise previously was once a week footy for an hour to keep the blood pumping. This past week i've tried to get out more for walks, especially with the dogs. Also briefly started some push ups too. I'm finding WFH actually gets more in the way of routine because you cram other activities, home, schooling, DIY, into the spots i'm not on the phone dealing with issues, decisions, etc for work. Mentality and mindset just needs to shift a little bit for me but seeing you do so well has given me a little nudge. Nice one pal.

  21. So I managed to watch this a little later than the FG Film week it was for but I'm really glad i stuck to finding time to watch it. Now I don't like gangster films, just not very exciting for me, not sure what it is. However, I'd go on to say that this one did keep my interest as I think the way it was made with Ray Liotta explaining what was going on really helped and i'm pretty sure this is one of the 'softer' gangster films out there - you know, when you say you like Whisky and the only one you drink is Southern Comfort. Anyway, you guys can confirm if my comments are true. @phil bottle, yes Joe Pesci's funny man scene was awesome. He was more mental than I realised in this! The set up for the final scenes and his review of 'that day' was well made. Opened my eyes to how it really was back in the day. 7.5/10 - solid and fun watch, albeit a little long.

  22. I’d agree about the best film Wahlberg has been in, it was a break in his comedy or action films and something I’d like to see him do more often. It’s a brilliant film overall though, I know it’s based on a true story but they keep the real life in by not only focusing on the good and glossing over the depression and despair that Dicky goes through. It isn’t an easy watch at times but it’s well worth watching.

  23. I never had one too, I actually got mine from an ex years ago! I think celebrating anniversary's of Sega are cool but for the 60th Sega year, I don't know why they couldn't have made something similar to the mini classics that Nintendo have done - even if i do despise them as well.

  24. On rewatch, I thought this was a really hard slog. The performances from Walberg and Bale were very good but the depths of despair were very deep!

I can't believe some of the hands I lost but oh well, that's the luck of the draw. It was still a laugh, thanks for setting it up @LordBaguette and I look forward to it if we do another.

So I finished this one a couple of weeks ago, just never posted it. So I present my complete Alfa Romeo 105 Giulia, I managed to model this one quicker than the Lancia above but I spent more time working out the specifics of rendering so this looks more "real". And of course, it's mandatory in these situations to add a massive widebody to any car modelled in 3d πŸ˜„ Somewhat inspired by the Zakspeed Capri and on Lancia Stratos wheels.

  29. This is a great game - picked it up now it's on Steam and it's awesome to play something fresh and original instead of the usual run of the mill brands and genres. Game is 4 years old today and looks absolutely incredible! Also nice to see the developers really making the most out of the Frostbite Engine. I had the original Mirrors Edge back in the day on the 360 in 2008 I think it was and that was a very good game for its time and still looks fantastic. This one didn't quite make the same impact but it deserves a lot more credit than what it was given IMO. 50% off on Steam at Β£9 and probably bargin bin territory on console too so definitely worth a look!

  31. I just finished this game (and platinum trophy) and it’s a hell of a ride. The gameplay is very souls like but not as brutal in my opinion. Story was excellent and the locations, lore and creatures were all well done.

    Warzone Hackers

Ha ha I think the OP is playing on PC, hence the issues. Sorry Adam it's all true, PC hackers and scripters are poison and very prevalent, far more than on console. Mind you, I picked up the PC version myself on a sale the other dayπŸ˜‚

Precisely. Crossplay should be PS4 and Xbox only. Hackers will ruin most games with Crossplay enabled. So fuck PC.

  37. I wouldn't run Kill Chain as it makes no effect in Warzone, you'd be better running cold blooded so you're hidden from the heartbeat sensors and thermals imo

  38. I'm very new to the game, this is also the first BR game I've played. First outing was with some FGers after the WWII game night. That didn't go so well, I was pretty badly prepared entering this battlefield, and I didn't understand anything that was going on. Ive recently been playing this with another mate and he's been walking me through this entire game, from explaining objectives, icons, way things work, setting up a loadout to even changing some settings / controls in the menus. Now I kind of know what I'm doing but I'm still not that great. Still fighting for my first win. So as a first loadout, after some unlocks I'm now sitting on a loadout of M4A1 with Tactical Surpressor and M19 as a secondary weapon. Perks I'm running with Kill Chain, Ghost and Tune Up. I'm thinking of changing out Kill Chain for Quick Fix as I don't tend to use killstreaks. Then topped off with a Frag and Stun. I don't like jumping early or near the centre. I'll usually head for an area just outside the safe zone and make my way inwards, looting and doing contracts if I have anything near by. First chance of getting the loadout, I take it. Unless playing alongside my mate, I'm not having much luck in Trios or Quads. Solos is hard but it's a nice feeling knowing you got your own back and don't have to worry about performance alongside anyone else.

  40. Bit of an old thread again, but how is everyone getting on in lockdown in terms of staying fit & healthy? I managed to pick up a couple of resistance bands at the start of lockdown so have been using those to try and maintain muscle with a full body workout every other day. Have also lost 10lbs in the past 6 weeks. Actually been finding it easier in lockdown; no social events, no eating out, pubs/restaurants shut etc. Whilst others say its been hard because boredom eating. How you guys holding up?
